Fantastic experience: One if not the best athletic club in the United States in my honest opinion. I absolutely love this place. I used to live in Lafayette about 14 years ago and I absolutely fell in love with this place. Try to ignore all the older men who dye their hair jet black so they can try to bed a fertile young Cajun woman. Just get your workout done and enjoy the facilities and you will truly love Reds.

The variety that is offered at Reds is insane from exercise, to food, to summer child activities can't go wrong with going to reds. Mr. Red.. THANK YOU! pssst (Don't tell)... when my kids were little my husband worked a 28/28. Once a hitch around the 14 day mark I would drop my twins off at daycare get a LARGE steak salad and eat dinner (alone) by the pool. Reds is truly an awesome place.

Fantastic experience: My daughter asked for a membership for her 16th birthday and she’s so happy, she’s literally there almost everyday. She’s met great people, been able to utilize the state of the art equipment and utilize the pools. The cold plunge pool has been so beneficial as she is a 3 sport varsity athlete and is very hard on her body with training.

Fantastic experience: Red's is the undisputed the best gym in Lafayette. They have basically every type of exercise equipment you can ask for, dedicated areas based on what you want to do, a separate women's only gym, multiple running tracks, two expansive weightlifting areas, two pools, lots of exercise/ training classes, a separate CrossFit gym, childcare, and even a bar/ lounge. There's also a basketball court, indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball courts, and of course racketball courts. I'm sure there's more that I'm not saying but you get all this for less than some anytime fitness memberships, so it's really a no-brainer to me.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They make efforts to greet everyone. The facility is huge and clean. There is something for everyone there, regardless of your fitness level.

Fantastic experience: Top notch gym with every activity that you can think of. Mr Red and all of his associates are friendly and knowledgeable. One thing that I would like to point out is that there is ample parking with oversized parking spaces so you don’t have to worry about your vehicle being dinged by other people’s vehicles.

Fantastic experience: Red's Gym! Everybody in Lafayette knows about this place! Founded by a body builder, Red, A gym he started in the1950s that's grown over time in to what's become an enormous club. The history is evident and adds to the unique atmosphere. Red to this day, in his older years walks the gym regularly to greet people. Tons of equipment laid out over multiple stories and includes features like a boxing ring, racquet ball courts, tons of tennis courts, multiple places to buy food or shakes and even a bar where you can catch a drink- It's got it all! As a visitor guest passes run steep at $15 a day, monthly membership is the more reasonable route. I WISH I had a gym like this where I live! Red's was such an great visit I had to buy a shirt to prove I came. - Worth it.

Fantastic experience: I love that there's a women's section with smaller machines! I'm 5'1 and some machines smallest settings still feel too big, but not in the women's section. 2 co-ed areas are available too, plus an entire cardio room. The variety of classes has allowed me to discover some things I like and some things I don't like. I really enjoy bodypump, which I had never heard of before. I had never tried a cycling class before and though it's not my favorite type of cardio the instructor Stacy St. Cyr was super attentive. She introduced herself at my first class and discussed my ankle injury and how to safely navigate the class. I felt like I was getting a little bit of personal training in a group class! The hot tub and cold plunge also helped a lot in my recovery from a nasty torn ligament. I believe it sped up healing but it without a doubt alleviated immediate pain. I guess that's why it's called a health club and not just a gym.

Fantastic experience: I finally made it up to Red's from New Orleans just to train here and check out the gym. It's legendary! Seriously one of the best gyms in the USA! Lafayette has something really special, they are so lucky to have this place!

Fantastic experience: This place is about community. I see the stereotypical scantily clad young fit person, but they are the minority. I also see old people, less fit people, individuals with disabilities, kids, Moms, business people carrying their gym bags and mostly just average normal people trying to improve themselves one day at a time. There is truly something here for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean facility with a very friendly staff! However you like to workout, you'll find it at Red's. They have great swimming, both indoor and out, as well as a therapeutic pool and large cold plunge. There is a very large family area with a kid's pool and lazy river and separate toddler splash area. Great aerobics, yoga, pilates, multiple gym areas, boxing ring and specialty athletic training. They are also have a tremendous tennis facility with indoor and outdoor courts. The outdoor courts have different surfaces to improve your game. It's a great place to get fit!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym. The nursery is great so you can enjoy a workout without worrying about your little ones. The facility is well maintained and has more than enough room so you are never waiting for machines. The pool area is great both for exercise and a fantastic retreat for the family. Has a lazy river splash pad, baby pool, water slide and indoor/outdoor lap pools.

Fantastic experience: I grew up at Red Lerille's. I've since lived in Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Geneva, Switzerland, and I still don't think you can find a better health facility anywhere. Since my family joined almost 38 years ago, Red's has stayed on top of workout trends, offering all the latest equipment and classes as well as staff to facilitate. He spares no expense in accommodating his loyal clients. At the same time, he remains true to the basics in terms of free weights, well maintained tracks and tennis courts, swimming pools, etc. Red's has something for everybody, including a very welcoming staff and community. It has always been and will continue to be home to me!

Fantastic experience: The best health club in Lafayette. There is a ton of things to do here. There is four weight rooms, including one for teens and another for women, there are two heated indoor pools, a heated outside pool, and a pool outside with a large slide, lazy river, and play area for little kids. There are racquetball courts, indoor tennis courts, plus outdoor clay tennis courts that are available. An outdoor track surrounds the tennis courts and has obstacles to train with, or you could use the indoor track that is above the large basketball court. There are men and women locker rooms to shower, each with saunas and very large hot tubs that are more like medium sized pools. There is also a large ice pool to soak your aches away. Free classes are also offered to members everyday and a great way to get motivated to get in shape. Red's has it all and for the price you get way more than any other offering in the area.

Fantastic experience: Reds is family run and owned. Red Lerille is there almost everyday greeting people! Reds has many different ways to get in your exercise! Free classes with your membership! I especially love the water aerobics and the awesome instructors! For parents with small children, there is a nursery and a wonderful children's pool and play area!
