Fantastic experience: Sami Dennon,... ...is an example of what leadership in this company looks like at its very best! Sam, along with colleagues JT and Jacob....should receive top Company honors for so many exemplary attributes...., not the least of which is getting this location through the initial years of the COVID 19 pandemic. I would make the case and assert that a fitness facility, i.e., Crunch, must at all times be about membership, yes. Of course. But also MORE than just membership. It must be PRO-HEALTH in as many ways as possible.. Translated: this means keen attention to physical health, mental health, interdisciplinary teamwork, and facility upkeep, to name but a few elements of what 'health' looks like. Sam Dennon is an off- the- curve exemplary employee. Please do more than just recognize her for all of the above. Please double her salary!!!

Fantastic experience: Used their free one-day trial offer. The gym looks great. They have lots of fitness offerings in the form of classes, private trainers, massage & monthly membership options. The space was clean and not too cramped although it was very busy at the time we went. There was no high-pressure sales pitch. They let the gym speak for itself! The customers were friendly. Chill, relaxed atmosphere overall with a variety of fitness levels present and it seemed all were welcomed. As an overweight middle-aged woman, I didn't get body checked or stared at once making me feel welcomed and comfortable. I can't say that abouttother gyms I've paid good money to access.

Fantastic experience: Checks every box for what I want in a gym. Has more than I wanted, and joining was the best investment in myself I've made in a long time.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for lifting, cardio, and free workout space. Can get very crowded sometimes but it’s worth it for sure. They also have tanning and massage services available.

Fantastic experience: The vibes have always been good. Even when it's busy, the gym community have always been kind, supportive, encouraging, patient, and considerate.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Came to Lawrence for a travel nurse contract. Ended up paying about $60 a month for the most basic membership because they charge you a start up fee and an annual fee at month 3. And I was only going to stay 3 months. They also have a 30 day cancellation notice. So I got screwed I'm every way. But great gym lol.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic!! My wife and I were passing through town. We're Crunch members in our home state so we stopped by for an early morning workout. We were immediately greeted by some very polite and enthusiastic staff members who made us feel right at home. We've been to Crunch Fitness Centers from coast-to-coast and they're all great but we've seen none better than this one. They have rows and rows of cardio machines, lots of benches, tons of weights including dumbbells up to 150 lbs., these great rope machines that we've never seen before, and any piece of fitness equipment you could possibly need, people of all ages and sizes training hard (nobody on their cell phones, no chit-chatters), everyone very polite, everything clean and organized. They even have child care. If you're looking for a gym, you have to check this place out. This place is the best!

Fantastic experience: Clean, and friendly staff. They have sanitizing solution available to clean the equipment once you're done. Nobody seems to be paying much attention to others--which is a good thing. I don't feel stared at or judged even as a disabled fat person. They have a good selection of cardio AND weight machines. Nice relaxation area if you have the higher $$ membership. Snacks and drinks available to buy inside as well. Busyness level varies by day and time.

Fantastic experience: I have loved it here at crunch the past 2+years of being here. Definitely way better than a Genesis and cheaper price. I wish they had more “snack” available items. They have preworkout drinks you can buy there which is a plus. Practically here everyday for my workout sessions. :-)

Positive experience: Knowledgeable trainers always available. Practically everything I would want in the gym. It's especially busy Monday through Wednesday. Music's loud and full of energy. Bright Lights very energetic place

Fantastic experience: Went here when I was in college. I wasn’t using for some months after I moved out of Kansas. I called to see if I could get a refund and they gave it to me most gyms would not do this. The manager that worked there when I started was great, and so was the one when I left. Also better than any other gym in town while also being the cheapest. Great gym all around, especially with the sauna.. I don’t leave reviews much but had to come back years later and leave this for anyone considering gyms. Don’t waste time trying trash Planet fitness, or all the others that are super overpriced.

Fantastic experience: Joined 3 weeks ago, very clean, friendly staff. Love the classes they offer. I started training with a personal trainer 2 weeks ago, it's kicking my butt, but it feels so good to be working out again & the trainers are very knowledgeable & keep you motivated!

Fantastic experience: I loved this gym. It was always clean and had good space if you went at a good time of day. I worked with a trainer and had good results, and also loved both the zumba and barre classes. The only reason I canceled my membership was because I moved. They made canceling easy and didn't try to guilt me or anything. I recommend this place to anyone. Their staff is great.

Fantastic experience: Quickly turning into THE gym for Lawrence. Very clean. Plenty of space and equipment. Locker room has always been tidy. Sauna is a nice free feature. Great starting price.

Fantastic experience: I started out with a 3 month package with a personal trainer. I have had such amazing success working with Aeron that I've decided to keep up the training. My goal was just to increase my fitness level, I never imagined how quickly I would be gaining super strength. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Best decision that Imade was to hire Aeron to be my personal trainer. He is knowledgeable, encouraging and just a awesome person. We work on mobility, how to breathe and brace my core. I feel better, I’m looking better and my posture has improved. If you are struggling to get back into the gym or feel intimated by the equipment I recommend personal training. Thank you Aeron!

Fantastic experience: Staff is always welcoming and there is plenty of equipment so I don't feel crowded. Hydro massage is included with membership. I would definitely recommend trying that.

Fantastic experience: Cheap prices, and offers just as much as some of the other local gyms. There are plenty of treadmills, workout machines, a HIIT training area, locker rooms with showers, and personal trainers ready to help once you set up a plan with them.

Everybody is friendly and make you feel comfortable being there. They're all easy to talk to and not as intimidating as they may seem.

Fantastic experience: Cheap monthly membership, with awesome perks? Sign me up anytime! And a very diverse selection of free weights, machines, and post-workout things (hydro therapy, among other things) to help your body recuperate. All make this place one worth your time and money, not to mention making yourself healthier & better

Fantastic experience: Love this gym so much staff is awesome and I have changed my whole life there. 397lbs to 237lbs was my lowest. Keep pushing forward and stay motivated. “NEVER GIVE UP” is my quote.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member for over a year now and it's been a real pleasure. Their trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. I've been pleased with their COVID response and dedication to cleaning and enabling socially distant workouts.

Fantastic experience: I love Crunch. The staff is so friendly and fun. I also love my trainer. Conner Walter is the best. He works me hard but he makes it fun so the time with him goes by fast.

Fantastic experience: Though I’m disappointed by the current mask mandates (wearing one while you workout sucks) the facility is so clean, the staff are all so nice and the childcare is the best I’ve ever used. All for a month to month membership that won’t break your pockets. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: Joining Crunch was one of the best decisions I've made for my health. Crunch offers weights, cardio equipment, Spin classes, and numerous types of group fitness classes all at an affordable price. The classes are fantastic, there is always a locker free to store my items during my workout, the gym is clean, and the staff are very friendly greeting you when you come and leave. I also highly recommend investing in a personal trainer here if you are like me and didn't know how to properly use any of the equipment and in need of a push towards great health! The only downsides: small parking lot, only one water fountain, and right next to Freddy's (which always smells tempting after an afterwork workout).

Fantastic experience: Lawrence Crunch is a great gym! The attitude and sense of positivity in this gym is awesome. No matter who is at the front desk, they are super cheerful and ready to help you. I think this kind of attitude has spread throughout the gym because everyone seems to be in a good mood. There's a wide range of people working out, from those just starting their fitness journey (or, like me, starting again after 5 years and 50lbs), to those who look like they are professionals. Regardless, there's no judging, and space for everyone. The machines are taken care of, people wipe down after they are done and weights aren't left laying around the gym. The mid level membership grants you access to the hydro massage (great after a workout) or the tanning booths. Overall, the vibe here is very cool, very positive. I know this will be my gym until I leave Lawrence.

Fantastic experience: For the price the gym is constantly being maintained and offers updated equipment and a nice sauna! The staff is always friendly and also keeping the place clean! When equipment breaks they get it fixed in an acceptable amount of time. I've been to others gyms and so far this one has them beat!! I'll be glad when the hours go back to 24hrs, but I do understand the guidelines during this time.

Fantastic experience: Switched from Planet Fitness to Crunch. Love that they have squat racks! Love that you can do deadlifts and bring your water bottles with you. Friendly staff, clean tanning beds, clean gym, only downside is it is BUSY all the time. Unless you want to go between 2-4am plan for it to be pretty busy, during the week.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many Crunch Fitness gyms and this one is superb! It's an updated design very different from the blue walls and stuff of past Crunches. Very open architecture so you don't feel like you're working out in a cramped cave. Not to mention the staff is super friendly and very fun group. Other gyms should be ran like this!

Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly and inviting! This is a great, clean place to workout. Lots of equipment and knowledgeable personal trainers. I am moving out of Lawrence so I unfortunately had to cancel my membership but Evan helped me cancel it with no fees or issues. He was very kind and helpful. Easiest gym membership cancellation I have ever done, hands down. I wish there was a Crunch near my new home!

Fantastic experience: I left Planet Fitness and switched to Crunch. Crunch has way more to offer for similar pricing. The atmosphere is really fun and all the employees have been super helpful, nice, and upbeat! They have plenty of classes offered throughout the week- My favorite is the Ride class. It's a great gym- what more is there to say? :)

Fantastic experience: New to the gym thing, but the few times I’ve been in there the staff is extremely helpful and the place has everything I wanted! Daycare for kids was a big deal also and they did great with my son. No complaints here! Staff only is why I will keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Lawrence! Joined several months ago looking for a good place with free weights, cardio equipment, machines, and space to do my own workouts. Crunch has it all for a super low monthly price, plus more amenities than you'd expect. On top of having a variety of available equipment, the HIITzone is great for stretching, bodyweight workouts, sprints, and boxing. I continue to recommend Crunch to everyone in the Lawrence area because it's so well done. The gym is never too busy to work out, but has enough members to tell that it is thriving and continuing to become the top one in the area. Other benefits of Crunch include clean locker rooms, lockers to use, showers, and a sauna. Doesn't get any better than this gym.

Fantastic experience: Worked out here for a couple weeks before having to move for work. I loved the gym and all of its amenities. I will definitely recommend this crunch location to all my friends or family looking for a gym in the Lawrence area!

Fantastic experience: I love the price options, the space and equipment, and the people. The staff is nice, and the gym-goers seem excited to be there. Favorite things about this gym include the HIIT area complete with sled and heavy bags, and the sauna. I only wish there were more locations in Kansas.

There was a misunderstanding about my payments and contract and I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when Evan worked with me to get it fixed right away without any issues. It is so nice to know that the staff here are working to build trust with their clients and are going above and beyond to create a positive gym culture and experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Very affordable. No contract bs. A huge assortment of equipment that you wouldn't expect of a commercial gym. Overall, crunch fitness takes a huge dump on planet fitness.

If you wanna sauna, tan, personal train, hit cardio, or just power lift on some fresh equipment, they got it all with good proces on there membership. Manager is a superb human being and will work with u on any budget issue you have so you can get good gym time. Kid care for certain membership for parents. All around great gym

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going for a few months now both in the morning and the evening. The staff is great and I rarely have to wait for a bench or a weight rack. The Fit3D machine has been super helpful for tracking progress. The amount of information is gives you about yourself is also convenient for clothing measurements and posture wellness.

Fantastic experience: I started a membership with Crush for a short time before moving out of town. I had to cancel my membership after 1.5 months and they waived the annual fee and didnt charge a cancellation fee. Thanks to Evan Johnson, who I believe is the GM, it was an extremely easy and stress-free process. Great gym with nice equipment and friendly, positive staff. I would highly highly suggest them for any type of fitness.
