Gold's Gym San Antonio Rogers Ranch

Fantastic experience: The Child Care Center is amazing, my boys always have a blast! The greeters are very attentive and welcoming. The cafe is the best! Once it was late and closing time and the lady behind the counter had a great attitude and helped make my shake, little things like that go a long way!

Fantastic experience: The BEST golds gym I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot in San Antonio. There’s a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and women’s only workout area. It’s very spacious and even has a few studios in the upstairs area with one of them being pilates! The carpets are in need of some work but overall everything else is amazing! 10/10 recommend

From the moment I started my membership, I knew I was in good hands with Skylar. She has ALWAYS been there for me and the other members. I can't say enough nice things about Skylar. I think she is someone that has displayed great customer service and therefore is a solid candidate for any future management or leadership roles at Gold's Gym! Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for years! I’ve watched the ups & the downs, definitely a lot of downs since Covid. I’ve seen so many employees and managers come and go and never had much faith in them, until here in the last few months! They found a new general manager who has really taken action to turn things around, even put all new equipment in the ladies workout room and got new treadmills! And my favorite addition is Skyler at the front desk. I haven’t troubled myself to learn an employees name here in years. She’s always knowledgeable, sympathetic, and upbeat and hope to see her here for many years to come!

Equipment is updated. 3. Staff are all ENTHUSIASTIC. ENGAGING and HELPFUL. 4. Great space for group volleyball playing than anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: My friends and I love to play Volleyball together at Golds Gym Rogers ranch, and I am blown away by management's support. This gym truly cares about their customers, it is very well cleaned, and there is a plethora of workout equipment. This gym is without a doubt affordable and valuable for people looking to swim, play basketball, play volleyball, lift weights, attend group classes, or do cardio.

Fantastic experience: I joined the Gold Gym membership again for playing volleyball with my friends. The management team is very supportive, and the staffs set up net for us before our volleyball time. The staffs and managers are exceptional. The Gym is super clean. I have had nothing but great experience. I definitely recommend this Golds Gym to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Golds Gym - Rogers Ranch is the most convenient neighborhood gym in SA. Lived in Rogers Ranch (The most popular community) for the past 20 years and had been a royal member since then. The management team are experienced and know customer services. They can always meet members' requests and grant their full access. I play volleyballs and basketballs on the main court. Such a pleasure after each game. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: The Gold's Gym Rogers Ranch is truly excellent! The service is outstanding! We have been playing volleyball every Sunday morning for the past three weeks, and staff not only help set up the net before our appointment, and the floor is shining! I certainly rate this gym the top tier! If you want a gym with superb facilities and service, this one will not disappoint you. Way to go!

Gold’s Gym at Roger’s Ranch is the answer, excellent facility offer varieties of exercise tool and Volleyball/Basketball field is great. We have been enjoying the service and the shining floor for the past three weekends. Come and enjoy your exercise.

Fantastic experience: We have group of people playing volleyball for many years in Rogers Ranch Golds Gym, after 2 years suspension during pandemic time, thanks for GYM’s management accommodation, we finally resume our Volleyball activity in the Gym recently. It is best value GYM in SA, high end gym with affordable cost. It has everything you need for warkout, apparently the GYM is under good management now, everything is clean! We are looking for bring more friends here.

Fantastic experience: Probably my favorite Gold’s Gym in San. Antonio. Great weight room, huge selection of free weights and machine weights. And most importantly, a well taken care of in door full size NBA basketball court. Come catch me ballin’ on em!

Fantastic experience: I am happy to say the pool is now in great condition. I went swimming Saturday, June 25, 2022, and the pool is clean. The water is clear and the temperature of the water feels great. Alec Faraj is one of the managers of the gym and he is always available to answer questions and take care of any issue(s) that may arise. Additionally, the showers in the ladies locker room are now very clean.

Positive experience: I am using mostly the pool and steam room, unfortunately t the pool area is not clean at all. Attached bottom of pool dirt seating all over and the water most of the time is not clean. I hope is not harmful to swimmers. Also the poll area is not clean neither. In mens locker room smell very bad needs air freshener or maybe more cleaning. Stream room is not hot enough. In general needs more attention regarding cleaning. Thanks

Positive experience: There is a major problem of guys using the locker room as their own photo studio. Every time I go to this location there is always someone taking photos while other people are changing. A few weeks ago there was even a guy with a tripod setup to take photos in the locker room while people were around. The facilities are nice and the staff is great (they are the reason this is not a one star review). Taking photos in a locker room is not only a gross invasion of privacy, but I am pretty sure it is illegal as well. I spoke with the owner a couple months ago about this issue and they said they were going to take action and had no problem revoking memberships when they catch people, but since speaking with them I have seen no prominent signs displayed or even a slight decrease in this gross invasion of privacy. I reached out to the gym through the member center again a couple weeks ago about this issue but never got a response or saw any attempts from management to stop this gross behavior. I am cancelling my membership at this location due to the incredibly high amount of guys taking photos in the locker room and nothing being done about it. I suggested that management at this location send out a member wide email stating that anyone caught taking photos in the locker room would have their membership revoked on the spot, but they did not seem to take my advice as no email was ever sent out. They should also have large signs when you enter the gym and again when you enter the locker room stating if you take photos in the locker room you will have your membership revoked with no warning. I have worked out at many gyms throughout San Antonio over the years, but have never seen such rampant disrespect for other's privacy as I have at this location. I don't know why this location has an inordinate amount of people taking photos, but I am not sticking around to find out. I hope the owner sees this review and takes steps to end photo shoots in the locker room as this could potentially blow back and become a legal issue for the gym if the wrong person is photographed without consent; and that would be incredibly unfortunate because as I mentioned above the staff has been nothing but great, despite seemingly not taking any measures to curb photo shoots in the locker room. TLDR: Lot's of people taking photos in the locker room while people are changing and management not taking steps to stop this gross invasion of privacy.

Positive experience: The equipment is nice but there seems to be an issue keeping it up. Six stair step machines and at least three are always down. The hot tub is nice after workouts but again, it’s down half the time. I use this gym because it’s one of only two left in SA that still has an indoor pool. You pay a premium price for those amenities. However, they give preferential treatment to the non-Golds swim classes so you loose a quarter of the pool to them. So members pay a premium price to use one of only two pools left on the have it crowded with kids swim classes and not available for laps. I’ve left mad for the last time. For the same price LA Fitness has pools in every club and better equipment.

Fantastic experience: I am so impressed by the equipment and the all professional staff. First they are inexpensive. Great equipment I cannot mention this higher, I talked with Brian the General Manager, I had heard complaints from a couple ladies there about the locker situation. Brian told me that they were aware and he had authorization to totally replace everything. Great people there are, Brian, Diaz assistant manager, and Paul who is my trainer. The food there is incredible. I am by nature a difficult person to please, but I will stay with them for life. I also hate that I can only give them five stars, if I was able I would give them a hundred. Today most people complain too much. If you have a problem, take it to the management. Don’t snipe them, talk with people, talk with either of the manager’s. They will listen and take you seriously, they are hobbled by the corporate pos. It is never the management, they must get approval from the corporate management. Such a shame. Being a former senior Army I personally thought of regulations as guidelines. I no longer would fit in our PC military.

Fantastic experience: I go to the Rogers Ranch Gold Gym 3 days a week. I mainly take classes such as Body Pump and Gentle Yoga. I love the instructors here as they always make the classes fun.

I can’t say enough about her knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm, patience and dedication to her clients overall health and well being. Whether you’re young or older, novice or expert at the gym, she will individually tailor your workouts and you will get results- I have been her client for 10 years and highly recommend her

Fantastic experience: This is one of my favorite golds in SA. It's always spotless, the sauna is never 'gross' and they have quite a few machines to choose from. I always get a good workout when I come here. Ladies, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Women's Only room but I'm sure if you call, they will give you exact details.

Fantastic experience: Update: The company I was with stopped offering a free gym membership so I converted my corporate membership to a retail membership. I still go and Ruben is still my trainer. Not to long ago the gym got all new weight and cable machines. The new cable machines are good and the movement on them feels more natural. As for that facility I have mostly good things to say. The locker room has combination lockers that make it easy to store your stuff. The place is always clean and I usually don't have an issue during the times I go to get on a machine. The only bad is that are times that the towel racks are empty but it's rare that this happens. Overall I still give this place 5 stars. I really like it. My company pays for a black level gym membership for Gold's Gym membership and this is the location I chose. There is one closer to my house but this one is far better. My trainer Ruben is awesome and knows how to push me but not in a way that will make me hurt myself.

Fantastic experience: Clean Gym, Friendly staff, the members are also very friendly. There is mostly an older crowd at this gym which could explain the all the friendliness. Lots of equipment various pools, a spa and Sauna in both the Men's and Women's changing room. Razors, gel,mouthwash, lotion are all provided free with your membership.

Lloyd of machines to pick, choose and use... I mean you get great service... let's learn what they offer at this particular gym... THAT OTHER GYMS DON'T OFFER!!! YOU'LL always get a great WORKOUT! The service is great here.. Free CLEAN TOWELS to use during YOUR workout, during sauna, swimming pool, AND AFTER YOU SHOWER!!! BODY CREAM, RAZORS (of course they're new), shaving cream to shave, SHAMPOO, HAIR CONDITIONER, body wash, hair gel, hair spray, desodorante the praying kind to not be affected by other users... free coffee, free tea and yatta yatta... You can't complain when you receive the best service... IS everything perfect NO OF COURSE NOT BUT NEITHER ARE YU or me

Fantastic experience: This is the best location Gold's Gym has to offer in the city of San Antonio. It used to be a Spectrum gym, the cost was better back then but overall this gym is still very good. Unique highlights at this location are the pools and water park, Cafe Vida, and child care area.
