Fantastic experience: This is an awesome facility with an awesome staff! They are all super friendly, knowledgable and chill. What else could you ask for? The routes are changed often. This provides new problems just about the time you're done with your last project. It never gets boring. There are events going on often and gym is very involved with the local community.

Fantastic experience: Great gym that updates problems regularly in an awesome historic building. Staff is friendly and helpful and the new bouldering section is really cool. I have been a member almost as long as they have been open and plan to continue my membership until my fingers fall off.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff make you feel very welcome. Routes and problems are excellent and refreshed regularly. The rope-climbing pit could be a little bigger, but the bouldering wall stretches all the way down and around the interior thanks to a recent expansion. Located downtown in a historic industrial building with chill lighting and fresh music, The Front offers an atmosphere that's tough to beat.

Fantastic experience: Great indoor climbing gym. Clean facility. Lots of variety of skill. Larger bouldering area, top rope, and lead climbing areas. Facility as good variety of exercise equipment, weights, etc. Also, offers yoga, fitness classes.

Fantastic experience: Went to watch my husband and his friend climb today and had my service dog with me. I was stopped at the door and asked the appropriate Ada questions! Really appreciate that they had that knowledge. We enjoyed our time here!

Fantastic experience: Ogden Front is well based. Mostly featuring it's large bouldering area. So many problems to work through. Excellent route setting. The lead area and top rope area in the pit are also well planned. What an overhang! Bring your friends and enjoy the day climbing.

Fantastic experience: This is a great climbing gym. We have been climbing here for years and always enjoy the friendly and helpful staff. It is a great community and there are a lot of great options other than just climbing (fitness area, yoga, TRX classes, etc). There is a decent sized top rope/lead area and a huge bolder wall.

Fantastic experience: We just took the lead climbing with the ogden staff. They pulled out all the stops. Answered all of my limitless questions with a smile.

Fantastic experience: The staff are absolutely incredible. Kind, good vibes, and easy to talk to. The rope walls are relatively short compared to the SLC locations but route setting is excellent, the location is unique, vibes are great all the time, and, if you’re an endurance person, running laps is easy here! Bouldering area keeps you busy with varying wall angles and again killer route setting. This place was my second home from the time I started climbing in October of 2020 until moving down to St. George for school. “Welcome to the Club”

Positive experience: Lots of overhanging sections on the bouldering with limited variety. Great locker rooms, showers and selection in their gear store

Fantastic experience: Took a Learn to Lead class with Gus. Gus was fantastic, very knowledgeable and great with working with multiple participants of varying degrees of ability.

Fantastic experience: One of my favorite climbing gyms! Lots of great bouldering problems - good variety/difficulty and a friendly community. They have a very solid training area that includes everything for your basic cardio/strength programs- the piano is a charming and quirky addition too! I also just love all the natural light that comes into this place - it really enhances the overall experience. There's an awesome cozy lounge with free wifi and facing some beautiful mountains. I had such a pleasant and therapeutic session climbing! I wish this could be my home gym - if I am ever passing through Ogden/SLC, I'll definitely come back here!

Fantastic experience: I took a top rope class and the person that helped my husband and I, was very helpful. It was our first time and he had very good advice! I was worried to go because of some of the negative reviews about the workers being rude but that was opposite from our experience. They were so kind, and it was 100% worth the money. I will definitely keep going back!

Fantastic experience: My family loves this gym! We all do different things (top rope climbing vs bouldering vs free weight exercising... and the yoga classes will be on our list after Covid when we have sitters for the kids ) There is just a great vibe, and I am happy my kids will grow up making memories here.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolute blast today at Front Climbing Club Ogden! I knew it was going to be great right from the get-go, as I was greeted by Parker and Ash at the front desk. They were super helpful getting me comfortable with the gym and it's bouldering system, along with being super cool about further explaining climbing nuances and terminology. I have limited experience, but I thought Front had tons of variety in climbs (I only bouldered and I'm a beginner) and the client community was amazing. I met several individuals and families that were more than willing to share some tips or beta when I inquired with them. Thanks for an awesome vacation experience!

Fantastic experience: Great gym for a great pump! The routes get reset just often enough that you dont get bored, but not too often where you miss too many projects that you were working on. They keep the bathrooms super clean and the staff is super helpful. 10/10

Fantastic experience: This is your sign to start rock climbing. The Front is an incredible place for people of all experience levels (and ages!!!) to come together and climb. My husband and I first went in with zero knowledge a few months ago, but with the training and encouragement of the extremely skilled staff, we now frequent the gym and have all of our own gear. The gym does offer harness and shoe rentals for those that are not inclined to purchase their own gear, and there is a small gym and a huge bouldering section where you can just come as you are! I would say I live a low fitness/high sedentary lifestyle, so I was scared that I wouldnt be strong enough to do anything, but there is enough variation on the walls and throughout the gym that I can still do a lot of climbing. My husband is highly active, low sedentary lifestyle and the gym provides plenty of challenge for him. They change the walls every few months too so you never have the opportunity to get bored.

Fantastic experience: If you live for rock climbing and you want to get stronger in spirit/mind/body the Front offers all of that plus more. If your beginner then get ready for an amazing time. The staff is amazing! It is sanitary, they are doing a great job of taking care of the massive facility. Be open minded and come climb the wall, you will come back. I promise.

Fantastic experience: Really good staff, super helpful and friendly. Lots of bouldering and the best pads to fall on. Holds are cleaned regularly and building is clean and managed well. Weights and the training room so you don’t have to go to a separate gym. Awesome campus board and really fun people to bond and climb with. The Front is hands down the only climbing gym worth mentioning in Ogden.

Fantastic experience: This is one of my favorite places in the world to spend time! The staff are awesome, friendly, helpful, and super encouraging. The atmosphere is great, and there are always lots of cool people to climb with. I feel super lucky to have access to this facility. It really is cool that these places exist because they make fun and challenging climbing super accessible year round. They also take a lot of care to make sure their facilities are always in top notch condition. They set new sections of wall every week and between the 3 gyms there is more variety than you can keep up with, so you will never get bored. My family and I spend a lot of hours every week at the various gyms, it really is an awesome way to spend time together. The kids love it, and climbing is a great hobby to share with them. I Can't say enough about how much I love The Front, it is an exceptional local company!

Fantastic experience: Kinda disappointed i couldn't use my ATC but they were really nice and let me use on one of there Gregory no charge I will bring mine next time for shore glad I chose the front for my membership this year good job guys

Fantastic experience: I went in to try on some shoes that they had on sale and had a wonderful experience. Ben (the guy who was working the front desk) was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Got me all nice and fitted with my new climbing shoes. Also they have the sickest bouldering wall I have ever been on. Great atmosphere. I will definitely climb here again next time I am in Ogden.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. Great staff, great facility, fun for the whole family. Climbing is a fun full body workout and the friendly knowledgeable staff will set up with all the lessons and gear you need to get started. The rope walls and boulder have many different routs for many different skill levels that change regularly and they have some nice exercise equipment too.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I have been attending this gym for almost two years. They have a huge amount of bouldering compared to the gym we used to go to. They put in a moon board a few months ago and my boyfriend gets great use out of it. The climbing atmosphere throughout is very encouraging to all levels. The yoga teachers are awesome! The classes I've been to are very accessible to beginners and additional levels of difficulty are often added to allow more advanced students to challenge themselves. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: My experience here at The Front in Ogden has been exceptional. The management and staff are very friendly and personable—moreso than any other gym I’ve been to. Also, it’s just a really great atmosphere. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for all levels of climbers. They have classes ranging from beginner climbing and belaying all the way up to anchor building and lead climbing. Great atmosphere, nice staff, and the routes are changed often. Warning: climbing is addicting! You may find that it begins to take over your life (in a good way). Come have some fun.
