Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend this gym ! Went in today for open gym and it has all the powerlifting equipment I needed for my deadlifts! Great machines for accessories and the massage chairs put the cherry on top ! Sadly this gym is over an hour away from me so I can’t join but I will definitely return ! Clean and good vibes !

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms in the area, with a good environment, clean, and well taken care of. It has everything anybody from a casual gym goer to a pro bodybuilder could need. The owner is always innovating and bringing new equipment making it a great place to workout. You can get a 24hr pass, or different memberships according to your needs.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. They have amazing equipment and very diverse equipment at that. They have just about something for everything. Started going about 3 months ago maybe because my friend has been going for a while. They have a great posing room for after workout/progress pics. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone wanting a new gym to go to or even your first gym. And the monthly rate isn't bad for everything they have there too, which is more then I've said here.

Negative experience: The gym was nice had good equipment. When i canceled my membership i signed the cancelation they said everything was fine. I checked my account later and saw that i was still getting charged. I called talked to them about it, they said they had nothing on file about me canceling and said they would only reimburse me for 2 months. Make sure you get a copy for yourself so they won't be able to lose the only copy.

I've been training with George and his fees are reasonable, he is knowledgeable, encouraging and helpful in setting my goals and reaching them. This is the best gym for all types, even beginners like me who are not used to "pumping iron". Very laid back and welcoming environment. I canceled my membership to LA Fitness because I found Roman Empire Gym a lot more feasible, welcoming and accessible, as well as great trainers who are willing to help. Go check Roman Iron Gym out!

Fantastic experience: This is a very nice gym for basically everyone trying to improve in lifting. Whether it would be bodybuilding, powerlifting, physical therapy or just general training for overall health. The gym is very hands on, the owner is present basically every day and there are constant improvements to the gym. From new equipment to high protein food and drinks being accessible right inside the gym in their own separate rooms. Overall the gym has lots of equipment. There are many machines with fixed weights or free weights. There are multiple squat bench and deadlift racks. 2 sets of dumbbells that go all the way up to 200 pounds (If you are that crazy). There is a cardio room that has step machines and treadmills; also there are multiple massage chairs for whole body and for legs. (Rowing machines and bycicle ones are inside the gym) There is a huge posing room with very nice lighting. There are also mini saunas, for one person, but they aren't allowed to be turned up too high and since we are in Texas you'll get the same effect by sitting in your car with air conditioning off. When it comes to cons, the gym is giant and metal, so it's hard to keep it very cool so right now during summer it's hard to spend their like 2 hours or more. But if you just come to get your work out in like an hour it's very manageable. There is no dressing room. Well, technically there is but it's unusable because everyone can see you there. But there are a restroom and a shower room which are comfortable enough to change in if you are desperate. The gym can get very busy especially during hours after work. However it's not too crowded and everyone is focused on their own gym goals and work outs, so it is very much manageable. The cost is mid-high, 79.99 for initiation fee and 49.99 a month, or you pay approximately 400$ for a year which saves quite a bit of money. Overall I would definitely recommend this gym unless you are struggling with money. The pros far outweigh the cons, and the cons overall are just small inconveniences that most of the time aren't even noticeable. Thank you for reading my review.

Fantastic experience: This gym is pretty gosh darn amazing. They have things that I've never seen before. Bars I've never seen before and leg machines that look insanely fun to try. I didn't go there to workout. I was there filming a video for a friend. But yeah this gym is awesome. Its literally for both beginners and professionals. Everything is spread out nicely, the ppl that workout there are friendly as well as the staff. It's awesome really awesome. Good vibes!

Fantastic experience: Best Gym in our area!! Amazing staff and a stunning facility! Have you seen their upper level? From hydro-massages to HIIT and PALATES, there's something for everyone! Everything fitness-related is crammed into this beautiful, well-equipped facility! I can't wait for the doors to reopen.

Fantastic experience: Equipment is easy 10/10. Lots of name brand and specialty equipment. Every machine you could ever think of, assault fitness and panatta machines and ones with beginning, middle, end loading. Lighting is a 5/10 though. No down lighting and lots of LEDs. But they have a pose room where you can get some down lighting

Fantastic experience: This gym is unbelievable. It has so many pieces of high quality equipment, great music and friendly staff. The owner is awesome to talk to and is always adding new things to make the place better. It also has a smoothie lounge, sauna, yoga, posing room, cardio room and more.

Fantastic experience: Very fun gym music is top!! And the owners are pretty friendly!! Alot of good equipment and a rope to climb. Cardio room has four treadmills with 1 self propelled treadmill and 2 stairmasters. The office is connected to the side. They have apparel you can purchase. They have powerlifting stations.

Fantastic experience: "When in Roman, Do as the Roman's Do". We're all familiar with this old adage. However, at Roman's Iron Gym (@romanirongym) this saying truly resonates in an atmosphere of positive vibes, good music and unique machines. The rare equipment alone is worth a visit. Definitely, a lifters gym, but equally inviting to any novice. I'm excited to acquaint myself with their exceptional equipment and I reccomend any gym junkie to do the same.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! I own a gym and am an avid gym goer and travel to different cities to experience different gyms. It's rugged and real with great custom equipment in it. The energy is great because it's not like your normal chain gym and people are there to put in work.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Roman Iron Gym for almost a year now and I wouldn't want to train anywhere else. The gym is really well equipped either for bodybuilding or powerlifting. It is a warehouse gym but everything is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere and the people training there are amazing. No matter your goals or where you are at in your fitness journey, you will always feel welcome and part of a family! The gym has also very knowledgeable trainers which will help you with training and nutrition if you need to. Their memberships is very affordable compared to other warehouse gyms or commercial gyms. You can also try it out with a $10 day pass to experience by yourself the Roman Iron Gym vibe or come on Open Gym Sundays which are done several times during the year!

Fantastic experience: Roman Iron has state of the art equipment and friendly employees! Everyone at this gym is working towards one common goal encouraging each other to better themselves! Whether you are in shape or not, this is best gym in south Houston to reach whatever goals you set for yourself. I highly recommend this gym, plus they have a $10 day pass to check it out which is super cheap compared to 24 hrs and LA fitness where they make you pay $25 for a day pass. Fantastic experience: I came to this gym about a year and a half ago and immediately felt welcomed. I love the classic look of a good garage style gym. They have all the equipment you would need for powerlifting. They also have a great selection of personal trainers to help you reach your goals.

Fantastic experience: I worked out at another gym nearby that was double the price and the hours weren’t compatible with my schedule, ultimately being a waste of money. I wish I came over to Roman Iron sooner. The equipment is constantly being updated and there are machines in there I’ve never seen anywhere else. If you can make it past the warehouse aspect, it’s lovely. The staff is super friendly and the environment is just awesome. Many hype men who want to see you succeed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Roman since May 2019 and started a fitness journey here. The equipment selection is great! The owner, George, is probably the nicest person I have ever met. He is always there to address any concerns or just give you a “keep up the good work!” I train with Brook who is amazing and so much fun to workout with. Compared to other gyms the membership is reasonable and the people here are great. Everyone just wants a good work out here!

The people there are hard workers with big goals and that pushes me to dig deeper in my workout. George has been an awesome trainer... always encouraging! The 24 hours access to it’s members adds in bonus, and their location is very convenient to those in the Webster/LeagueCity/Friendswood/Dickinson areas. Roman Iron appeals to all types of lifters and gym goers, you’re going to see all kinds of people there, and this is a place you will want to experience for yourself and at least check out! I am so happy to have found a gym like this as it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for the last three years since moving to the Houston area!
