Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality The gym is always spotless! Great staff always willing to compromise and help out guest. Locker room is spick and span. Music and tv are always putting you in a great mood to keep working out and getting those gains.

Positive experience: I've been a member here for close to 3 years. It's definitely not a beginner gym, everybody goes about their business , they know what they're doing. They have ample amount of machines balance with free weights and cardio equipment. Plus two closed off rooms for Fitness classes Etc... one of the rooms also contains a heavy bag and various other equipment. The other has heavy ropes, with other alternative training devices.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, patrons, circuit class and trainer Patrick modifies for my limitations and still intense for me.

Fantastic experience: I think Celine is a credit to this fitness gym. She is the most helpful person here since I have been coming to this charter fitness in merrillville. She is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, as well as professional!!!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy this gym, I workout here five times a week. Chase, Dre, Zack, Pat and Saleen are always welcoming, positive, helpful and very knowledgeable. The culture at Charter Fitness Merrillville is to give your best in every workout to get optimum results. The staff also works out frequently and will not hesitate to give you tips on how to improve your workout and reach your fitness goals. I give Charter Fitness Merrillville 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: my experiance here is great, i love the staff they are very personable and helpful, the equipment is very easy to use and even more equipment has been added, I like that the gym has a family atmosphere so I would recomend this gym to anyone looking for a good place to workout

Fantastic experience: Very friendly service but most importantly the place is clean. My wife and I have been a member since 2007 and we both love the atmosphere even through the change of ownership. Keep up the excellent work thank you for all the upgrades. Celine Tucker is an awesome person she's always greeting everyone making the place warm and welcome.

Fantastic experience: A lot of changes have been made to the Charter Fitness in Merrillville - in a good way. They just went 24/7, 2 massage chairs are available, Silver Sneakers and senior classes, yoga classes, etc. The staff there is very friendly and always willing to help. The personal trainers, Liz, Zach and Pat are are all very knowledgeable. You can tell everyone there really cares about their clients. I love attending the team classes. People who attend are of all abilities and everyone cheers each other on. It's a very encouraging environment that makes you want to keep coming back!

Fantastic experience: ...back in the day (lol), I was one of those gym rats with memberships at several gyms in the area...but as life happens, you realize you really just need one "go to" spot to get it done...for the past couple of years, Charter Fitness has been that spot...friendly, attentive staff and all the equipment you need to "get it done"!

Fantastic experience: i would like to take a minute and give you some info on Charter Fitness . My husband and I have been a member here at the Merrillville location from day one. We have seen many changes through out these past few years . But it’s truly for the better! If you are looking for gym that has something to offer. Like an exercise class they have Team training classes with two very qualified trainers. ( Pat & Zak) Who also offer personal training. Then there is yoga to include classes for seniors. With trainer ( Liz) . Charters in Merrillville has so many workout machines to include free weights! Plus they have added so much more. Then there is the staff, they are so friendly & welcoming. You have Chase, Dre & Celine. Who are always there to help. They even have two massage chairs to help with all of your aches and pains. It’s also great for recovery after exercise. For you seniors out there they even offer Silver Sneakers .I definitely would recommend Charter Fitness in Merrillville.

It's a really easy place to make new friends, especially since most of the people you run into go to the gym on a regular basis. Plus they also have a phenomenal staff! Shout out to Celine, Will, Zack, and Haley! Some of the best gym staffed I've ever met.

Fantastic experience: So, I have been to a lot of different gyms and the Charter Fitness in Merrillville is the friendliest, cleanest, and most welcoming gym I have ever been to. The equipment is kept clean, the staff are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, and I have never felt uncomfortable working out here which has been a HUGE issue at other gyms. I have had more progress in my health going to this gym than any other gym I have been to.

Fantastic experience: Used to train here when I lived in the area. It's a fantastic place to train. Spacious, friendly staff & patrons, well maintained & did I mention towel service? I miss this gym!
