Fantastic experience: Great Gym great place to swim in the morning. The entire place is very friendly and clean. At times the place is very crowded but not as crowded as the rush. No contracts are a plus no maintenance fees are awesome and no pushy membership staff. We I joined there was no attempt to add anything at all to my membership. I also like the fact that my membership fee is helping a bigger cause. The last part that I really enjoy is that the west y is located in west hills park. As soon as it warms up I'll be walking in the park after my swims I love the local YMCA

Fantastic experience: Hi 5 to ETHAN, He is my son Lihan’s Swimming coach. He is so comfortable to my son that he started liking swimming so much. He is very patience in teaching. Absolutely an asset to the organization. Would recommend this YMCA to anyone for any activities you wanna take up.

Positive experience: Group swimming lessons were great, mainly because the indoor pool is very heated. In fact I would recommend you do lessons here in the winter just to get thawed out now and then if you live with people who like to keep the house cold. If you get bored, you can pretend to drown to check the lifeguard's reaction times. Those guys are pro. The results of their efforts? I am generally able to stay alive in water, forget style or efficiency. Before taking lessons here, the likely outcomes were either certain death or Divine intervention. So round of applause to the instructors for sure. If you're bored with the color of your swimwear, they are happy to help with that as well. After a few sessions in this pool, clothes that were black will fade to a great shade of gray. Love the taste of bleach and chlorine after a hard day. Nothing quite like it.

Fantastic experience: I'm from the Green Bay area and visited one day. Nice place, had a fun and good workout in the Saturday morning Zumba class.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very nice and the experience is marvelous! The outdoor pool is a great place because it's very clean and they even have a box for accessories like goggles and pool noodles if the kids need any which is awesome!

Fantastic experience: Nice outdoor pool. Could be a little cleaner and cooler. Only complaint is that there is no dedicated morning lap swim on weekends. Lifeguards and staff are very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I been going with a client for six months now it's a good place to go with gym and both pools and all would suggest for a family or mom they have child care and all.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication Been going to the ymca for the past 20 years. It's not the nicest ymca (probably average) compared to ones I've been to. Also the basketball competition isn't that great/organized from what I've seen so far. I'm bias tho so this gets 5 stars. Friendly staff too.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality Not only has the West Side Y rebuild the outdoor pool and build brand new locker rooms, they have recently resurfaced the indoor pool and added new lockers to the indoor locker room. It's wonderful! The new lockers are great. The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Beth at the front desk. This is a wonderful facility.

Fantastic experience: Childcare is excellent---plenty of space and things to keep kids of all ages busy. (My boys are 4, 7, 9 and 12). The pool temp is perfect. Lap lanes are really busy but open up frequently. Free swim area varies but has a ramp entry. Pickleball crowd is a mix of super nice people and a few not wild about newcomers. In Open gym there are 4 basketball hoops of varying heights. Outdoor pool is being remodelled for summer 2020. Fitness/karate classroom and exercise equipment are great.

Fantastic experience: I love my neighborhood Y! So many classes offered, from yoga, kickboxing and zumba to strength training and water aerobics. Something to fit any schedule or fitness level. There's also a workout space with your typical weights, elliptical machines and treadmills.I started working out about a year and a half ago and was pretty flabby. The staff is very encouraging and personal trainers are available to help you meet your fitness goals. I feel that I am well on my way to being healthier and am certainly less flabby now.Memberships are $50/month per person, $75/month for a family (3people). Student and reduced fee rates are available, as are scholarships. Just talk to someone at the front desk.Check out the list of classes online.

Fantastic experience: If you are a member - try the classes if you haven't. Drop in for nonmembers is only $8 too. Strength Train Together is my favorite.. great for people new to incorporating weights! Heather and Vicki are awesome.

Fantastic experience: My sister and I and our kids have been coming here for two years. It’s great!! We loved it before the renovations and now love it even more! So much room to work out and get a little mommy break. We can’t wait for the pool to open for the kids!! Everyone who works there is so great!

Fantastic experience: $50 a month for $600 a year a little pricey but worth every penny

Fantastic experience: This is one of the few places where you don't feel intimidated by the people who work out there. It is a family oriented gym. The child watch area has been updated and they are very good with watching the kids. The people who work at this Y are more than welcome to help you if you have any questions. It is a place where you definitely feel welcome!

Fantastic experience: I was camping in the Smokies and needed a shower. The nearby truck stops charge 9 dollars for a shower. YMCA charges only 8 dollars for a day pass. you can get a workout, swim, and get a shower here for a dollar less!

Fantastic experience: It is a maze if you've never been there. I couldnt find the gym area the first time I went. So clue. Find the basketball court and go up the stairs...

Fantastic experience: We have just joined as "Silver Sneakers" members. The Y staff was welcoming, personable and knowledgeable. It was such a joy getting a tour from Beth. She showed us every aspect of the Y and answered all of our questions. My wife and I are excited to get started and even more excited to start building friendships.

Fantastic experience: Lots of variety in the weight room and I've actually seen them all used. Neat classes. Good locker room with individual showers and soap.

Fantastic experience: We've loved our membership at the y this summer! Having childcare, swimming pools, and a super welcoming environment had given me confidence to work out regularly, even in my third trimester of pregnancy.

Fantastic experience: Decent machines, nice pools, great running track. There are tons of rec areas for basketball (indoor and outdoor) also both indoor and outdoor pool.

Fantastic experience: This is a family oriented facility. Great childcare center. Many workout machines. Lots of classes. Pools are old but they are building a new indoor pool this summer. Staff is friendly.

Fantastic experience: This is a great facility! The staff is very nice and helpful and the instructors are very good. I also feel like they are receptive to new ideas to make the place better and more up to date. I have two suggestions myself, one pretty easy and another, no so much. The first is to purchase a ping pong table. This could go maybe in the room downstairs next to the Yoga studio. The second is to install a sauna/steam room like they have at the downtown Y.

Fantastic experience: The gym is usually quiet, except for peak hours. Even then though, you are still going to be able to use whatever machine you want. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with nearly any question you may have. It has free WiFi and a basketball court too, if you don't just want to work out.

Fantastic experience: I love the YMCA. Has everything my family could want and I can catch a workout when I'm near another location.

Fantastic experience: I love coming here. If I could afford daycare I would love for my kids to come here. We visited the fall festival they had here. My kids loved it so much. They were so happy. If they have it again next year we will be there.

Fantastic experience: Workout equipment is all in one room. It has a good mix of people and decent music. It's never too crowded. They offer some classes. The pool is great. Near other outdoor activities.
