Fantastic experience: The child watch people are very helpful and friendly, basically my saving grace every week. Good variety of classes and they change up the schedule occasionally to keep things fresh.

Fantastic experience: I love this YMCA. Outdoor pool for lap swimming is nice and clean. Never an issue getting a lane during the day. For peace of mind, they always have life guards. Rest of facilities are nice and never crowded.

Fantastic experience: I love how upscale it feels at this Y and the upstairs studio where I usually take bodycombat. Although I switch between this location and Monty Ballard, since I live in between the two Y's, this one is definitely newer and nicer. Either way, I'm not super picky about my gym as long as I like my instructors and there are a variety of classes to choose from. I do have to say, you can't beat the price offers that the Y provides and the variety of classes offered for the price point is impressive. Thank you so much Y!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication The childcare for the children: the staff is very attentive and kind. The front desk has good communication: they smile and greet you and are knowledgeable about the programs going in. I enjoy their ZUMBA and cycling classes. The teachers are excellent.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been part of the YMCA family for a while now. We love how it has grown with her. Beautiful facilities and so much to offer. We do it all from after-school care, to in service camps, holiday camps, summer camps. We will be moving soon but plan to stay in the family. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a newer facility, with the same programs as other YMCAs that I've been to. People, especially Front Desk people, are very friendly. Gym and locker room, only places I've been using so far, are well maintained and managed, which makes family-play so fun and worthwhile.

Fantastic experience: First time there since the pandemic. I was there as a guest and enjoyed the Zumba class. I recommend it because the variety of classes they have all day. In addition the membership is low with no initiation fees. And the best is your membership include any YMCA in all the states.

Fantastic experience: I joined YMCA because of the water aerobics classes. The staff is the best I have ever encountered in any gym before. And, I have had memberships at "expensive" gyms before. Everyone from the staff, to instructors including the people at childcare are extremely professional and always ready to help or guide in any way. I love that everyone is always so bright and cheery. It all feels like one big family. I just wish that I had joined YMCA sooner.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to sign her up on a Wednesday morning. The staff who helped us were very friendly and answered all of our questions. It was quite busy, lots of people but not so crowded that it made it uncomfortable. There’s plenty of work out machines and classes to join. Clean and nice inside.

Fantastic experience: I've only gone to this Y for lap swimming, but I really love the pool! I haven't had any problems getting a lane, and I love that it's heated so I can use it year round.

Fantastic experience: We are members here and we love it. The variety of classes is great, the installation is awesome and so is the staff. I just wish there was some classes for preschoolers live gymnastics, dance or something.

Fantastic experience: Love this YMCA. Always friendly and welcoming staff. One of the cleaner Y’s I’ve been to. Has an ample amount of free weights, plenty of weigh machines and cardio equipment and many aerobic and yoga classes. Would recommend to family and friends for sure.

Fantastic experience: The staff is great. Facility is clean. Wish they would reduce the amount of time devoted to pickle ball and volleyball in the gym and let the kids play basketball more. Too often there are a few people on one court playing volleyball and 50 kids playing basketball on the other.

Fantastic experience: Love this facility. It's a year old and I've been going since March 2017. Great staff, instructors, child watch staff... my kids love playing there and I really enjoy it too. I do group classes, running, and swimming.

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful we found this Y. We have had such a positive experience here over the past year. I enjoy going to the classes, the instructors are warm and knowledgeable and my kids love the child watch. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, there is a real sense of community here, and the facility is always clean. I have never considered myself athletic, but there are classes, equipment and activities for all ages, abilities and bodies. My 5 year old takes a dance class here also, which has been worth every penny.

I'm a current employee at the YMCA at Katy Main Street, and I just want to clear up a few things in the reviews here. - For any interested, YES we have free Wi-Fi! Just like our Monty Ballard facility on Westheimer in Cinco Ranch, the internet is super-fast and the password is just our telephone number. - Also, the personal training studio/aerial yoga studio IS in fact available for all facility members to use, as long as there's not a private session or an aerial yoga class going on at that time. What I usually tell people who ask me, is that it's not just storage, you can use it as long as the space is empty! Of course, if you ever have questions or concerns about our facilities or what we offer here at our new YMCA, feel free to come right up to the front desk and ask our Welcome Center staff your questions! Thanks everyone for being a part of the Y Family!

Fantastic experience: It's a brand new facility with a wonderful staff. They have a Synergy 360* station/machine that is AWESOME !!! TJ , a personal trainer there is really great.. if you are a city wide member this facility is included with your membership. The second story views are amazing in the early morning hours.
