Positive experience: I was home for Thanksgiving and stopped in for a class and they treated me like one of their own. The instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable; even let us pick the music for the WOD! Great box! Couldn't say I love it (5 stars) only because I can't give it more props than my home box, CrossFit Steele Creek.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting for 2 weeks and joined the gym going week to week. Jesse is an awesome coach and the atmosphere was very welcoming! Was nice to see another fellow Canadian down south so we were off to a good start already. I did my final open workout here and one of the coaches stuck around to judge which was very accommodating. 5/5 will absolutely be back my next visit.

Fantastic experience: Great local box in the south strand area of Myrtle Beach, SC. The owner, Jesse, is very knowledgeable and brings great energy to the box. The box runs on the smaller side and has a great community vibe to it. It is definitely a box where everyone knows everyone. I'd recommend to drop ins visiting the area from out of town or for those in the local area as well!

Fantastic experience: This box welcomes you in as family. We are all about community and having fun together. The coaches are knowledgeable and always pushing you to be better and challenge yourself. The training is hard but always worth it!!

Fantastic experience: We dropped in while on vacation in Garden City and look forward to coming back on all future trips. It was immediately a warm and welcoming atmosphere (just like our home box CrossFit Clemson) and we found Matt’s and Caleb’s coaching to be superb! If you’re looking for a no-nonsense box with great programming and attentive coaching, make this your box-away-from home!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! Not only the staff but also the regulars that attend are incredibly welcoming and are dedicated to making you the best athlete you can be. Coaches are extremely friendly and encouraging and focus on safety and form above all else. If you are anywhere in the area and need a solid workout, stop by this box!

Fantastic experience: Great people at this BOX. Needed to knock 18.1 out. Matt was great and allowed me to jump in with everyone. Lots of friendly people showing up to also do 18.1, they were having a great time and very friendly. Talking with the coaches who had a great amount of background and knowledge made 18.1 well worth it. Check them out... !

Fantastic experience: I dropped in after moving here with every intention to visit every box in the area and grab as many “free trials” as possible. I could tell on my first day there that something was different. The attitude of the coaches, the atmosphere in the box, it was all somehow on another level. The coaches and members are some of the most genuine, motivating and caring people I have met. I am honored to have become a member of the community here.

Fantastic experience: If you are in the Myrtle Beach area, there are several boxes. I promise that the few extra mile to Murrells Inlet will be worth it. Every time I visit, I am introduced to everyone present and feel very welcome. Every Wod is intense, challenging and educational. Fantastic experience: CrossFit HSLD is a box with a positive, inclusive, and no excuses atmosphere. The coaches scale anything and everything to ensure you maximize your workout. They have a “no limits” attitude for each and every athlete. The coaches focus on safety, technique, and ensure you have a strong foundation. The athletes in the box are so welcoming that you feel you have known everyone your whole life. The facility itself is newly renovated with plenty of room.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best place for CrossFit, regardless of experience level, even if you’ve never tried it before! The owner truly cares about his members, and safety is #1 which is super important. Not all other CrossFit boxes have an emphasis on proper form and safety like this one does. I’m regularly hearing new members and drop ins comment how this place is sooo much better than the box they used to go to. I’ve been a member going on 3 years now, and now my wife goes 2x a day, my nephew is a member, and my son will soon be joining! The extended access outside regularly scheduled classes is icing on the cake; now there’s never an excuse to not get your workout in!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Matt for an awesome drop in. Dropped in with my wife for one day. Went in thinking of doing the wod and staying for open gym to get some heavy back squats and deadlifts in, low and behold that was part of the wod. The gym is great and reminds me of the way box's were in '09. Small and full of energy. Cleanest crossfit bathroom I've ever seen. Wish we had stayed in Myrtle longer so we could have gone again! Great active duty military drop in rates.

Fantastic experience: In town for Vacation and the Salt Games when we found this box as a place to warm up. They were closed but he owner was going in to clean up and allowed us to come in. I have been doing Crossfit for a little over a month and was impressed with what I learned in just one trip. This will be my spot when we come to our condo!
