Positive experience: At first, I thought it was very crowded with a lot of machines. After a while, you kinda get used to it.

Positive experience: THIS IS AN AMAZING GYM ,WHETHER YOU ARE TRAINING PROFESSIONALLY OR JUST TRYING TO GET FIT, THE OWNER IS AN AMAZING DOWN TO EARTH PERSON AND HER PARTNER SURGE ,HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM HE TELLS GREAT STORIES OF HIS PAST , AS WELL AS THE GREAT PEOPLE HE HAS MET, I HAVEN'T BEEN THERE IN A WHILE BUT NON THE LESS THE ENERGY IS TGE SAME SO GO TO IRON BOUND FITNESS

Fantastic experience: Lots of great equipment to have a great workout at

Positive experience: Pretty decent gym and equipment. At the time I visited, which was early in the afternoon, the young lady at the front desk was very helpful. My concern is the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. I noticed there was no sanitizing wipes near the equipment downstairs. Also people were sweating and sharing equipment without cleaning. My other concern is the women’s locker room. Why is the door wide open while men hang in front of it. No privacy at all! Very uncomfortable atmosphere while changing.

Positive experience: The front door staff is obnoxiously unprofessional. Like almost at a personal level even though you don't know them. It's like they want to start a problem with you. Those people probably don't work there anymore. The gym itself is great, the vibe is good. They play all the sports finals and have two floors. Ownership is also cool.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love ironbound fitness ! Best place to train. The facility is clean, gorgeous and full of amazing equipment . I am currently prepping for a competing and if it wasn't for the ironbound fitness family i wouldn't have been able to push tru. I am so thankful to be part of such amazing gym, and family . If you like fitness and want to be pushed to the next level please go to ironbound fitness . Doris and Sergio make sure their facility is the best and they have for sure accomplish it ! Best gym in the state of New Jersey !

Fantastic experience: Great Gym. Lots of everything, clean, nice people. I was in town for work and caught a workout on a day off. Cant think of one thing wrong with it. The equipment was in excellent condition, lots of it, all the top end equipment like Hammer Strength, Cybex, Life Fitness, tons and tons of weight in both plates and dumbells, the gym was fairly neat, they have a nice shake bar where you can get a shake after workout. The exact kind of gym I love to find in cities when I am on the road. If I could have given it 6 stars I would have..

Fantastic experience: Ironbound is literally one of the best gyms I've ever been to. I go there to destress, get my body in shape, and to just burn off some pent up energy. They have way better machines than Planet Fitness and Blink. I met the owners several times and they were just amazing. Gave me tips for my body type which I truly appreciate. I will continue renewing my membership here.

Fantastic experience: The spot, if you are a body builder, power lifter or Serious about working out and reaching your goals. This is your Gym, otherwise if you are soft and not dedicated, there is a place for that right around :)

Fantastic experience: I find Newark's Ironbound Fitness be a friendly, convenient, relaxed, neighborhood gym. No frills, but then, I don’t want to pay for frills. And no irritating music! A wide variety of folks work out there from grandmothers to body builders (and I think some body-building grandmothers) so folks like me don’t feel intimidated. Excellent personal trainers are available who will listen to what YOU want, on your schedule. All the equipment here works fine. Overall, it’s a great place to start working out, keep working out, and modify or improve your workouts.

Fantastic experience: i been training here for the past 3 years after leaving metro and while i thought metro was okay, Ironbound completely surprised me. it is like a totally different environment. The owners are ALWAYS there and that means a lot. Bathrooms stay clean, environment is good. Only negative thing is it can ghet quite busy on a friday night but that is expected of every gym, so A++++

Fantastic experience: Every time I attempted to exercise, I gave up. Exercising in a big gym just felt uncomfortable. Newark's Ironbound Fitness has provided me with a wonderful experience. Not only is the gym clean with a friendly staff, but it provides you with a spiritual encouragement to achieve your goals. For the first time, I feel excited about working out and I feel I can achieve my goals of losing the extra pounds. Best gym ever.

I have been a member for 2 years and it is a great place to workout with great people. Newark's Ironbound Fitness provides a fun and encouraging environment to get in shape, as well as to maintain and excel in one’s fitness goals. The gym’s staff and members are friendly and fitness oriented, and the weights and equipment are superior to other gyms in NEWARK.

Fantastic experience: Just tried the gym over the weekend. As soon as my current membership is over I'm definitely joining this gym. I went 2 days in a row and I had no issues. The entire gym was very clean! Loved all the leg machines. Everyone was super nice!! I definitely recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful fun place to work out they also offer Chiropractic, massage and acupuncture at their Hayes Valley Location. Their customer service is awesome and I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and hello!

Fantastic experience: Great equipment in this gym, stuff you won't find at other locations. I've been to (the now closed) Fit above, Club Metro and Evo and noticed a common theme, lack of equipment and free weights. Here I can actually use the same dumbbells as 2 other people and not have to wait for someone to finish. Never took advantage of the classes but they look fun.

Fantastic experience: I've been signed up for this gym for about 2 weeks, but it's already been great. It's clean, the staff is attentive, and it's rarely super busy. I came from 24 Hour Fitness so this was just what I needed - a less busy and simple gym. Will, the manager, is also super helpful and seems to truly care about the people who go there.

Fantastic experience: I think its a great place to be at nothing to complain i just walk in and do my thing i dont go there to hang out or talk to the girls at front desk like other do, its 2 floors of work out floor there is FREE parking a block away no big deal, tho.just ask where its at. Great price every month, i been there for few months now and i enjoy it nobody to bother you do you're thing and thats it.

Fantastic experience: I love the various classes they offer, the customer service given, and the motivation given by those there. I really like the music played by the staff. Last but not least, the cost is within my budget and it's very convenient location.
