Fantastic experience: We love the Matt Griffin Y! Membership cost is reasonable and assistance is available for low income; and there are tons of free classes included with membership. Favorite group exercise instructors are Philomena T. and Deb K., both wonderful. Fitness room does get crowded at times, of course, like all gyms. Best at off-hours weekday early mornings and late evenings. We have never had a problem with cleanliness of the facility. We've had a family membership for four or five years, my elderly father even attends some of the senior classes with us.

Fantastic experience: Our family of 4 loves this YMCA! We have my son in private swim lessons with Kitnoi. She is a very caring and amazing teacher! We also enjoy the Kid’s Corner! The kids can play while we go work out.

Fantastic experience: I love the gym it's big enough for 2 full court games but I enjoy the Friday early Morning Adult games with my friends. They also have a great place for kids to have fun while the parents workout, volunteer, or have fun too.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy everything they have here. No Complaints Except The Hours Of child care sucks. Ours Only opened from 9:30a-1:30p and then 4p-8p what about for the parents that would like to work out from 1:30-4p!!?? Like I Do, I Love To Work Out In the middle of the afternoon before I have to go to work, especially on a rainy day but nope can't because there is no child care available.

Fantastic experience: I recently took advantage of the three month free membership. The enrolling process was quite simply, the staff at the front desk were very professional, the tour guild was quite knowledgeable. The thing that impressed me the most was the feeling of community. In light of what is happening in this country, this YMCA Foster's a feeling of strong community. I got a strong impression of inclusion for all. There is so much diversity here.

Fantastic experience: Used the pool and hot tub and family change rooms, the pool was cool in temp, hot tub was warm, and the change rooms were clean, the exhaust fans didn't work in room 4 and 5. Great staff and lifeguards

Fantastic experience: Totally functional gym. The basketball courts are usually filled with a mix of kids (8-16 or so), and the pool tends to be quite busy during peak hours (5:00-7:30 pm), but the rest of the gym tends to be pretty quiet. They offer a number of free classes (yoga, spin, Zumba, etc.). Machines are solid, though not great. Certainly not falling apart....I've been to many 24-hour/LA Fitness style places with worse equipment. Staff is generally nice enough (though the pool manager is a little odd), and overall the vibe is positive and family friendly. I approve of this gym!
