Fantastic experience: Huge with tons of options; swimming, diving, weights, basketball and more!

Fantastic experience: I really like this community center. The pool is great to use, there is a separate area and pool for the young kids to play in, as well. The workout area is nice and stacked with all sorts of equipment from machines for most workouts, cable machines, body workout equipment (think dips, pull-ups, etc.), free weights, and an upstairs track that looks over the gym. They've got equipment to play badminton, basketball, etc.. There's also a couple of rooms upstairs where you can sign up for classes. The locker room is well kept, doesn't smell bad, and the showers have warm water! There's also a couple of rooms you can rent out for whatever you need, be it a conference, birthday party, office meeting, or whatever. The staff is amazing! I've not had a single bad/unpleasant encounter with any of the staff members and they're all so very kind!

Fantastic experience: A great place to work out, swim, play sports, or have a meeting. Membership rates are reasonable for all that's available to you. Classes cost extra, along with childcare, but those extra costs don't really add up to much. It gets busy during swim meets and the normal 'busy' times of the day, so be prepared to share equipment. It's always clean and equipment is repaired timely.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for a child’s birthday party. You get a party room for and hour and access to the pool afterwards for 2-hours. It’s indoor so you don’t have to worry about the weather. A great value.

Positive experience: A little pricey for a family of 3, especially when child is 18 years old. $109.20 a month for Gladstone residents, and that doesn't include the outdoor pool. Facilities are nice, but indoor pool hours are pretty marginal.

Fantastic experience: It’s a pretty good place. I paid $500 for a family of 4. Which does not include the outside pool, that’s an additional $140 yr. It is kind of annoying to pay for everything. Pay for a membership and then need to pay to participate in any training classes, gaming, etc. Why would you do yearly pool maintenance during the summer? Surely there would be a better time. I assume there is a reason.

Fantastic experience: I previously reviewed the gym last year, and I just want to update this year. This is a great facility, the indoor walking track and basketball court are well maintained and clean. I had previously had a complaint about the weight equipment, but it seems those issues have been addressed. Also, I've finally taken advantage of the indoor pool, it's really great! Even during the snowstorm and sub zero temperatures earlier this year the the pool area was heated to a very comfortable temperature, and the pool itself is also heated! The swimming lanes are pleasant enough and the diving area is I think another 10 degrees warmer, it's very nice! I've never been to a community center that heated the indoor pool. Also, there is a storage area with foam noodles and foam pool weights so if you need to do some physical therapy those are also available! I've upgraded my review to give stars. I've been to commercial gyms that don't have as good of pool as this and they certainly were not this affordable!

Fantastic experience: Actually decided about 4 to 5years ago. Was very pleased with gladstone community center. The person running the indoor pool Area on the weekend, would let my friend go In, With his family And help his mentally challenge sister that was will chair bound

Fantastic experience: Nice facility. The only issue is you have to go up and down stairs to get in and out just to use a restroom.

Fantastic experience: Clean, friendly staff, and great water aerobics classes. You don't have to be a member to join the classes. Reasonable fees and even a Clay county senior grant.

Fantastic experience: The swiming pools are amazing has enough space for everyone. there swimming classes are also great that is were i learned to swim. in the first week of swim class i was scared to go in the water in the last week i was jumping of the divingboard i highly recommend this place

Fantastic experience: We joined to have a place to walk and exercise in the winter. Prefer walking outside but this past winter had a different plan. Employees are always willing to help and are really friendly.

Fantastic experience: While we haven’t used the indoor facilities a ton, the indoor and outdoor pool space is excellent. A good mix of spaces for younger and older kids. Facilities are clean and the staff is helpful and nice!

Fantastic experience: I literally play basketball here every weekend. The center is well taken care of. The rims aren't bent or leaning the nets are fully intact and the court is rarely even slippery.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. The gym has a lot of equipment and is a quiet area away from kids. The workout room overlooks the pool so you can watch your kids swim. They have a lap pool and a kiddie pool inside. The staff is always friendly and they take great care of my son in the kids room. And the locker rooms are always clean! And day passes are only $10!

Fantastic experience: A very nice community pool that is very reasonably priced. While the pool has always been a little crowded it does not typically seem OVER crowded.

Fantastic experience: I swim with the Gladstone US Masters Swim team at the community center pool. This is one of the best pools not only in the Northland, but in Kansas City. We are fortunate to have such nice facilities in the Northland.

Fantastic experience: This place is huge. I only went swimming here but had a chance to walk around a bit. They offer a nice gym and basketball courts. They have 2 pools, a deep pool with diving boards and a pool that goes to 3 ft that is nice to just relax in.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member almost since the center was opened. It is one of the very best bargains in Gladstone. There are facilities that are appropriate for nearly every age and the center is a huge aaset to the physical health of our community.

Fantastic experience: My daughter & I now belong to this community center, along with my son. My daughter & I play Bunco here once a month!! It's so much fun! The center is clean all the time! The pool looks awesome, can't wait to swim!

Fantastic experience: Perfect place to have our College gradation party. After American Legion rented their place out from underneath us and in need of a place for 50 people I called Gladstone Community Center. They were happy to help me. I had less then 24 hours to find another place. They were accommodating and the room was nice! Very pleased !

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves swimming there! She took lessons there. The people that did the lessons were fantastic. It is a great place to spend time on a weekend as well.

Fantastic experience: Go there swimming with my 6 year old and 9 year old quite frequently. It's a nice clean facility, and I always feel good as there's plenty of lifeguards watching the children. We also do swimming lessons through the center and they do a great job with the kids.

Fantastic experience: I take my kids every once in a while for the Indoor Leisure Pool so they can go swimming when it's cold out. Although it is a bit expensive at 10$ each it is worth it since they have a lot of lifeguards and I feel safe knowing that I can read and do other things while they have fun. The pool schedule is a bit weird so be sure to check it beforehand.

Fantastic experience: this is an extremely nice facility. I am a bus driver and see a lot of different places like this when hauling the schools swim team and without a doubt this is the best I have seen. Very clean, lots of parking, great spectator area for swim meet. I would definitely recommend the facility for anyone looking for a gym or a community center to take the kids to have fun.

Fantastic experience: I showed up at 5:30 am for an early morning workout, expecting to have the facility pretty much to myself. Apparently Gladstone's elderly population is highly motivated, because it was already busy when I arrived. #fitnessgoals

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to join. Great exercise equipment and all machines are well maintained. The community center is very clean and the employees are very nice and helpful. The community center features a diving well and swim lanes. Also a great area for younger kids to play in that features a three story slide. The gym has large basketball courts and a walking track above. They also have a babysitting area to watch younger kids while you exercise.
