Ochsner Fitness Center - Downtown

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym. Fully equipped, lots of cardio machines and very reasonably priced. It’s spotlessly clean and not at all crowded. Take a padlock with you for the locker. The staff are absolutely lovely. Stephanie is one of the nicest people and there’s excelente customer service.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. I was visiting and the daily fee is reasonable, the Tabatta class was killer, the gym is clean and has a lot of equipment, and the staff were all friendly. The only thing this gym needs are heavier kettlebells. My hotel didn't have a gym and this was a great replacement for that.

Fantastic experience: Great fitness center in downtown location with a view of the New Orleans. Clean facilities, friendly staff, and great workout classes. Downtown features a sauna room, hot tub, racquetball court, basketball gym, and all workout equipment I ever needed.

Fantastic experience: Very nice facility. Employees were kind and helpful, gym is well equipped and clean with beautiful views of the local skyline. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting New Orleans for a week, and the Ochsner Fitness Center was nearby and had the classes I wanted. I attended two - Body Combat and Cardio Kickboxing - and had a fabulous time! The instructor was good, the workout was intense, and the people are wonderful! It was a little hard fort me to find the entrance, but I called up and they gave me directions. Nice clean place, good equipment, great staff -- if I lived here, I'd go three times a week! And very inexpensive, too.

Fantastic experience: Came here for a day pass and most of the time staff treat day use members not too well. I gotta say the manager Kristian was awesome. He really did a great job explaining everything this gym had to offer. Now I'm only here for 2 days but I will be back for a 2nd day. For $10 a day you can't go wrong. Thank you Kristian for all your help.

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym! I'm here from out of town and this happened to be really close to my hotel. Not a super hard-core power lifting gym, but they do have a place specifically for deadlifting, and one squat rack. Plenty of machines and free-weights, cardio equipment up stairs, and am amazing view from the 13th floor above a parking garage! They also have 2 erg rowing machines (concept 2). Very impressed with this gym! If I lived close to here it would be my go-to spot.

Fantastic experience: You’ll find the elevator on the left side of the Shell Building. Do not enter from Poydras Street. You’ll see a glass door beside the parking lot then take the elevator to the 15th floor. Great little gym with nice equipment. We were visiting and it has pretty much everything you need to lift and for cardio machines.

Fantastic experience: Came in as an out-of-town guest and was treated superbly. I was helped by Jade and Kristian (if I spelled that right). Normally when I hit a gym in a different city, I pay $15 or $20 to catch a couple annoyed looks that a new waiver needs to be signed. Guests are only $10 here. Kristian was exceptionally welcoming and gave me a quick rundown of where everything was. He was ultra friendly to put my recovery drink in the cooler and Jade was very sweet and delightful. I highly recommend this gym to guests and this would be my no-doubt, go-to spot if I lived or worked in downtown NOLA. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Great facility, just what I needed for a quick deadlift session while away at a conference. Very friendly employees, just keep an eye on the time cause they close relatively early.
