Onelife Fitness - Reston

Fantastic experience: Reston S&H has had a face lift if you haven't been there recently. It's not lavish but who needs lavish to get a good workout. Their staff is always friendly, very knowledgeable whether they are trainers or class instructors. I've done everything from personal trainer to TNT to group classes and have found all of it to be excellent. I'm 40 pounds lighter than when a friend first introduced me to a zumba class there which was so much fun that before I knew it I was in hook, line and sinker. Couldn't be happier. Jane

Fantastic experience: Front desk couldn't be nicer. Large variety of classes with good instructors. Club is undergoing a total renovation (all new equipment, revamped locker rooms) that is slated to be finished in the next week. When I used my guest pass, no one bugged me (or even approached me) about joining except via email. Unlike other clubs, where I have had sales people shadow me each time I came in with a guest pass. A Lifetime Fitness club is coming to Reston, and, I imagine, will have larger facilities. At the same time, the price will be much higher than the great rate they gave me. My opinion? If I don't NEED a pool or racquetball courts -- why pay for them? I highly recommend this club.

Fantastic experience: The employees really care and are always kind to the customers - even on those early mornings when I'm sure it would be better to hide in a cup of coffee. I want to give a special commendation to the employees who are ALWAYS wiping down equipment, cleaning surfaces, and even vacuuming behind gym-goers. Seriously, who does that?! It took me a while to venture back into gyms following COVID, but the team at Onelife Reston has never left me feeling uneasy about my decision to return. They are truly a notch above. I'd also like to note that the culture at this gym is strong. The gym-goers are courteous of each other, and the clients are clearly serious about health and wellness. It's a diverse crowd with guys lifting more than I could ever dream as well as folks who might be venturing into the gym for the first time. Again, the culture is strong, and the people are kind and courteous. All are made to feel welcome at this gym, and I am constantly recommending it to those I know in the market for a new place to workout.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym! It has pretty much everything you're looking for - free weights, treadmills, bicycles, circuit training equipment, and great (FREE) fitness classes - LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM - yoga, spin, Tabata, etc. The staff, the members, fitness instructors, and personal trainers are really friendly (and live and breathe fitness)! I was a member for 18 years and very sad to leave, due to a move. :( Thanks for a great experience at Onelife! Stay well!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this club since it opened.. I have also used many other Fitness type clubs when I travel and I have never seen a club as well maintained, with super friendly staff and is so amazingly clean! At all times of the day and night the cleaning staff are in attendance, busy scrubbing away! I have had no fear during these Covid times because of the cleanliness, the attention to making sure everyone keeps their distance and making sure everybody wears a mask and has no temperature when entering. I love this club! Great job!

Fantastic experience: The staff are OneLife are fantastic, they have been extremely responsible to make the gym a possibility and a safe experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. They always go out of their way to talk to you and know you you on a first name basis, even though there is a large number of members. There is cleaning supplies spread throughput the gym along with an air filtration system. There is a great variety of offerings such as squat racks, weights, smith machines, cardio machines, a jungle gym, cables, and plenty of others. There is also a large space outback with a jungle gym and plenty of open space to flip tires or do sled push. When joining, you get a free body scan and a complementary personal training session. I must add that the trainers are also fantastic and really put you through a great workout!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality Professional, helpful staff will help you or leave you alone, whichever you prefer. Modern, clean equipment. Locker rooms are large and clean. The cleaning people have been there for years and are outstanding. The background music does not cater to old people, but is not too loud. It’s a nice well-run place.

Fantastic experience: This is my last month at OneLife due to relocating for a job - and I’m going to miss it! Having been a member at many gyms over the year - Chris and his team at OneLife have been by far the best. From getting me registered during the COVID-19 pandemic, to all the services they’ve offered - I’ve been shocked at how great a gym this is. OneLife also has a wide variety of equipment, and it’s NEW and ALWAYS maintained! There hasn’t ever been a hindrance to my physical fitness at this gym - I actually look forward to the gym! For the price, location, and the amazing staff - you can’t find anywhere better. Take a chance and give em a visit! Thank you OneLife!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so kind and engaging and dedicated to improving my challenging fitness level. They even went above and beyond recently when I lost my car keys. GM and trainers (including Cat) took the time to check the security tape which showed me walking out with the keys, and Trainer Sam (who said this was one of his talents) found them outside the next morning. Also the gentleman who cleans the gym looked through every trash can. I very much appreciate everyone going above and beyond during their very busy schedules to help me with a personal problem. Fantastic experience: The staff seems so happy and they make you feel like family. When you come in they smile and greet you and when you leave they make a point to say bye. Whether you go to the gym to get in shape, stay healthy, body build, or power lift, this gym makes you feel welcome. As a frequent gym rat that’s been to many gyms over the years, I highly recommend this spot.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Onelife Fitness for over one year and many gyms in the past. This gym excels in all the characteristics I seek, and I plan to belong to it throughout the time I live in the area. My original review exceeded the character limit, but my summary is that Onelife Fitness in Reston offers the equipment, facilities, staff, COVID-19 precautions, clientele, and business practices that gym-goers desire at a fee that is an absolute steal. I cannot recommend it highly enough for both seasoned fitness enthusiasts and individuals who have just begun their journey towards a happier and healthier lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: Onelife has been my second home the last year. They have the equipment to get the job done and it is well kept. The staff are incredible. The training Elie and Thomas provide is world class and Mrs. Katie by the front door is incredibly welcoming and always inspiring me to keep chasing my fitness goals. Without the three of them I would probably exchange my membership for a subscription to Papa Johns and Netflix.

Fantastic experience: I go back and forth between One Life and Sport & Health Worldgate depending on my work schedule. I love both gyms! The class times are so accommodating for any busy schedule and there are so many classes to choose from so your fitness goals can be obtained. The instructors are amazing and so is the rest of the staff. You are always greeted with a smile! If you're looking for a great place to stay healthy without breaking the bank then I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member now for about 8 months +/-. I like that this gym is conveniently located for me, but more than that it has a great mix of free weights and machines, and tons of floor space and equipment. (unlike other gyms which seem to have overloaded on either free weights or machines.) The gym is also clean and the staff is always friendly. For an affordable gym in the Reston area, this is a great place.

Fantastic experience: I was in town for a week in business and needed a full gym to work out in and not the hotel gym. I found OneLife on Google and called them up and then went in to buy a week pass. No pressure to join, no unnecessary administrative stuff, just a welcoming staff and a great facility. I will DEFINITELY come back to OneLife next time I come to town!

Fantastic experience: Out of all the gyms I've ever been to Onelife Fitness is by far the best gym for the price. Not a lot of bells in whistles just a focus on good service and good equipment for a good price. They also have a great group fitness schedule with a lot of variety and quality teachers. Oneife had a very welcoming environment!

Fantastic experience: Both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here with this gym. The staff has always been super welcoming and helpful. The play area for my toddler was wonderful. He always had a great time and loved saying hello and goodbye to all the staff coming in and out. The instructors for classes are also excellent. We are sad to be moving out of state. Fantastic experience: It obviously bought out another company with their older equipment. I'm used to the homegrown from scratch huge onelifes like Alexandria, Burke, Newport News and this is nothing like those. Older isnt always bad. The free weights weren't crowded, the machines hit muscle groups I didn't get with my regular routines and I got just as good a workout in less time. There is also many running trails right outside the gym for a pre or post run. I'm thankful for them finding a spot in Reston. Its another option for people that travel around the DMV area for work. You could always pay the ridiculous cost of Gold's up the street.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for over a decade and it just gets better. Nice staff, quality equipment, I love my trainer Lisa, and my zumba class. It's so convenient to my Reston home and reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member at this gym for about two years with a short time off in the middle. I really love this gym as they have a lot of equipment and offer all kinds of classes included in the membership. The staff is really nice and friendly. I have been helped by Chris Francis all along. He is attentive and will do his best to make sure you are getting the most out of the gym. Awesome place to work out!

Plenty of equipment to use for any type of workout and so that no matter the time you come in there's always something open for you to use.Trainers are very knowledgeable and are ready to help you meet your fitness and life goals. Price was amazing for someone looking to lift heavy and come in 5-6 times a week. I've had 4 of my friends join me and sign up at Onelife. I would recommend to people looking for an affordable gym that is friendly and inviting.

I've yet to meet a staff member who doesn't greet you with a smile and is willing to help out with any issue that arises. The energy is electric during peak hours and doesn't get insanely crowded like other gyms. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym for 14 years and it has never lost its hometown feel. It is a close knit community of people who care about their fitness and health. I am partial to the group ex classes as I was able to lose 50lbs. The gym is well appointed with good equipment and the people are phenomenal!

Fantastic experience: This has been my gym for 10 years now. Great gym, clean, and great environment. Super staff all around. Wide range of offerings: private Pilates Reformer sessions, TNT, Explosive Performance Training, Personal Training, Dance and Zumba, yoga, and Group fitness classes are just some of the many options available The Group Exercise classes and instructors here are the best around, creating a very motivating environment. I miss my gym when I travel!

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of the club for years and love every minute of it! From my very first visit back in 2014, I met with Charles, the General Manager, and he was fantastic in his understanding and sincerity. He helped ease my anxiety of joining since I was overweight. He set me up with Courtney, the Fitness Director, for my Right Start training session. She was amazing in helping me! There was no pressure from the sales part to join nor from the training side to purchase training. I did work with a trainer for 3 months and lost nearly 40lbs! I love the staff, the club is always clean, the manager really cares about the people and the club. Don't take my word for it (or the word of those that may have had less than stellar experience), visit the club just once and you'll see for yourself. Truly the best of the best at Reston Onelife (formally sport&health)!!

Fantastic experience: Clean and affordable. Good customer service. I mostly do fitness classes so this gym is perfect for what I need. I only want to pay for what I use and this gym offers that at a lower monthly price than other gyms with pools, saunas, racketball...if you dont need it then don't pay for it. Love this gym.

Fantastic experience: Reston Onelife Fitness is a great gym. I equate it to a Boutique Gym. It is the perfect size. The people , staff are all so friendly and professional. A wonderful place to meet and make new friends and get a great workout!!!! If you are looking for a gym where you will get in great shape, this is it.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a ton of equipment - cardio, free weights, weight machines, extra studios and rooms. It's become increasingly difficult to find step machines and they have several options - more than I've seen in most modern gyms. Two machines were broken but there were a couple backup options, which is another thing I liked a lot about this gym. There was no wait for any cardio equipment or machines. I can't imagine it ever being so busy where there would be considering the amount of equipment in this gym. It was clean and quiet and the staff was courteous.

Fantastic experience: They have amazing staff who greets me by first name regardless of if i'm there at 5am during the week or on a Sunday afternoon. They are always so welcoming! The facility is perfect for what I need. Lots of parking, plenty of cardio equipment and free weights, showers, and large variety of classes. My daughter is also a HUGE fan of their kids club!

Fantastic experience: Although I am within the last few days of my membership, I must say, it has been a pleasure being a member of Sport and Health. The staff is courteous, the trainers are friendly, the maintenance staff is constantly wiping down equipment and no matter what time of day, there seems to be enough equipment for everyone to exercise in harmony. The only thing that could be improved is, the jump ropes are bit too short and light weight. Yes, that's minor and doesn't take away from the many pluses that makes Sport and Health a nice gym where one can accomplish their fitness goals. It's a shame that the negative reviews from 2+ years ago don't fall off because from the reviews I've read to what I have experienced, this gym must have made and incredible turn around in all areas. I'd challenge anyone to give his gym a chance and experience an organized team of people that work hard to prove that Sport and Health is one of the cleanest and best gyms in Reston. I was impressed when I joined and to the day, my opinion remains the same.
