Fantastic experience: Been a member for over a year now and it's a great place to work out. Gym is clean and well maintained regardless of when or what time I go. Friendly front desk just ask for Isaiah! Could have a better family plan though not going to lie. Besides that I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Awesome staff, good hours, lots of space, and every piece of equipment you can think of. Everything is organized in accordance with different muscle groups. Basically unlimited options. They even have a clothing line and supplement shop. Love it here and definitely plan on staying!!

Fantastic experience: My best friend and I traveled to Hickory for a couple of days. We researched local gyms in the area and found Xcel Fitness (ironically, we own a gym in Mooreville, MS called Excel Fitness). We were blown away just from pulling in the GIANT parking lot as well as from seeing the GIANT facility. We walked in and were greeted by Mike who is also the owner. He was extremely friendly and was more than willing to answer any business related questions we had. He gave us a tour of the facility which was absolutely mind blowing. The equipment was top notch, the atmosphere was super chill with no members seeming to be rude or overly loud. There was plenty of space for everyone and the music was adjusted perfectly where you didn’t have to scream to be heard. We also met Isaiah ( sorry if it’s spelled wrong) on our way out and his upbeat energy matched Mike’s perfectly. Every member that walked in/out was greeted and/or told to have a great evening. As a gym owner, I can say this place is what I hope is in store for our future at Excel Fitness in MS.

Fantastic experience: Woman at the front was phenomenal, came in looking to get information on the place. She walked me around and showed me all the different equipment they had to offer, the price was perfect and the times of availability are great too. A few people working out even came up to greet me, however they mentioned someone named king mike a few times, i guess he’s the biggest guy around there? Needless to say i’ll be coming here for a good while!

Positive experience: I’m really impressed of this gym. It’s ok cheap there so much to do here. Very spacious and they even have weekly programs where people come to weight loss activities. I haven’t taken advantage of that, still weak so hitting the machines for now. One thing they can improve on is the air circulation on the other side of the work out room. It can get very sweaty smelly lol. You know everyone got a good workout for sure.

Fantastic experience: Xcel Fitness is definitely the best gym in all of hickory. The price is perfect and it has everything you need and more. Everyone is really nice and friendly as well. I read some of the bad reviews and they are so dumb. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This is the best gym by far. I’ve shopped around a bunch and I’m glad I found this place.

Since then the owner had reached out and really done everything he could to rectify the situation. It really reflected how committed they are to making things right. I think as I said in my review it truly was just a bad day Definitely recommend them as solving issues is what good service is all about

They have so many amazing opportunities for classes and learning. I would recommend this gym to anyone. If you are feeling shy or a little self conscious this place is the place to go. I have lost over 25 pounds since beginning here, and I could not of done it without them. Fantastic experience: I have worked out at many different fitness facilities and this one ranks at the top. I went for my first visit yesterday and was so impressed that I joined the same day. I went at the "normal" peak time for a gym and there was plenty of equipment open for us. The area is very spacious and there are too many machines to count. The class I attended was wonderful. The atmosphere is very relaxed an you can tell that people are there to work out. The cost is great and the owner is very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym, LOVE Mike and the staff, everyone is really friendly. I dont feel like I am being judged or in competition with other people like I do at the other gyms in the area. A great blend of people who train hardcore and people who are just getting started and want to lose weight, not to mention they have a lot of equipment so you dont have to wait for anything. Parking a plus as well.

Mike went out of his way to make sure I knew about the classes offered, the personal training options and even put together a diet for me to help me achieve my goals! He truly cares about each member of his gym, and each time I leave I am more motivated to do more and work harder! I would recommend this gym to everyone!

They also have a lot of different fitness classes throughout the day which are great! Finally, if you're looking for a trainer, Lance is awesome!!

Best equipment, classes, atmosphere and management. I live for their boxing and hiit classes. Most knowledgeable and approachable trainers. Love it!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Tons of equipment, lots of space, great classes and tons of parking! Mike and the trainers have been awesome to work with. I attend the noon classes on my lunch break, and couldn't be happier!

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a huge parking lot. Lots of free weights, along with every machine you could want to use. Large space with cardio machines and an area where you can do free workouts. Mike and the other trainers will make you feel at home and will always be there to answer questions you have.

Fantastic experience: Went with my youth leader a couple of times and loved it. Going to start going on my own everyday after school to see some real results, sketch out a new me, and build up the confidence to do anything I set my mind to do without worrying about my gut getting in the way of it. Come here and eat right and you will be the real you in no time.
