Fantastic experience: Needed to put my account on hold because of an injury and was upset because there was some miscommunication I had felt I was overcharged an extra month, but the club manager called me back and said he would credit the money to my account, along with some additional months of not being charged once I return. Was very surprised and thankful for his assistance.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this club, but it seems to falling apart some. Machines that break are not replaced, ie the rowing machine the scale, and he helix. Lockers are often locked open and lots of water damage on the ceiling in the group x room. Staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Dave in the mornings. I wish you opened earlier on the weekends. 6am would be very helpful .

There is a wide selection of exercise machines with duplicates so I am not worried about waiting while others are completing their sets. Nice mix of members from all fitness backgrounds.

Fantastic experience: I came back to Genesis after being away for like. 2 years ( I moved) . Genesis is one of the best Gym I’ve ever been . You get your Monies worth . If you are religious in your workouts you can’t beat $45 a month. At Taza Plaza Genesis location 24hr fitness M-F and availability to the pool if it’s not being sanitized or a workout session is being held. I recommend Genesis as a workout gym hands down!

Fantastic experience: Sydnee and Jonathon is are two awesome staff members in the entire Genesis company. I honestly cannot complain about either one of them. Jonathon is very educated in his job and is very detailed on what he does. Sydney is the one that always has a smile on her face and always welcomes me everytime I walk in the gym. Thank you. Fantastic experience: I’m 69 years old and I have been going on 6 years, the people are great and 99% of the people there are friendly and glad to see you. The only questions I have is I signed up a friend to join. I was supposed to get 250 points, I asked a couple of times about it, never received anything points. When you come on on your birthday and work out, your supposed to get 50 points, the last 2 years I know I was there on my birthday never received anything.

Fantastic experience: I recently started going to their water aerobic and Silver Sneakers group classes. I love everything about this gym so far. The facility is well maintained, and the staff have all been friendly and helpful to any of my needs/questions. Members are all very friendly as well. I would highly recommend the Tara Plaza site in Papillon, but I look forward to visiting some of their other locations too.

Fantastic experience: I have used three other local locations and overall, I really enjoy using the Tara Plaza location because of proximity to where I live and because they do a great job of keeping the equipment in perfect working order. There a few items though that have been in disrepair for an extended time and need to be addressed. Two of the large sun screens on the west facing windows have been missing for over a year and need replaced. This causes that side of the facility to be much hotter in the afternoon when the sun is out. The shower curtains are ripped and being tied up in place. They look terrible and need replaced. There also seems to frequently be an issue with a lack of hot water in the men’s shower room. Again, the facility overall is great but those items need addressed. Thanks for running a great gym.

Will definitely be referring people to him he’s the best! They hooked me up with their personal trainer Octavio! Thanks to him I lost 135lb! Never felt better. I love coming here even on days I work due to their 24hr locations!

I never felt the desire to be so involved in my gym before, ever in my life, my Trainer Elijah is a really great person, and actually helps me out and makes me want to push to levels I never thought possible at almost 52 years old. I recommend this business, but most of all the Tara Plaza location most of all, great people.

Fantastic experience: From the second you walk into this gym you feel like your at one of the fancier health clubs in town. Beautifully remodeled, always clean, always kept up, towel service, WiFi, pool, hot tub, spa, steam room. This place has the whole 9 yards and is far and away the best genesis in town!!!

Fantastic experience: I like how friendly the staff is. It is always clean. The machines all work properly..... ( used ones that didn't work at other places ). Everyone that works out there is seems to be really nice and helpful when it comes to asking about different workouts or asking to spot them. I'd say it is by far my favorite genesis!!!

Her positive attitude, and willingness to get to know you as a person gives you that willingness to want to come every week, and disappointed if you can't.

Fantastic experience: The place was awesome. The people were friendly. The pool is great, a little cooler if you are a pro swimmer you won't over heat. The hot tub was nice and clean to warm up after. Steam room, shower, and sauna all on the pool deck. No swimsuit dryer but they do have excellent towel service.

Fantastic experience: A well-managed facility. The place is kept clean. The equipment is kept up-to-date. I've been a member for 8 years. If I see a problem, I mention it and it is addressed before I come again.

Fantastic experience: My fiancee and I used to go to gyms available through our employers (both were about free), and then we joined another local gym when we moved to Papillion. After about six months, we decided to switch to Genesis. We have both found our new experience superior and motivating. First, Genesis has a ton of locations, which helps if you have frequent changes to your routine. Second, Genesis just has better equipment and facilities. Most important, the Genesis team members are positive, always friendly/helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in getting you the best deal for your needs. Genesis is definitely affordable and has a perks system with rewards you would actually want. Very impressed with their club, and both my fiancee and I are already seeing better results and feeling healthier!

Communication between staff and members is great, the hours make the gym accessible to everyone, there is an encouraging environment, the ammenities are modern (and clean!), the classes are incredible (and there’s a wide variety offered), and the staff is a great resource for any and all questions.

Fantastic experience: They are an amazing gym. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have great equipment that works and is clean. They have these really cool low impact banana shaped self propelled treadmills that are my favorite. They recently remodeled and it looks really nice and layed out well. They have a great child care room that even my 3 super shy kids feel comfortable in and love. Their pool and hot tub are very comfortable and clean, they are very accommodating to families. I haven't used them but they have a super nice wet and dry sauna. The locker rooms are beautiful with the best locker lock system I have ever seen. Super easy no Hassel, nice and big. You get a couple free personal training sessions and the instructors are very educated and qualified to help anyone. I highly recommend this place we have tried YMCA, prairie life, and others this is by far the most affordable, cleanest and friendliest. They have helped me with other personal issues and have really gone above and beyond. I wont be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I love that this Genesis location has a pool, hot-tub, steam room, sauna, basketball court, and a huge main floor for cardio and lifting weights. Big fan of the renovation and how nice and maintained the club is. I'm always welcomed by the front desk when I arrive at the gym. I'm really happy here. The ONLY thing that this gym is missing is a swim suit dryer and or bags in the locker room.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for over 5 years. It was previously 24 Hour Fitness and changed to Genesis. Troy has always been a face is friendly and knows my family by name. The Kids Club is awesome! My kids ask to go to the gym because they love it so much. They have friendly staff, decent amenities and towel service. On Saturday's they get the kids from 5-13 to do a Kids Fit and my oldest loves going. They are in a tight spot so they can't grow much or add any new structures without inconveniencing their members. During their renovation it was rough but well worth the changes. I wouldn't go anywhere else unless there was a HUGE advantage.

Fantastic experience: I find this gym to be clean and the staff is very friendly. Every gym has some sort of fees and if you have been a member of a gym most of your life you would know this. However they always have great promotions to offset that. If you are serious about getting healthy and working out the staff here is great to help in anyway. They don't pressure you at all, they are doing their job and if you feel this way your not serious about getting healthy. Give them 5 stars all day.

Fantastic experience: The new remodel and updates to the locker room and training floor have really improved the atmosphere and look of the club! I love the variety of classes. My favorites are Group Power, HIIT, and boot camp. The instructors are super friendly and dedicated to making sure you get a great workout each time. If I had one request, bring back the Thursday 630pm Power Class, can’t make the 530 due to work til 6. Overall, great place to workout!

Fantastic experience: My personal trainer was temporarily moved to this location from Northpark when they closed suddenly, so I had the opportunity to go to this gym 2 to 3 days a week for a few months. The layout and a few machines were slightly different from the Sprague, Cass, and Northpark locations I was used to. The front desk manager and kid's club manager Troy Berge, was very accommodating with my request to allow his kid's club employee to come in 5 minutes earlier on the 2 days I had prescheduled personal training that started the minute their kid's club opened in the afternoon for later daytime hours. This was very helpful knowing I didn't have to reschedule my personal training time with my trainer to another time slot that may have been more inconvenient for me due to them opening 30 minutes later than most other locations do in my area as well as the gym we trained at before they closed. The kid's club employee, Sidney McGruder, was very willing to come in weekly every Monday and Wednesday 5 minutes early before kid's club was scheduled to open to accommodate this transition for me. I was very grateful they were willing to do this for me! It made the transition much less stressful on me not having to worry about it running into my personal training time slot or having to switch time slots with my trainer. James Jones is also awesome! He always talked to me and equally talked to my son! He made him feel just as special as me, the member of the gym. Mike Cardinale, district manager, previously of Northpark before Tara Plaza and now Shadow Lake, has been very helpful...from explaining charges on my account we were billed to issues with some employees at Tara Plaza....which he dealt with those issues swiftly and appropriately and even checked back in with me to let me know the issues with said employees wouldn't happen again. I feel valued as a member knowing the district manager would go to bat for me when his employees were in the wrong. Mike even congratulated me and checked in on my progress regularly. Feels great when employees care as much as I do about when I meet goals, lose another pound, or have a body fat % reduction. I like the sauna at this location the best as it feels like the hottest one of the four locations I've went to in this area. The helixco lateral trainer and curved treadmill were some of my favorite cardio machines at this location.

Fantastic experience: This is the best location. My boyfriend and I go together during weeknights after work and although it’s busy, we have no problem completing our workout. There are multiples of most machines, plenty of cardio equipment, and the functional training area is AWESOME. If you enjoy doing CrossFit-type workouts, you will have all the equipment available to do it at this gym. The staff are very friendly and the manager is a great guy. The facility is maintained well and always looks clean. Genesis always has great deals going on for people looking to join. Overall, the price is very fair for a gym that is available 24 hours and has the amount of equipment and classes available. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The Genesis Health Club of Tara Plaza is a great gym with a wide variety of equipment and dumbbells so you can get a workout in without worrying about not being able to get to the things you need as long as it isn't peak times 4:30-5:30pm. On top of that they have a sauna and a steam room and they are doing renovations now to make the club even nicer. I would recommend it to anyway one willing to spend the money.

Fantastic experience: I love this club. I have had a mostly unused membership for a loooong time (injured myself). In late August I decided to get serious and began working with a trainer. Andrew has helped me with form and pushes me to work hard. And who wants to waste money? So I am now faithful to work out. I feel so much better. This club was recently remodeled and there are some stations that are actually fun! And the staff is great. :)

Fantastic experience: Ever since Genesis took over this gym (used to be 24-Hour Fitness), things have only improved. The locker room is way better, a large percentage of the equipment has been updated, the staff is very welcoming, and there's even a fancy waiting area with leather couches and a big-screen TV. Everything feels cleaner, more well taken care of, and more thoughtful.
