Fantastic experience: This review is overdue, I started coming to see Zach back in 2019 for some shoulder issues that had been plaguing me since 2018 and also the for the more typical reasons you decide to utilize a trainer. It was a very frustrating first 6 months coming to grips with just how neglected not only my shoulders were but also the realization that the rest of my body was no longer 30 years old. I was ready to quit more than once, but Zach was patient with me yet at the same time tough and realistic. You don’t get a hall pass with him, be prepared to do what you say you signed on to do. Its now August 2021 and I’m physically in a much better place than I was two years ago and most of the credit goes to the time I’ve invested with Zach. Lionheart is not your typical big box gym with a vague uninterested “trainer” it’s much more personalized to understand and accommodate your actual needs. My experience has been a positive one.

Fantastic experience: I have been working out with Zach since March 2022 and couldn't be happier. I suffer from anxiety and couldn't walk into a gym on my own. I needed that push and direction on using the machines correctly. My friend in California found Zach close to my work and sent me his info. We started our 4 am workouts (I love how flexible he is with your schedule) Zach makes sure that you are working out with the right form and using the correct muscles. He helped me build the perfect foundation for my body and as the weeks passed and my tears dried the weights increased. He pushed me to believe in my capabilities. I will be 50 next year and in better shape than I ever have been.. I can now walk into the gym and feel confident. Thank you, Zach, for all that you are and have given me.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Zach in August of 2021 and this year's time I have not only seen huge physical changes but my overall way of thinking has changed for the better. I had a trainer years ago but because of how bad that experience was, I never thought that I would ever be able to get a trainer again. I cannot recommend enough how great Zach is at really dedicating himself to you as a client. He truly does care about your goals and is there every step of the way. I feel so much better, mentally and physically. I've lost a total of 30lbs of fat and have put on 15lbs of muscle in this year and a half of training. I can never envision myself going back to the old me and Zach helps to achieve a whole lifestyle change. He is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with and I look forward to what this next year holds!

Fantastic experience: I came in the door here post-PT, having torn my rotator cuff the prior year. I wanted to build up strength to avoid another injury. I'd never seriously lifted weights before. At the start, we were getting zero activations anywhere due to the poor shape my muscles were in after a year of doing nothing with injury. Zach modified constantly and tireless came up with new workouts to work around my issues and get the activation required. I've been coming here five months now and have gone from lifting a bar alone to well over 100lbs in some of my exercises. Nothing happens overnight - you have to put the time and work in, but if you are ready to do that then Zach is the man to see.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Zack for 6 months now and it’s been one of the best decisions I have ever made. He is very knowledgeable and his workouts are super efficient. I’ve not only lost weight and body fat but my muscles are getting lean and toned and I’m overall feeling better. Fantastic experience: I've been training with Zach for just over 3 months and he's been fantastic. He focuses on all aspects of being a healthy person, not just workouts. He set me up with an easy to follow diet, cardio plan, and workouts. With the diet and cardio, he focuses on accountability. Each time we meet, he ask me questions about how I'm doing and keeps me honest, which works well for me. Zach's always pushing my workouts to the limit, while focusing on form over anything else. He's been successfully helping me work through injury all while getting consistent results. He's very high energy and focused on getting the best results possible for his clients. So far I'm down over 20 lbs and decreased body fat by over 7%. I'm very excited to see my continued progress over the next 3 months. I would highly recommend working with Zach!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Zack for 6 months and he has completely delivered on my goals and exceeded my expectations of gaining significant strengh, losing weight and lowering my body fat by 6%. Fantastic experience: Zach is a fantastic trainer! I actually enjoy working out! He is always very encouraging, has a very positive and upbeat personality and is extremely interested in his client’s fitness journey. Plus, he has a hilarious sense of humor. Fantastic experience: When I walked into the private gym I was a little apprehensive and unsure about beginning a serious work out program. After meeting with Zach I felt like I had a direction, a starting point for my fitness/health. Thus far I have been working out under Zach's supervision for about 6 months now. I can't think of anyone else I would trust to help me meet my workout/fitness goals. Zach is a focused and professional trainer, he maintains a positive, energetic and a great fitness ethic that makes me want to workout, where in the past I did not. Zach has a great fitness/health knowledge base to share. I'm overweight and have been struggling to lose the weight and gain muscle strength. Now I feel the difference in how my body feels after working out with a professional trainer vs. on my own. For health reasons I am going to begin a whole new fitness journey. I'm going to have a surgery that will help me with weight loss. With Zach as my personal trainer I know I will receive a customized workout that can change to meet my fitness needs, thanks Zach!

Fantastic experience: Zack is an awesome trainer. Super flexible and adjusts workouts as needed! He’s made working out something I look forward too. I have basically gone from negative 20 to probably a solid 10 in terms of strength in 7 months 3x week.started with No weight or lowest weight on almost every exercise and I can say on every single exercise I have gone up 2 weight levels or more. It really depends on what muscles we are isolating and the exercise. He is super motivating and encouraging. Could not recommend more.

Fantastic experience: Three months in and I cannot believe the difference it’s made! Before starting I was self conscious and had not worked out in years. I now feel confident, strong, and capable. I was so worried about trying to work out after kids, working full-time, and being in school. Zach has been so flexible in working with my schedule. Despite everything going on I consistently can do 4 sessions a week. It’s so much more than losing weight (but trust me I’ve done that too)! I look and feel the best I have in years. If you’re looking for a sign that it’s time for change - this is it!

Fantastic experience: I started with Zach at Lionhart Fitness in May of 21. Having my neck fused a couple years started an overall decline in strength and gaining unwanted weight. Zach does a great job of customizing the workout based on your capabilities. In 6 short months, my strength is has more than tripled, body fat continues to decrease and it's all because Zach is hyper focused on maximizing your workout to your benefit. I've had trainers in the past that just want to push you to till you're dead. Zach is different. He works with and pushes you, but in a good way. He is focused on building you up and making you stronger for the long term. All in all, you will glad you chose Zach, he is making a difference.

Fantastic experience: I have been working out with Zach of Lionhart Fitness for 4 months and couldn't be happier with the experience. Having never worked out before, I was one of those that walked into a gym, feeling intimidated and had no clue what to do. When I found Zach on social media what I saw immediately from his posts is that he is all about working out with the right form, isolating the correct muscles, working out the kinks we've created in our bodies all with the correct weight for your level of fitness. He helped me build a foundation and each week takes me further, patiently working with me, pushing me at the exact moments. Having had knee surgery a few years back, he has addressed my concerns with working out on it and has helped me gain strength and confidence. I can do knee exercises I was told I couldn't do. He has taught me proper form, how to be efficient with my workouts, and have learned when and how to add more weight to the exercises. Although still a newbie, it's a great feeling to be able to walk into the gym and feel comfortable and confident with the workout I am about to do. I look forward to working more with Zach and learning even more.

Fantastic experience: Zach is a great, well-rounded personal trainer. He keeps me accountable according to my goals we established during evaluation. He was up front that the majority of the output was dependant on me following through on workouts, cardio, meal plans, etc. Rather than shaming when getting off track, he helps keep me motivated, providing encouragement to do better. I've been working with him for just about 5 months and am down at least 25 lbs, dropped my resting heart rate by 10bpm, have better stamina while exercising, fit better in clothes that I had gotten too big for, get better sleep and generally feel better. If you are looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, friendly and serious about results, please reach out to Zach. It's well worth the investment in making a positive change for yourself.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Zach in February 2020. I wanted to step up my game and get that extra push. I have been exercising most of my adult years and needed more insight on the proper techniques and exercises that will produce results. He's super flexible as I've had to navigate work and personal commitments around my PT appointments, sometimes with short notice. Meal plans are solid and I enjoy the hard work that has shown results. If you're looking for a personable, flexible, and motivating trainer, Zach is a great choice!

Fantastic experience: Where do I start. I knew I had to change my eating and exercising patterns because I had gained about 60 lbs and was feeling totally defeated! I had always been fit and being ex Army I knew I would feel better by starting a new program! My problem was just total lack of motivation! Then I decided to hire a personal trainer. Of course I had never used one and was totally lost as to where to look and even what to look for. I just googled and found many and started reading reviews and was able to weed through very quickly. Then I started reading about Zach and decided to text him. He got back to me in a timely manner and I told him my own story and dilemma of absolutely no motivation. He simply said let’s meet and you tell me your goals and I will tell you if I think I can help. Everything changed that day as it continues now into my fifth month of working with Zach. I’m down a-little over 40 pounds feel great and have found the strength I never thought possible as a 59 year old man. Zach made this very easy actually all I had to do was say yes and commit to the time and the meal program which honestly is a breeze! Zach pushes me but understands and acknowledges my strengths and weaknesses. He is constantly teaching me about the machines and telling me that I can do it. He has given me back the motivation that just seemed to have gotten lost along the way in life. I would recommend Zach to anyone who was where I was just a few short months ago. I’m so glad I met him and all he has done for me. His work out ethic is strict but if you truly want to change Zach is the trainer for you! He totally changed my thinking, my goals and my life!!

Fantastic experience: Zach is my dad and I’s trainer. We’ve been going to him for quite a while and we both love him, he’s awesome. You could see noticeable difference within the first few times of seeing him. He balances out your workouts so that you are getting an even workout on your whole body. He challenges us to work our hardest and it pays off!! The workouts he gives us aren’t repetitive and we look forward to working out with him every week. I am so happy with where he has taken my strength and body to, and we will continue working out with him for as long as we can. Outside the gym he communicates well and is an overall excellent trainer. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Zach at Lionhart in Glendale for about 5 months. It's been a very positive experience and the much needed change in my life. I'm healthier, stronger and getting into great shape. Schedules are very flexible. Zach is an awesome guy who really cares about his clients. The meal plan and full body workout guide he provides are very beneficial. The gym is also a great environment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Zach for almost an year now, and believe he is one of the most committed trainers around. I really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions & then took care of explaining technics as well! Zach is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts.

Fantastic experience: I was following Lionhart Fitness on Facebook for over 3 months before approaching Zach. I was impressed with his sincerely and focus on clients. I am training with him for over 8 months now. By far, Zach is the best trainer I have had to date. While I have gained muscle and improved my fitness range over these 8 months, I still have ways to go to reach my goals. Zach is committed to goals of all his clients. I love the fact the he listens to you, remembers exercises and weights from my last sessions and switches them around to push me to my limit. His high energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Fantastic experience: I went to see Zach for weight loss and got more than I asked for, meal plans, training, exercise routines with him and routines for the days you don’t go train with him and an education on what is not a diet but a lifestyle change. It took me a little for me to accept this change but now I can pass by some of the cakes and candy and not even want to have it. I love training days even though I know I may be in some discomfort the next day, I have seen a change in my body that I like and now makes me want to keep it up. Best trainer, reliable, works around your time and schedule would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Don't use this guy. Reallly, he is amongst the best in the AZ area for great price, but do not take my time slot. Zach clients always get total focus and motivation for their goals whether they are for competitive, personal goals, or even as in my case injury recovery. I have been training w Zach for 5 years and though he is client-focused and fun. Hope you find another trainer or if you do use him just remember to be on time and have fun achieving your goals.

Fantastic experience: I found Zach at a perfect time in my life where I was going through a lot of transitions. I decided to make my health and wellness part of the change. Zach was always extremely helpful and flexible. He made being consistent in my weekly workouts possible even with my busy schedule. He obviously has a lot of valuable fitness knowledge that I have been able to learn from, but he also a great attitude He is always supportive and encouraging. Fantastic experience: Zach has been a great PT. He makes you feel like a person, who is doing their very best at all the work outs. He constantly motivates you to push harder and do better. He creates meal plans that are only tailored to your needs. Zach only wants the best for you and never belittles you. I've been seeing him for a couple years now and it is by far the best decision I've made towards my personal health and fitness goals. I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking to hire a Personal Trainer, and doesn't want the stereotypical gym buff guru.

Fantastic experience: Let's face it -- lifestyle changes that involve eating right, cardio and strength training isn't easy. When I made the decision to look for a trainer - Zach's name popped up on my search. What impressed me the most were the positive reviews that were written and the physical results from his clients. Zach is very encouraging, supportive and will push you hard. Don't get me wrong, he knows where your limit is! And he's knowledgeable and flexible to change up your workout on the fly. I've been training with Zach for about 8 weeks -- my strength has increased, I've lost weight and and inches! If that isn't enough incentive to keep going, I don't know what is!

Fantastic experience: I started with Zach on January 1st 2018 at 208 lbs. In my 1st consult he told me if I followed the meal plan and exercise routine that he built especially for me that I would drop 30 lbs in 3 months. Its now April 20th 2018 and I'm down 30lbs. I'm sure, had I not faltered on a few occasions I would have dropped them sooner. I have tried to lose weight before, but never with this noticeable of a success. Zach knows nutrition, and exercise better than anyone I've ever known. His positivity and drive are inspiring. As I progress Zach is just as excited as I am with every milestone I've achieved. He has changed the way I eat, look, and feel. My family has noticed a big difference in not just my appearance but my attitude. Thanks to Zach I have learned that being healthy isn't just a physical condition, but a state of being. I can't wait to see what the next 3 months will bring!
