Fantastic experience: When I started CrossFit with Uptick in Lamesa, it was during a time in my life when I was physically at my lowest. I was overweight and out of shape. I was the typical mom that had 2 young kids under the age of four who had given up on exercising altogether. When I found out that they had a kid's room for parents with children I decided to give it a try. I spent one solid year with Uptick before my family relocated. That year completely saved my life! Through all of the sweat and pain of the workouts, I had fun and met the most supportive group of people to help me during this journey. I lost about 15 of fat and gained muscle in all the right areas. I have never felt better! You get to exercise with people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and gender. And with everyone working out together, it becomes a "community" rather than a "gym". All of the trainers are amazing, loving, and supportive. I had the best year with Uptick and even though we had to move, I still to this day love cross fitting and can't imagine my life without it! Give it a try, you won't regret it!
