Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for 5 years and it just keeps getting better! You can walk in at any fitness level and immediately be welcomed into a friendly space where you’re supported and encouraged. They understand what’s it’s like to struggle with consistency, self doubt and all the other things that keep people out of gyms and are 100% non judgmental. Each class feels like a personal training session with the high level of hands on, individual support from each coach. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re looking for long term health, fitness, community and fun (yes fun at a gym, it actually happens!)

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere full of positive people. The team of coaches are top-notch and the programming makes for challenging yet rewarding workouts. They offer a wide variety of services to meet you where you’re at to reach your goals. Recently moved to the area and am happy to have found this gym!

Fantastic experience: I moved to Knoxville in 2021. I had major anxiety about visiting gyms since I knew I wanted a gym family, and not to just be a number. I hit the jackpot finding South Landing Fitness. Crissy, Shane, Maddie, Taino and Billy are different level kind and caring. Do yourself a favor and give SLF a try! You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: SLF has been my gym for about 1 year and has been a great experience. I never thought I would be one for group classes or early morning workouts, but I look forward to both several times a week now. The coaches are great and challenge you to improve whether you're a beginner or experienced. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: South Landing Fitness has a good variety of strength training with cardio, group and personal training options. The 1-hour in the gym will truly improve your other 23 hours of the day. The amazing coaches are willing to modify/scale any movement, if needed. They partner with amazing organizations like Survivor Fitness and Nourishing Our Needs and host community events as well. Highly recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: SLF has become my second home in the almost two years I've been a member here. The coaches make you feel completely comfortable and are incredibly helpful. I've made some of my best friends here as well. It's a great atmosphere to learn fitness and to have a great time while you're doing it! Truly love SLF!

Fantastic experience: I have been in Knoxville for about 5 years and have tried several gyms in attempts of finding the best fit for me and my season of life. I firmly believe you get what you pay for in every aspect of life - your health and wellness journey included!! One of the biggest challenges I had for years was feeling motivated, navigating workouts online, and being committed to actually go to the gym. SLF offers small (14 people & under) group training, small group personal training (individualized programming), and one-on-one personal training. Workouts are a mix of strength based and cardio training on cycle intervals. With this model, it is evident the coaches don't just do this for a paycheck. They are committed to you, committed to helping you, and committed to helping you be the best and healthiest version of you. I've been very impressed with the client-care relationship the coaches offer. I have also grown to love the community the gym offers: likeminded people with similar goals all in different stages of life. I'm a really proud member of this gym and have hit SO many health strides since joining!

Fantastic experience: I was maybe the very first member of this gym. A lot has changed over the last 6 years but there have been three constants. The classes feel like family, the coaches care about the people, the classes make you sweat. You couldn’t pay me to go to another gym

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism , Quality South Landing has been incredible for me! In just four months, I can feel and see the change in my body. SLF is the most welcoming community. Everyone is supportive and encouraging. The coaches work with you towards your specific goals and never try to force you into something you’re not. I LOVE IT!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending group classes at South Landing for the past 3 months and have nothing but good things to say! The coaches are friendly, welcoming, and truly want to see you excel and accomplish your goals. With such a knowledgeable staff, they are able to help make any workout just right for you with their focus on form and injury prevention. Fantastic experience: I have been going to South Landing for almost 2 years, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only do the coaches care about your health and fitness, but they make the effort to get to know you and learn about your life. The coaches emphasize safety and scaling workouts to your ability while still making the workout challenging. The members here are some of the nicest people I have ever met, and have become some of my closest friends. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of South Landing for about a year and a half, and I have to say that the coaches and members here are absolutely wonderful. After injuring myself several times while following programming from another box in town, I decided to make the switch to South Landing. It was also important to me to find a place where the coaches made their work a primary focus and not a side-hustle. Since coming to SLF, I’ve felt more confident in my abilities and have not suffered an injury, thanks mainly to the attention to detail from the coaches. The coaches here are amazingly educated about the mechanics of movement and actually meet clients where they are in terms of their abilities and previous health issues. The group training always includes an individualized approach for any particular needs or goals you might have without sacrificing the intended stimulus of the workout. From day-1, I've felt welcomed by all the members and I’m incredibly grateful for the friendships I’ve made here. I also love how the SLF approach to health includes mental and nutritional, as well as physical health.

Fantastic experience: South Landing is a great, welcoming place to get an amazing workout. All of the coaches at SLF care about you as a person and will adapt to any limitations that you have. They also realize that fitness is more than just time in the gym and will do whatever it takes to help you reach your goals inside (Or outside) of the gym! Highly recommend!

The coaches are very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. The workouts change daily and you will never do the same one twice. This gym has a very large "team" feel to it, which is so motivating. Fantastic experience: South Landing Fitness has quickly become my favorite gym in Knoxville. While there under the supervision of a motivating and knowledgeable staff I have been able to reach new levels of fitness. Coaches that truly care for you as an individual and an athlete make going to the gym something to look forward to. The facility is clean and easy to navigate. The workouts are fun yet challenging and can be modified depending on your needs. I look forward to spending many more years as a member at SLF.

Fantastic experience: The owners of South Landing and all the employees are top notch. When you walk in you automatically feel welcomed. In my past experience going to a gym for the first time has been intimidating but that wasn't my experience with South Landing. They actually partnered with a non-profit called Survivor Fitness which works with individuals who are in remission from cancer. South Landing helped me get my confidence back after going into remission from cancer. I am a member there and I love it! They have also provided top notch services through the COVID-19 pandemic and care very much about the safety and well-being of their clients. Even before the pandemic as well. They meet you where you at physically and safety is a priority for them. I appreciated that so much because I had never done Cross Fit prior to coming to South Landing. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new gym to call home.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful community of people. The staff are concerned first and foremost with safety and health. Yes, "CrossFit" is in the name. If that scares you, don't let it. (Trust me. I am a reformed coach potato.) This gym gets people of all shapes and sizes and walks of life engaging in healthy behaviors and hitting goals they didn't think were possible. Don't be scared. Be excited and come visit.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal coaches with an even better culture of respect, humility, excellence, and community. Shane and Crissy have done a wonderful job building and maintaining a box that is inviting to everyone regardless of fitness level. Every time I open the door, I know I'm going to be greeted by name, and encouraged by my coaches to push my own limits in a way that benefits my safety and health for the long-term. Fantastic experience: This is the best workout experience I've ever had. The workouts target all the different muscle groups. The trainers are extremely knowledgable about fitness and proper form. I'm a cancer survivor and participate in the THRIVE group for over 50s. The workouts are modified so that I get the most benefit based on my fitness level. It's also FUN! Chrissy and Shane promote community and activities for members. Great atmosphere, fun workouts and great people. This is my choice for best workout experience in Knoxville!

Fantastic experience: I have been doing CrossFit for over 3 years now, and from my experiences, South Landing is a one of a kind gym. Owners Shane and Crissy Glarrow are two of the most knowledgeable coaches in Knoxville, not just in terms of CrossFit, but in terms of overall health and wellness. Both owners have extensive experience in CrossFit, not only as coaches/owners, but also as athletes. They have created an environment that focuses on wholistically bettering yourself, while not treating fitness like a product. In my two years here, neither of them have ever compared me to another person or athlete, or used a different person’s fitness level as a goal for me. Rather, they individualize goals to suit their clients. South Landing also features other knowledgeable coaches Billy and Megh, who both (along with Shane) have their L2 coaching certifications. Every coach at South Landing emphasizes proper form above perceived performance. They will push you to your limits and improve you as an athlete, but they do so in a way that does not harm your body or overwork you. I believe this is why South Landing has a very small number of yearly injuries as opposed to other CrossFit gyms. They somehow maintain a hardworking, fun environment while simultaneously demanding an emphasis on safety. The price is very standard for a CrossFit gym, however, with how coaches put aside their own time to help clients with nutrition, overall well-being, and mental health, often times for free, I believe that it is well worth the value. Everyone on staff has done an unbelievable job creating the best environment possible for anyone looking to improve their lives.

Fantastic experience: This CF gym is very welcoming of ALL fitness levels and body types. I was always intimidated by the thought of going to a CF. After speaking with Crissy, and having my First Steps sessions, I knew that SLCF was gold quality! The trainers make sure that safety and mechanics are always properly executed. Aside from the logistics, the atmosphere is very community oriented. I totally recommend this CF!

Fantastic experience: I love SLCF! I never thought I was someone who would enjoy crossfit because I was intimidated by all the weightlifting but now I look forward to it everyday! The coaches along with all the members make it a fun place to be. They are able to modify the workouts to what works best for you and that's what I love about it. They offer a variety of group classes at different times during the day so that I can make it work with my work schedule. If you haven't stopped by, you realllly need to!!
