Las Vegas Athletic Clubs - Southwest

Fantastic experience: I always come back to this gym,..they really have everything I like: racquet ball, arm bicycle machines, tons of classes, and especially the indoor track. Pros: clean, huge facility, the track is a unique find for us, the folks at the front are friendly, and the price is excellent Cons: the Music is always TOO LOUD. What are they trying to do? Almost everyone has their own music,..I just don't get it. And that is about my only complaint.

Fantastic experience: I shopped before I joined and I picked right. Pros - Open 24/7/365. Child care. CLEAN. Affordable. All types of people and all shapes. Nice indoor track. Lots of equipment. Seldom have to wait. Woman only section. Nice pool, sauna and hot tub. LOTS of classes. Cons - Busy parking lot - you will seldom get to park close. Not a lot of personalized attention but then that is not what I was looking for. You get a couple of assessments included and there are trainers you can hire. Two year contract but the monthly price is not bad.

Fantastic experience: Best Juice Bar staff out of any LVAC, they do a better job than actual bartenders. The gym itself is nice too. I would prefer if the free weight area was upstairs tho, instead of being on a different floor from the other weight machines

Fantastic experience: Parking lot is still busy, but free. Place is still pretty clean. I was just in the pool area. I didn't wander. Pool area is quite busy at this location. Staff welcomed me when I arrived. I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: Part of over a half-dozen large facilities around the Las Vegas and Henderson areas. Generally clean, well-equipped and managed, well-staffed, and fairly priced. Membership provides discounts at other businesses around the city too

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for a few years now. I love the happy environment and cleanliness of this place, not to mention that I have been able to reduce my weight significantly and form my body shape to a desirable point.

Fantastic experience: Not my favorite of the LVAC locations as the ATC downstairs gets so packed and cramped but easily accessible from work and I start my days here. Staff is awesome and always super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the Vegas area. With many locations, LVAC is guaranteed to get you into tip top shape. Manageable dues that are totally worth the perks! They even have a smoothie bar with healthy food options at every location Ive been to. Definitely a member for life

Fantastic experience: I’m from out of town and the front reception worker was absolutely phenomenal! His name was Carl and he explained the gym very well and was super welcoming and kind. I hope you do yourself a favor and promote If I were to move to Vegas I would definitely sign up at this gym! (Because of him) And just in case I got him name wrong he was working the front desk at 9:30am at 1/21/22.

Fantastic experience: We love coming to this location. It seems that machines are lot newer. There's also so much selections of machines. There's a separate room for women which I love, and also a room for advanced training. We come here also for racquetball, they have couple courts. Staff are nice and the gym usually is clean.

Fantastic experience: I moved to my neighborhood just so I could be near this gym. It's gorgeous inside and out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is always sparkling clean. There's more equipment than you could possibly dream of having. The classes are also wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Big and busy and clean with lots of amenities and a good food bar. Once the government decides to allow people to live healthy lifestyles again without the totally practical and non-hypocritical mask and distancing policies, I’m very excited to get back into the sauna to start my day.

Fantastic experience: Took amazing and tough Yoga class. Very 1st time. Instructor Mary was lovely and soothing and thorough in her directions, especially for a newbie like me. People have been taking her classes for years!

Fantastic experience: Probably the best value as far as gyms go in Las Vegas. They have good locations, great variety of equipment, open 24/7, and kept very clean. Only negative would be that they can be pretty crowded at certain times.

Fantastic experience: I love the racquetball courts... sad only 2. Boy, is this a pick-up joint⚡ People may go to workout but I see friends with benefits. It's Vegas, it's funny. People do whatever they want. Lots of machines, great tour, nice Trainers too. I love that!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve being going to LVAC for over 6yrs now and I I love how reasonable and convenient it is for me and the best value as far as gyms go in Las Vegas. Their locations are the best. I love that they have a women’s section because sometimes I just wanna workout with guys checking me out otherwise it’s the best place to be if you wanna be inspired and motivated and also have the best body .it’s open 24/7, and kept very clean. Only negative would be that they can be pretty crowded at certain times, otherwise my favorite gym .

Fantastic experience: LVAC was an exciting thrill. I went inside to inquire about membership. I was given a tour; it had everything I wanted in an athletic club and more. The membership options and fee were very affordable. The atmosphere clean, inviting, safe and comfortable. I didn't sign up because going though medical treatments. But I'm looking forward to the day that I am healthy to join Las Vegas Athletic Club. Great incentive to get healthy soon.

Fantastic experience: Despite the covid precautions, lvac still a good place to work out. I've gone at all times and its never really crowded. Machines are alternated daily and cleaning supplies are everywhere for everyone to wipe machines down before and after use. Lockerrooms are still closed but you can bring a small bag with you now to the floor.

Fantastic experience: The facility is clean, people are using every other machine-as posted by colored dots- in order to social distance. You're not allowed to bring in your bag or use the locker room (though the toilets and sinks are still available for use). I've enjoyed being able to come back.

Fantastic experience: I love this specific location and gym for the playroom. The girls in there are so sweet and so nice to the kids, and I truly trust them. And my little kid LOVES them as well. Specifically the girls in the noon-afternoon time. The gym overall is clean, the machines work great, and there is a large variety of equipment. The food is good but a bit pricey for what you get. The actual gym staff is okay, they aren’t rude but could definitely be more friendly. Seems like they care about talking to their friends more than working.

Fantastic experience: It's a long term commitment kind of gym. Averages out for me about $15 per month but I can visit every gym they have in town. Which is a lotttt. And after like 3 years my yearly drops to about $100. Around $8 per month. Amazing. Amenities galore too. Take a free tour! You won't regret it :)

Fantastic experience: I've been in town for several years, and I never thought I would join one of these clubs, but a couple of weeks ago I did. So far, it's worked out very well. I can see where it would be tough to squeeze something like this in if you have busy days. I go to the Southwest location and they do stay very crowded almost all the time. Honestly though, the only time I've ever had to wait for anything was in the free weights area. even then, they have so much equipment that if the piece you need is being used, you should be able to figure out something else to do to keep yourself busy until it's open. It really shouldn't be that difficult. As it happens, I have a lot of free time right now so I can enjoy everything about the club with no concerns about running out of time. the price is very good, much better than I expected. The only drawback is that it is a 26 month commitment. if you are thinking about joining, go for it, there is no reason to wait. Update, 3/2019: I'm about 6 weeks in now, and still have nothing but good things to say about them. some reviewers on here are down on their customer service, but I don't need much help, and haven't had much reason to interact with them. I know what I want to do, I go there and do it, take my shower and leave. I'm going to talk to them soon about upgrading my membership. I only have the basic right now at $23 per month, but I use the place so much I think it might be worthwhile to upgrade a little bit. (update 3/27, I emailed their customer service almost a month ago to ask a couple of basic questions. No one ever replied, including to the spam folder, so there might be something to this lack of customer service thing) If I could make one sincere request from them, it would be worth their time if they would add some kind of water treatment system coming into the building so that when you use the water fountains you aren't drinking straight up tap water. I have not taken any of the free classes yet, but I'm thinking about doing that this week just to see how it is.

Fantastic experience: Best time to go is early in the morning. It is fairly not overcrowded and it is usually the same group of people. I've been continuously going to this location for the past 4 years. My schedule recently changed so the best time for me to go is now at 4am. Lately this has been an even more awesome experience as Joy one of the nicest lady's in the front makes me feel spoiled as she has memorized my member ID :). This gives me that extra motivation every morning to stay consistent with my routine so Joy doesn't forget me.

Fantastic experience: I joined yesterday. Steve took for a tour at a peak time (4:30pm). Steve was great, he explained everything to me in detail as we walked through the facility. The facility was immaculate including the men's locker room. They have everything you need to get in shape and stay in shape. The staff was very energetic and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out with it being open twenty four seven. The atmosphere is very aggressive to work out and get things done. The place is maintained very well and clean. Very nice saunas with a dry and a wet. Very nice snack bar in the lobby offering great smoothies. The place is really great for those looking for a workout any time of the day and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Great gym - always open. There is a track around the whole facility with views of the mountains. 2 floors of equipment and space for stretching. Friendly community. They get the latest machines on the market. Good maintenance. Women's only gym as well.

Fantastic experience: Clean and loaded with equipment. What more could I want in a gym? Also, I love the playroom. It had plenty of fun stuff. My son went there since he was 3, and always loved it. He's 10 now and still loves it. My daughter is 1 and she doesn't hate it. I used to take her to the YMCA, and she was just always hysterical. But here she's happy. It's a mystery. There are cameras to watch the kids, but they don't actually cover the entire area, so there's only like a 50% chance I'll see my kid at any given moment. It's still really reassuring, though.

Fantastic experience: Have been working out at this location for a little over a year now. While some people complain about it being crowded from time-to-time (it can be), I've never really had an issue with being able to use equipment as needed. For as many amenities as they have, it's a fantastic value, just keep in mind when you join that their contract is pretty ironclad for however long you sign it for (usually 2 years, I believe).

Fantastic experience: Very cool gym, staff is professional and on it, and 24 hour access is great for my lifestyle. Have met a lot of great people who workout for their own personal fitness and not a social scene. Best place to start my day!

Fantastic experience: I go there almost every day except for the weekends. I love the environment, I love the juice bar, and I love the women's gym. I have given a review before on another lvac which the service there is great too. The difference is this particular location, the staff are very neutral. Which I like that. I once did have a bad experience but I look at it as one bad situation is nothing compare to the other great times. I give this place of 5-star because they are clean, professional, and if you're there to work out, then you pick the right gym. Remember if the staff are serious, that's how they are. You're there to work out and make a change in your life style. We're not there to impress the staff. An advise for everybody who's thinking about signing up, this is a two-year contract so once you sign up you are dedicated to pay every month.. now remember, if you cancel the membership before that you do have to pay a fee so if you're dedicated to go to the gym at least 3 times a week for half an hour if not an hour, then this is a perfect gym for you. Don't forget to read the contract.!! I seen some really dumb reviews of people complaining of the contract and how they couldn't cancel it and how rude the staff was regarding canceling the contract. I understand why the staff get upset. They even tell you but some people don't take the time to listen or ask. They are not going to read every single page to you. Fantastic experience: LVAC has everything for every branch of fitness, whether you're a newcomer or an advanced athlete. They offer an extremely wide variety of equipment including machines, free weights, racks, accessories, etc. A big positive for me is that is is 24/7 365 days a year. I can workout as early or as late as I please. They offer amazing membership packages that are extremely fair priced. I've been a member for nearly 4 years, and I don't plan on leaving unless I eventually move out of state. The only downside is that it can be packed, but I've experienced that in all other gyms. There will always be peak hours in any business.
