ONYX Health Club 24/7 Niles

Fantastic experience: OK so the membership at my other gym was about to expire so I checked out Club Onyx Niles for a couple reasons the first because I heard it was the nicest in the area which I agree with, and the second reason was that I have been looking for an intense hip hop dance fitness class forever (since doing Groove and WERQ online during Covid) but there’s nothing around. I decided to try Tenley’s (sp?) WERQ class on a Saturday and let me tell u .. THIS CHICK WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST INSTRUCTORS IVE EVER HAD!!! I literally burned almost 600 calories and the music was freakin amazing, her energy is electric, it was challenging for sure but she shows you variations. As soon as we started, the nervousness went away and I instantly decided I’m gunna try to change my work schedule to go on tuesdays!! Didn’t renew with the other gym, they don’t have classes anyway, and other gyms don’t offer new and fun classes. Esp not like THIS I’m making all my nurse friends join too . They need to come with me

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Onyx over 1mth. All the staff is amazing. Music and atmosphere lets you be yourself. People are noticeably more in shape than other gyms I've been to. Personal training with Rob (crenshawfit330) Niles for only 4wks had made huge advances with my strength endurance and appearance..people in my circle has noticed changes! Love cooling down in the sauna post workout. Cone and see wuts up!!

Fantastic experience: Way better than planet fitness

Fantastic experience: Originally was a PF customer but didn't like the layout at the Niles location. So went to ONYX for a tour, signed up immediately. Equipment is a little outdated but they are upgrading currently but the atmosphere and space is what attracted me ( prefer to work out not be crowded by people socializing and not using equipment)

Positive experience: nice gym. good and clean, very helpful and friendly trainers. bit crowded with all the materials but it works fine.

Fantastic experience: I decided to walk into the gym and check it out. Alyssa (the manager) convinced me to get a membership at a good price because I told her I was currently in a funk. She insisted it would only help me make an improvement in my life. I also used my free personal training class w Rob. He wanted to keep training me so after putting a weeks work in on my own, I started training with Rob. Some days the workouts are tough but like he says “it’s not meant to be easy”. Overall, I already feel better. I’m eating better, I’m sleeping better and I am in a better mood. I would highly recommend Onyx Health Club. Alyssa and Rob are both great, motivational experts who can truly help out when you need it. The smoothies there are really good too and the price for everything is very affordable. Thank you Onyx Fitness!!

Fantastic experience: If you need a personal trainer, you need to contact Rob ASAP. Truly the best personal training experience I have ever had. He is very personable, doesn’t try to sell you on anything, down to earth, incredibly honest and truly cares about your well being. He pushes you outside your comfort zone and has your overall goals in mind. I highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Onyx for a little more than a year now. The facilities are nice and they are always improving them. There’s a rock wall, smoothie bar, tons of cardio equipment, machines, free weights, and circuit training. They have a great staff there and tons of classes you can join. I’ve also been training with Mike Prindle who has been a big help getting me into a routine and helping me with a diet plan. I can’t speak highly enough of the benefits of one on one training. You choose what you want to improve on and they will tailor a program suited to help you meet your goals. I highly recommend this gym and the training programs.

Fantastic experience: This is definitely the most welcomed I've felt at a gym ever. The atmosphere is great, The people are high energy and very motivating and will get you to where you wanna be. I'm very excited to see where my new fitness journey takes me with my new found friends! First gym ever that is 100% non-judgmental. They are there for you and help motivate you and push you to get to your goal that you set for yourself. And I love the fact that they're highly clean and they got a lot of things extra amenities that come with your membership like Zumba spend and different things and they got so many different types of workout equipment that you can use. And I love that they have a kids club where you can drop your kids off and they watch your kids way you work out. very up and honest and upfront about the cost and how much you're a membership is what's included with your membership and they have different payment options and stuff that your budget.

He created a great starting work out for me to test where I am currently at with my physical well being. Every staff member I have encountered thus far have been fantastic high energy people who clearly want to see people get the best out of themselves!

Fantastic experience: Onyx is home away from home fitness facility. Rob Crenshaw is the top of the line fitness guru with a very knowledgeable staff and personal trainers! You can’t put a price on getting in shape and staying healthy but this was Money well spent! Thanks to Rob and Autumn I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time.

They have a wide variety of equipment, a lot of great classes all included, great support platforms, open 24/7, kids room so that busy/single parents have the opportunity to come. I've never been a fan of going to the gym but since joining I've never been so excited and motivated to come back. They are definitely worth checking out!

Fantastic experience: Racheal is the best, Chris is “ok” but seriously it’s a pretty great gym. They really are open 24/7 which even planet fitness is not. They also have a sauna included with membership and the personal training is very in depth and hands on. They have a machine that reads your body fat percentages when you sign up so it really helps you visualize your specific goals and explain your body circumstances to you. Highly recommend and worth the price of personal training.

I love the atmosphere there everyone was very welcoming and the culture is amazing. I feel it is a pretty awesome place to be I must say My personal trainer is awesome as well as the staff. Fantastic experience: After yesterday I am expressing my gratitude and thank you for the introduction to ONYX. From Buhl Club, NCYMCA, Iron Works of New Castle, Planet Fitness, Anytime Fitness & of course University Center & Fieldhouse gym I used when I attended Edinboro from 1998-2003. Your facility is by far the best offering I’ve seen as I see from realistic standards point what you offer versus what you could offer or be. Plus, you have several items from masseuse, chiropractor, climbing wall and very extremely diverse class offerings unlike anything g I’ve seen unless you live in NYC, LV, LA, Miami or Boston. To have it throughout Ohio is simply amazing. Nico, did an excellent job showing me around the health club and answering any question I had as did you. Plus phone call from Vicki was excellent as well. As you are truly a team not one or two people trying to do everything. How ONYX uses TikTok, IG, Facebook and website is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. It’s something I’m glad to see! With three floors of fun and utilization I’m eager and will be pleasantly satisfied using. I’ll admit I thought monthly fee would be higher yet you provide a membership fee that is very reasonable and I’m getting more far more than what I’ve paid for over last 14 years as I tend to go to Arnold Sports Festival, I’ve been looking for this. I can’t wait to see what third floor becomes. Yes, anyone I know looking for better, more unique and fulfilling fitness & wellness option I’ll be recommending ONYX.

By far my best experience yet; the worker who gave me a tour, Ryan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made it a no pressure, easy sign up process. He was amazing and I would totally recommend this gym to everyone in the area.

Only have to wait sometimes when it is busy. Personal trainer Chris is very knowledgeable and helpful with health and fitness and have a good consultation.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member to so many other gyms. This is not like any other gym or fitness center. This is a welcoming environment. The staff is professional, courteous and supportive. Since day 1, The staff took the time to get to know me and what I was there for. I was not just another client giving money to a fitness center. I was someone who was there on a journey to better myself and they have been supportive the entire way. If you do not take the opportunity to at least stop by and check the place out and meet the staff then you are only limiting yourself and your journey to a healthier and better you.

Fantastic experience: My home gym since 2012. Beautiful three-story building with a climbing wall, spinning area, clean equipment, fantastic classes, fitness leaders and trainers. The kindness exuded feels like family! Did I mention the elevator and tanning beds...?

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place. All the employees are great. Mike Prindle is a fantastic trainer. If you're looking to find a trainer to push you he's definitely going to push you to your limits and maybe a bit further than what you thought was possible.

Fantastic experience: Weight area is small but well stocked. The classes really stand out. The yoga instructors are the top flow instructors in the area.

Fantastic experience: I have been to MANY local gyms, but I just started going here in June after not working out for a while. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the diverse types of equipment, services, and classes. I feel like there is something for everyone! My kids love the childcare room; it has tons of fun toys to keep them busy. Also, I have found the staff to be so friendly and welcoming to me! I am not an outgoing person by nature, but they have opened me up more. They are another reason that I enjoy it and am motivated to keep coming back :)

Fantastic experience: I haven’t had a bad experience here yet! I’m surprised by previous comments of staff being rude because they have ALWAYS smiled and greeted me at the door when I arrive and when I leave and they hustle! I’ve been to many gyms all around America ( husband was military) and this is by far the cleanest gym I have ever been in! Love that it is 3 floors with lots of equipment. Wide range of classes and they offer a sauna and nice showers. Great place to work out!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the classes here, specifically Barre, spinning and turbo kick. There’s a variety of equipment and machines that are nice, but I mostly attend classes and can’t verify how often they’re broken. Staff is courteous and professional when I’ve spoken with them.
