Positive experience: Nice gym and equipment, but don't try to win the "Muv it and lose it" challenge. There is a person married to the owner/manager that wins every year by being unhealthy as could be all year, gains a bunch of water weight then loses it all in 12 weeks. If this was meant to benefit everyone's health, the only challenge that you should be able to win repeatedly is the muscle gain portion of the challenge. To win the fat loss portion more than once, you should not gain back more than 50% of your of what you lost the prior time. Just my opinion

Ariel makes me feel welcomed every time I come in, Gabe is always giving me fitness advice and helping me out, Emily makes sure the gym is ran to complete perfection! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The staff at MÜV Fitness is friendly, the equipment works well and there are 5 locations in the Columbia, SC area. I frequently visit Forest Dr and the West Columbia locations. Both are top notch facilities.

Fantastic experience: Gabe is the best, he sold me my membership and is a handsome gentlemen. However I am not longer able to work out and he cancelled my membership for me! No hassle no problem!

Fantastic experience: This Muv location was great. Even following New Years, the gym did not feel overcrowded and the atmosphere was great. The front desk staff (Gabe) was both friendly and helpful. Has everything a gym should and I love the turf area.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had the pleasure of utilizing the West Columbia location when visiting family. The staff was great, and I loved the variety of equipment. My only complaint would be that Muv doesn’t have a location in the greater Nashville, TN area. I’d love to see this chain grow! I’d be a little worried about hours, though. Perhaps when they scale and make it to my area, they’ll be open 24hrs. I’d recommend this gym to my friends and family!

Fantastic experience: As an overweight person, gyms make me nervous. Even being a member for years, I always feel nervous walking in. When I walked in today Fitz immediately made me feel welcomed. He was kind, helpful, and encouraging. He was opened about his own fitness journey which gave me the courage to be more open with myself to realize I need to get serious about my own journey. I left MUV feeling empowered and excited about this new journey I am starting. 10/10 would recommend the West Columbia gym!

Fantastic experience: Fitz was great and thorough. I appreciate him helping me re-acclimate to a gym environment after being stagnant for a couple of years. I’m exciting about getting back in the gym, toning, being consistent and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: Great gym and really like this location of muv fitness. Staff is always friendly and machines rarely are out of order. Even though this location is smaller I feel as though it is never overly crowded and I can always get to the machines I need in a timely manner. Also love that it has a 3 squat racks and 3 flat bench press stations!

Fantastic experience: Joined with a membership and all my questions and more were answered! Fitz gave a great tour and spoke to me about the different options available but understood I was on a specific budget. Equipment was clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to working out here this year!!

Just chatting with him made me even more excited about my fitness journey! If you want to sign up at MUV I HIGHLY suggest you give him a call at the West Columbia Location...he will take care of your needs and having you laughing while he's doing it! An amazing guy!

Fantastic experience: Muv fitness West Columbia has been wonderful!!! Go and see Anthony the General Manager of this facility! He will make sure that you are well taken care of and will help you get the results you are looking for! I have been a member of several gyms and this one by far is the best!!! All the staff from Fitz, Alex, Christian and Anthony all treat all the members as family! The cardio theatre is my favorite! It’s a cool room with all my favorite films! Don’t have to think about my workout when I am in there! Go see Muv West Columbia! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Fantastic experience: I just signed up at this gym and I'm already in love. I was so nervous walking in but then I met Fitz. He was so welcoming, gave me a great tour of the gym and made me feel at home. Fitz introduced me to everyone, explained all the equipment to me, asked me questions and really understood what I was looking for. I have never been more excited to go back to a gym!! Everyone was so nice, the equipment and gym was very clean. I can't wait to start my new journey at MUV Fitness!!

Fantastic experience: Good gym for the price, recently renovations and all new equipment are very nice.

Fantastic experience: A really great gym all around. There's a pretty family friendly environment among all the staff and other gym goers. I feel there is some miscommunication at times between the local staff and upper management, however, the staff are very amicable and willing to hear the problems you may have. The equipment is pretty well maintained and the porter, Mrs. Debbie, does an excellent job keeping everything as clean as possible. The front desk workers are always extremely friendly and always greet me with a smile. The PT's are also very knowledgeable in regards to fitness, and I have had loads of great workouts with them during the group classes. Speaking of which, I would highly recommend paying a little extra for the classes if your trying to get back in shape. I'd have to give special shout outs to John, Shanea, and Jackie for being some of the hardest working PT's I've seen there! Beyond that, there are many body builders and power lifters who frequent the place that are very friendly and willing to help anyone serious about weightlifting. On another note, don't listen to any others here talking about contract issues. No, you can't just opt out of the contract because you just feel like. It's called a CONTRACT for a reason, people. It also clearly states everything in the contract before you sign it. I guess some people forgot the old adage of reading documents before you sign them. I had no issues ending my contract once the period for it was over. In certain instances even, i.e. if you're moving really far away, they'll let you cancel it. To be honest, they were pretty straight forward in regards to the terms of the contract. Either way, if you live in the Columbia area, all the Müv's are pretty top notch and certainly offer the best bang for your buck!

Fantastic experience: I enjoy muv. I usually visit muv 2-4 times a week. I've taken some of their classes, they are great. Wish it was bigger, but West Columbia location is the smallest location, but convince to my work, it's the only one I go to. Great employees, and definitely take care of their regular goers. Also has child, which is why I chose muv over planet fitness.

Fantastic experience: They have a great selection of equipment and programs to do so if you don't feel like spending hundreds you don't have to. It's really not expensive and I have always been able to get to the equipment I want with no wait. Staff is very nice too!
