Fantastic experience: I enjoy coming to Irsay Family YMCA. A nice clean environment and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Savannah is an oasis in a sandy sea of incompetence. I am grateful to whomever had the presence of mind to hire her. This location is clean and up-to-date as well.

Fantastic experience: This is a beautiful facility where the very diverse gathering of members enriches our welness experiences. We are free to honor Jesus' name in addition to any other faith leaders. Spirituality is included in wholistic goals for the programming, socialization and stress management methods. The aquatic facility is competive with all swimming venues. The inclusion of all ages enhances family experiences and the natural formation of friends who may become like family. I am grateful I only live 2 miles away!

Fantastic experience: I came the YMCA just to ask a few questions and if this would be a good fit for me. When approaching I walked up Sarah ask her I wanted info on the Y and classes she had me sit down gives me a sheet with every class and explain the details to what classes I was interested in, Sarah ask hey you want to go on a tour, we did that she explained the Wellness Training (EGYM) I was excited, after the tour I had up my mind to sign up and I really like this location. After I joined, Sarah helped me getting the appt on my phone so I could sigh up for the YMCA app, I'm not so fast with using a IPhone so she did it all for me, just her personality, her patience, knowledge I told her with the way she greeted me and was so infonational I'm signing up. Being in a environment that when you step in the door is a place I want to be....so I'm part of the IRSAY YMCA

Fantastic experience: They do have variety of activity and nice timing but I would like to see the jump rope rope that you turn with your hands and the kangaroo should jump classes

Fantastic experience: As a new member, I appreciated the offer of a free session with a personal trainer. I was asked my goals: build strength and flexibility. After some history and filling out a couple of forms, I was shown several exercises and machines to get started. The program allows flexibility with at least a 24 hour notice, too.

Fantastic experience: The process of getting a membership was fast and easy but the 15 minutes I spent signing up was a parking fee of five dollars yes five dollars so actually I'm pay more out of pocket but hey it's definitely worth it

Fantastic experience: Very clean space and has everything you could want for a gym. I love using one of the 3 courts for basketball, and also enjoy the hot tub and sauna. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Irsay Y is a beautiful facility. Conveniently located downtown with plenty of parking. Great trainers and support staff. Exceptionally clean. Fabulous locker rooms. Wonderful pool, sauna and hot tub. Multiple basketball courts. Huge weight room. Almost more like a private club feel than a traditional Y but at the very affordable Y cost.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate the child care. The people who work there are great and my kids love hanging out there. We also enjoy swimming lessons and the exercise area. Equipment is plentiful and in good condition.

Fantastic experience: Wow...Santa would you please put 3 memberships under my 1 1/2 ft Christmas Tree. I would love...love...love to experience some water aerobics sessions. My back, my knees and my arthritis in my hands would be much easier to manage. My joints are smiling already just thinking about it. Oh please Santa - SunShine Smiles \o/

Fantastic experience: My big phobia now is cleanliness and this place is very clean. I've had health problems and I'm new at working out. The staff was very helpful and patient with me and my silly questions.

Fantastic experience: I go to this gym just about every day during the week. They have very friendly staff. There is a good variety of equipment for both cardio and strength training. They have egym equipment as well as 3 basketball courts, classes, cycle rooms, activities and much more. They have a lap pool and program pool, a hot tub and a sauna. The showers and facilities are clean and well maintained.

Fantastic experience: I love the facility... It's beautiful, has lots of natural light, plenty of equipment machines, lots of stair steppers, good pool hours. I'm grateful for play and learn staff. They work hard, read books, do crafts, sing and dance, and keep the peace. It's not an easy job, I know! And I'm Very grateful for the no screens rule at play and learn!! Keep that up!!!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful facility, wonderful staff, and a great place to work on your health and wellness!

Fantastic experience: This is the most comprehensive YMCA I’ve been to. It’s big, modern, clean, and open. It can get busy in the early evening, as most gyms do, but the weight room and cardio area are large enough to accommodate a lot of people. You might just have to wait a minute for a bench or a barbell rack. The pool is big and the lap area is separated from the kids swim area which is nice.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful downtown fabulous facility. A very knowledgeable plus pools, suana, hot tub, b-ball courts, full workout gym locker rooms plus an indoor track for working out and snack/juice bar to get ya refresh on. Price friendly memberships. Become a member ASAP!! Lol for real though! Just a thought.

Fantastic experience: I joined this YMCA about a year ago. It has an indoor walking/running track and all of the other health club fitness machines that you would expect in an upscale club. They have a pool and steam room. There are lockers to secure your personal items while you are working out. This is a very great location in an up and coming section of downtown Indy. I get a Veterans rate so it is very affordable and well worth the money to belong.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful Y in a great downtown location!! The lap pool has a 4 dedicated lanes open all the time (double check but that was my experience). Highly recommend this location. The parking lot is closed and the public has to pay, but members (and away members like me) can get a validation pass.

Fantastic experience: This place is so nice they have 2 swimming pools and a hot tub its great! I also love going to classes like yoga and bodypump.

Fantastic experience: My review primarily is focused on the Play & Learn program (child care). I never have had a problem, never a concern with safety or cleanliness, always a smile when greated, and my child enjoys the interactions. I especially want to review Ms. Kelsey who works at the Play & Learn (also in Kids Night Out) who gives each child individual attention and makes all kids feel welcome and safe! 5 stars for her dedication and patience.

Fantastic experience: Large facility. Lots of room for activities. Reasonable hours of business. Weightlifting area has a deadlift platform. 2 power racks. 1 Smith Machine. Dumbbell row with obligatory wall mirror. Plenty of cardio equipment. Parking is free as well, which is great for being downtown.

Fantastic experience: Glad to have a great new YMCA downtown. 2 hours free parking, great pool and basketball courts, and the track above them all stand out. All the staff are helpful and the facilities are well maintained. The diverse class selection is great too.

Fantastic experience: I love how much equipment they have and everyone is friendly! The group workouts and the instructors are great!

Fantastic experience: It's a nice, clean gym with all the amenities of a club. Even in the evening you find the equipment you need and get a solid workout it. I've taken two yoga classes there and both instructors were great, although one was late to class. The locker rooms and showers are always clean and they provide towels for those who do not like to carry in their own.
