CHEER

CHEER provides a wide range of services for seniors, from personal care and transportation to housing and meals. We also offer a mobile grocery store, nutrition programs, support groups, companionship, and housekeeping services. Our state-of-the-art activity centers are located throughout Sussex County, providing a comprehensive care solution for older adults.

CHEER operates centers throughout Sussex County to provide activities and nutrition as well as events for mature adults. Each center has a full staff including a center director, kitchen manager, and outreach worker. The centers provide a place for socialization and recreation for mature adults.

Your contributions to CHEER will help us to promote and maintain a high quality of life and independence for our mature population throughout Sussex County. Your gift will help us to expand and diversify a wide range of services and programs supporting healthy and active lifestyles for our members 50 years and over, as well as providing support for their family members and caregivers.

CHEER will be closed on Monday, June 20, 2022 in order to recognize Juneteenth as an official holiday. Juneteenth is a day full of pride and heritage for many African Americans, and CHEER wants to show its support for this important day.
