Equinox Hudson Yards

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful and relaxing experience at Equinox spa! They have a beautiful facility and super friendly group of staff and therapists. Jenny, Mariah, Jonah, Tenzin, Asia, and John were so lovely and welcoming. We got to experience cryotherapy for the first time and immediately felt the benefits of it. We were energized for the rest of the day with no more muscle pain. Highly recommend the spa at equinox and will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: My favorite hotel in NYC so far. The service is warm. Requesting items-arrives within 5 min! The inside and all equipments are very new and clean. I wish to try the spa next time. Would also try the equinox gym and the swimming pool next time (sad that I didn’t bring appropriate gym fit this time).

Fantastic experience: The staff, equipment, and facilities are all the best I’ve experienced at any public gym in my life. My only caveat is that during peak hours it can still get congested in the weight room, even given the hefty price tag.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE/Luv/ this place. It's clean and the equipment is updated and the absolute best part of the club is the pool (the staff at the pool) and the adjoining restaurant; the Broken Coconut. The scene is great, the food is amazing and the staff at the pool are always soooooo kind and courteous and super helpful. The place gets packed and the pool staff is under a lot of pressure. A few people that deserve special recognition at the pool ‍ are Ashley Gonzalez-Quiles, Emely and Yaslene and their AGM Julieth. It's not easy working the pool. Members are often rude and obnoxious when being asked to share lounge chairs and it gets quite contentious. But Ashley and the others are always professional and fair and patient. They all are nice reflections of their superiors and the Equinox brand. They deserve recognition for the job they do.

Fantastic experience: Mannn! What a vibe. Let’s talk about pulling up to the front with my car. Thought it was going to be an issue since I am a equinox member in another location. But not a problem at all. I was greeting by Devon I believe his name was and will. Both gentlemen greeting me and explain what it would cost to park VIP right in front and know one will go in my car until I get back. Honestly with nyc and it’s traffic, you wanna save as much time to get your car and go when your ready. So parking up front cost $80 in cash so make sure to have some up front. I handed them my keys and he escorted me to the gym and gave me a water bottle. Checking in wasn’t the smoothest, however it was fine and I was able to access all the gym features. Since I do not go there they a charge me $100 bucks. It’s all good, I deff got my Monroe’s worth for all that I was able to experience. The gym was nice,clean and modern. Lots of benches and new equipment I haven’t seen in my home gym. I went upstairs to experience the pool rooftop and boy it was super cool. They even had a cold plunge that really made me excited to here them have. I was in and out in 2 hours time just on time to get my truck and it was right where I left it. The staff walked me to my truck with another water bottle and that was my experience yesterday. I can not wait to spend the day here with my wife and we can make a day out of it. Thank again equinox!

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve been to in New York. Two swimming pools, one outdoors with a view and one indoors with a hot tub for all genders and a cold tub. The gym itself has all great machines, including my favourite elliptical Oculus. Love the lobby to read and relax.

Fantastic experience: I haven't visited too many equinox yet but this one is my favorite in NYC so far but I must confess that my favorite so is the Brickell Heights in Miami which I could had access to due to my destination membership. Equinox Hudson Yards has nice spaces and nice people, rooftop and indoor pool, sauna, wet room, comfortable lounge, and a restaurant/bar. I'd say everything that you need to have a productive day.

Fantastic experience: Literally what can I say? I would say it is THE best location of any Equinox locations in the city. And probably the country. Definitely clean. Spacious. And just the entire gym is the best you can get for a little over $300/month. Honestly for that much money, not only are you getting access to THIS location but basically to any location in the country so for a person who lives in a big city like New York, going for the Destination Access membership is definitely a steal. This location is definitely my favorite location! Just wish it was a little closer to midtown but it's worth the commute!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and refined gym. You definitely get what you pay for here. The quality of machines are great, locker rooms are very clean, Pool and studios are spotless. It's the best investment I have made in my time here in NYC. I enjoy all the classes and the staff are all hardworking and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Such a nice gym with a lot of space. Inside pool is pretty big and jacuzzi by the pool is sooo nice. Rooftop pool supposed to be heated, but for me it was too cold, so I preferred to stay in the sauna and enjoy a nice view of Vessel from the small wooden sauna on the roof ☺️

Fantastic experience: What a nice gym! Outside & inside pool, great set up of the equipment in the main fitness area. Steam cabin and sauna in the locker rooms and sauna cabins outside with a great view. It felt more like a spa day instead a regular Monday morning workout.

Fantastic experience: What's not to love about this spot? Beautiful facility, great variety of classes, all equipment is top-notch and staff members remember you by name! Love using the outdoor spa here (see pics), it was a catch that got me in the first place - I saw these beautiful saunas from top of the Vessel while it was still open :) Huge Thank You to front desk ladies Kara and Taylor who are always very nice and greet you with a smile, and a huge shout out to Robert - the best yoga instructor ever! His sessions always fly by too fast! Wish we had more sessions with him at this location. Overall - highly recommend! Fantastic experience: Beautiful club with great amenities, facilities and classes. I’ve been a member of Equinox since 2017 and joined the Hudson Yards Club in 2019. This is the nicest club in the franchise with two pools, multiple spaces for group classes, spin and fantastic views of the Vessel from the weight room. The locker room is very clean and constantly being cleaned; Kiel’s products, steam room and sauna. The staff and instructors are superior to that of any other gym. If you work out and attend classes regularly, it’s definitely worth the cost. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: The staff was hands down AMAZING! We only stayed for two days and they truly made us feel at home! TJ, Alliana, Kevin, Robbie, and Dan are some memorable names and interactions! There were many more, just didn’t get the names—however—all so accommodating and warm! Don’t get me started with what I call the ‘Shower Power’ in the room...lol! Everything was clean, comfortable, and the VIEW! Food was amazing at the Electric Lemon and room service for breakfast was excellent! Every space of the hotel is immaculate...This is a place where you go for a true experience! Next time we’ll try out more of the amenities for sure! We will absolutely go back to stay at this destination no matter what our purpose/business is in the city. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: Love this location - lots of natural light and amenities. That being said, the gym floor is a bit small compared to other locations and it’s a popular gym, so avoid going at peak hours, when it can be very hard to socially distance or find available equipment.

Fantastic experience: All I gotta say is WOW.... I was blown away the first time I stepped into this equinox. It has to be the most luxurious gym I've ever been to. This gym has everything you could want- my favorite part is the rooftop pool overlooking the vessel and the rest of Hudson yards. It's a breathtaking view. There's a ton of lounge chairs on the other side of the rooftop as well if you want to just relax without getting wet. The actual fitness floor is huge and has all the machines and free weights you could ever want. There's a ton of super high tech cardio equipment as well. I do wish they had more stair climbers because 3 isn't enough. Every inch of the building from the lobby to the stairs to the locker room has been carefully designed to have that luxury touch. If you workout in the evenings on a sunny day, you can catch a beautiful sunset through the floor to ceiling glass. I feel like this equinox has to be one of the best gyms in the world.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. Everything is beautiful and incredibly clean. Their classes are lead by wonderful instructors. The change rooms are spotless. In the summer, the outdoor pool deck is an amazing place to hang! I recommend this gym to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at the hotel last week. Had such a great experience. The rooms are huge and the amenities are awesome. Being able to rent workout clothes was clutch. I like the health and wellness focus of the hotel. Would stay again.

Fantastic experience: Best location out there. Destination membership required. Gym isn’t too busy (yet, it’ll get there, just wait). Upstairs pool is a bit too much of a party scene but you can find a nook to read and relax. Great well thoughtful placement of everything upstairs and downstairs. Staff is awesome too.

Fantastic experience: This is one of my favorite locations. It is just straight up unique with amazing views. They just opened so you can expect some hick ups but other then that I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: This destination gym is as fancy as it gets. It has everything your soul desires - even a restaurant on the top floor. The pool does get crowded so you gotta slide in there and make friends on a hot day The gym amenities are great too, inside pool is a treat. Their yoga room is photoshoot-ready with all the views over the neighbouring Manhattan. With a heavy heart (bc we don't want it to get overcrowded ), we highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’m welcoming Equinox HY. Regardless of what others say especially negative ones, not only I don’t really care what others think but as long as my family is happy at Equinox HY then that’s all it matters. This club has all the amenities you need to get healthy and maintain it. No other clubs offer what Equinox offers, period. So it’s up to each individual to fully take advantage of them. There is no perfect gym and you get for what you pay for. Even here there are dirty, uneducated, unmannered & disgusting scums with the worst attitude. These people leave their smelly and disgusting sneakers along with the sweat soaked clothes out on the floor while they take shower. When they are given a huge lounge to enjoy- yet - they stay in the locker room to check and reply emails & do all that social stuff while others are trying to get by to use the already cramped locker rooms. It’s always ‘people’ and it’s the same no matter where you go. And these are the ones asking for respect from the staff. You want respect from the staff? Earn it. It’s simple. The bottom line is, I am just happy to have a health club not too far away from my house. Because for my family, the Equinox isn't a place to brag about the wealth, status or show-off how much suntan people get from the outdoor sun deck, etc. blah blah blah. For us - it’s a lifesaver, we work out to live a healthy long life and so far the Equinox has been providing the tools and it always will. Last but not least, I double dare anyone who wrote and will write about the GM of the club. I am the living proof of the excellency and highest management under this GM for the club previously. After all, no one becomes the 100th club’s GM at this high profile location. Before you criticize, why don’t you establish close rapport first? After all, there will be still plenty of time for haters to hate no matter what. Stop working out your mouth and start working out your mind and soul.
