Fantastic experience: This place has all the basics for barbells and dumbbells and double the machines if you use them for lifting. They have 3 squat racks with one being a deadlift platform. Wish there was one or two more of those but it's not usually busy when I go so it's not a big deal. The cardio area has tons of treadmills and ellipticals and some awesome water row machines, stairs, bikes etc. There is only one downside to the gym and it's the men's showers. The shower heads are at about 6'-1" tall while I'm 6' even. They need some extensions to lift them about a foot! Other than that this place is great!

Fantastic experience: This is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to in my life. They don’t lack any equipment. They have multiple squat racks and benches. They also have TRX bands, kettlebells, and landmines. Also never overpacked. I’ve never really had to wait to use any equipment here. Staff is the best there is. Super friendly and down to earth people that never fail to put a smile on your face.

Fantastic experience: I'm about two weeks into my membership and I absolutely love it here. It's well maintained, the staff is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I'm glad I made the switch! This place feels like home.

Fantastic experience: From the first time I walked in I felt welcome. The staff is inviting and the equipment is well taken care of. It's a newer gym seeing fantastic growth and I'm excited to be there every time I go to work out.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything you'd find in a bigger gym, but in a smaller less crowded space. The Hoist machines are a game changer for my bad knee. On the Hoist machines, I can exercise without pain. Friendly staff. Check it out.

Fantastic experience: This is the spot by far. I’ve visited many gyms in the San Antonio area all to find this one. The staff is very courteous, friendly, and personable. The facility is very clean and never too crowded. There are a plethora of workout stations so you shouldn’t have to wait on a machine. If you are serious about working out, Get over here and tell ‘em Joe sent ya!

Fantastic experience: Visiting the area for work and stopped in this gym. Really impressive! The online images made me think it was just a lifters gym. But they have a little bit of everything. Tons of high end cardio equipment, tons of single station strength pieces, and tons of free weights. The equipment was clean and well maintained. The facility was very clean and new. Will be coming back here when I’m in town next!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym. Equipment is awesome. Platform for deads, squat racks, dumbbells up to a 100 and a ton of cardio equipment. Hana's customer service was bomb. Recommend!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy working out here. It's spotlessly clean, the locker room doesn't smell like old socks and a$$. The equipment is in very good condition and the staff is great. They are actually interested in how you're doing, and they'll help you with the equipment and correct form, if you like.

Fantastic experience: This gym has an awesome staff that is always excited to see someone walk through their doors. The gym is cleaned daily and has sanitary wipe stations throughout. I highly recommend this gym over other commercial ones.

Fantastic experience: This place is phenomenal! I’ve been looking far and wide for a serious gym in San Antonio that is the antithesis to the Big Box gyms. I knew I wanted to sign up from the moment I walked in. Great equipment, great staff (like Suzanna, who’s there to greet everyone with an infectious smile and tremendous attitude), and perfect professional atmosphere. If you’re a serious lifter, bodybuilder, or trainer, this is the place to be. I look forward to being a long term member.

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism I was in San Antonio for a month for work, and it was so easy to get a 30 day pass! They had all the weightlifting equipment I needed, plus cardio equipment (if you’re into that sorta thing). Everyone was so nice and professional and even greeted me by name. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll choose this gym!

Fantastic experience: The gym has a clear layout, all areas perfectly separated, and is equipped with a great selection of machines whether you're a rookie or an experienced fitness authority, it is kept clean & organized and counts with highly experienced trainers like Susana. All in all, great place, great team, great energy.

I tried la fitness, trufit, golds…etc and none have come close to Powermaster. It’s super clean has a great staff and has amazing equipment. Best gym in SA!
