Fantastic experience: I am a mom and I have no previous experience in gymnastics. I first brought my kids to open gym and from it, they learned basic athletic coordination and balance, and the ability to listen to adults and follow through with commands. Now, they attend classes. They continue to develop more skills and appreciation for technique. One of the things I appreciate most here are the coaches patience with kids. Whether it’s the first month of gym or the child is extra wiggly that day, the coaches use positive techniques to encourage the kids to pay attention and follow directions. There have been days where my kids have been the source of distraction. Whether they end up focusing on the class or I take them away for a bit, the coaches encourage that the kids come back because it’s part of the learning process and the age. I encourage everyone to take their kids to gymnastics here. Lifelong skills are taught and the kids have fun doing it!
