” I was out of breath by the time I reached the top of the stairs, and my kids were begging me to play with them. But after a minute, I was telling them to leave me alone. When I took them to play in the back yard, I would ride on the lawnmower so that I wouldn't have to walk back up the hill.

” After joining Fit Body Boot Camp, I posted my pictures on Facebook with the caption, ‘Why didn’t someone tell me I was that big?’ The scary thing is that not only did I not realize that I was that big, but I also did not realize that I was being lazy and neglecting my health and my family.

” I had convinced myself that it was no big deal; I will go on a diet tomorrow, or I will make time for a healthier lifestyle later. Then my wife Shanna found FBBC. She asked me to do it with her. Immediately I started with the excuses: I’m too busy, I can do it myself, I don’t have time, I don’t want to. She stayed on me and finally said, ‘I don’t care if you do it, but I am doing it.’ So, I agreed to do it on one condition: we do it right, and we push each other. To that, she agreed. We would have never imagined how much more that would become. I was trying to convince myself that it wasn't a big deal and that I could go on a diet or make time for a healthier lifestyle later. But then my wife Shanna found FBBC. She asked me to do it with her, and I immediately started making excuses. I was too busy, I could do it myself, I didn't have time, I didn't want to. But she stayed on me and finally said, "I don't care if you do it, but I am doing it." So I agreed to do it on one condition: we do it right and we push each other. To that, she agreed. We would have never imagined how much more that would become.

” We started week one on Saturday by planning our meals for the upcoming week together. On Monday, Shanna went to the 7:45 a.m. class while I stayed home. When she got back, she looked at me and started to tell me about her experience. I stopped her; I told her I didn’t want to know. I went to the 9:15 a.m. class and I made it about 4 minutes before I had to hold back the urge to throw up. How could something this easy be this hard? I was an athlete, right? I proudly served this country as a Military Police officer. Where did that guy go? It was at that moment that I could finally see the big, lazy, and unhealthy me. Now I could see what I had been doing to myself and my family. It was time to fix that.

” My wife and I both went to boot camp and I lost 10% body fat while she only lost 4%. I encouraged her to keep going and she eventually caught up to me.

” A few more weeks later and Shanna had lost 17 pounds and 12.5% body fat - quite the comeback! When it was my turn to weigh in, I had lost 50 pounds exactly and almost 21% body fat. I felt like a different person, and I certainly look like one too.

” I am so proud of what Shanna and I have accomplished, and we have certainly become ambassadors for fitness, eating healthy, and of course, FBBC. We share our story with whoever will listen. However, it is hard to fathom how many people one person affects.

” I have found that the most effective way to impact their lives is to live my life the right way and set the example. Because someone is always looking at you, learning from you, and trying to be like you, think about it, if the people around you become like you, is that a good thing or a bad thing? What kind of example do you set when you think no one is looking?

” The first day of Fit Body Boot Camp, I had a biopsy of a lump in my breast. Even though I was scheduled for the biopsy, I still went to the morning session of FBBC. The next day I found out that the lump was non-cancerous. I started a new full-time job the next day that required extended hours and intense training.

I am so proud of myself and the progress I have made.” I was living in a body I was ashamed of for many years. I was continuously tired and depressed and knew I needed a major change in my life. Instead of allowing pre-existing conditions and unusual circumstances get in the way, I committed to my decision and followed the Fit Body plan. I am no longer tempted by unhealthy foods because my cravings for carbs and sugar are now gone. I consistently attend workouts six days per week at FBBC, even accomplishing a double, for a total of 48 sessions! I am now stronger and have more endurance. I modify the exercises as needed and always do my best. I love the variety of workouts, and the trainers are amazing! I am so proud of myself and the progress I have made.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I joined Fit Body Boot Camp. I was down in life in many ways and saw the camp on my way to work. Something inside me told me to check it out and I did. I joined to get myself back in shape and to race Motocross after taking seven years off. It turned into so much more than that.

I had a non-scale victory in June 2018 when I survived a heart attack that the doctors called the 'widow maker.' I was 90% blocked, and on this day it became 100% blocked. I had to have a stent put in, and when the doctor visited after the procedure, he asked where I was health-wise before joining Fit Body. He said that if I had been in the same condition when I joined, I probably would not have survived.

I joined FBBC with my wife Rebecca after she was diagnosed with stage three carcinoma cancer of her right kidney. She had been experiencing some abdominal pain during a workout and we decided to get it checked out. Luckily, we found out about the cancer early and she was able to undergo surgery. She's doing great now and is on the road to recovery. Without FBBC, we may never have known about Rebecca's cancer.

I was hesitant to try Fit Body Boot Camp at first because I overheard some ladies at the baseball field talking about the 6-week challenge and saw friends posting about it on Facebook. However, I decided to give it a try after hearing about the Empower program, a 4-week program specifically for women. I joined with the goal of losing weight and getting into shape, and ended up loving the workouts and the people. I didn't tell anyone about it at first because I was afraid of failing, but I realized I had nothing to lose.

Before I joined Fit Body, I was always tired. I would work all day and then come home and want to lay on the couch. I didn't like myself at all. I also had no desire to go out places because I felt horrible about how I looked and felt. I struggled with a poor self-image and was eating bad food and some days fast food 3 x a day! I was a very unhappy person who ate food to try and make myself feel better. Food was a reward after a long day, a celebration when things went well and comforted me when they didn't.

I thought I was too busy to take time to exercise and eat healthily! I work full time, have four children all involved in sports, and am also the president of our local school athletic booster club. I lost myself for many years taking care of my family and putting other’s first. I now realize that if I don’t take care of myself, I am not of much use to others. Because of the relationships that I have developed with other members and the coaches, I am on the journey to becoming the best me I can be. I continue to set goals, and now when I ‘fail’ I don’t give up, I simply start again. Yes, I am still hard on myself at times, but I am learning to love myself, and like the person I am.

I used to have no energy, be really self-conscious about how I looked, and never would've attempted anything new, but now I have so much more energy and I'm way more confident. People tell me I have a sparkle in my eye now. When I started boot camp I couldn't even do one push up from my knees or hold a dead bug, but now I can do ten regular push ups and hold a dead bug even with a 20-pound weight! I have a better relationship with food now too. While I still love food, I use it as fuel instead of using it as a comfort or reward like I used to. I've also lost 49 pounds, 50 inches, and 15% body fat. I'm stronger than I have been in many years and I even have started to have a waist. I started at a size 18 pant and XXL top and now I'm a size 8/10 pant with a medium size top in most things.

” I first found out about FBBC from ads on Facebook. I thought about joining, but I was worried it would be a waste of money like all the other weight loss and fitness programs I've tried in the past. But then my friends Jon and Kathy did a challenge and loved it, so they encouraged me to try one too.

I began my journey in February 2017 when I decided to sign up. I struggled with my self-confidence because I was overweight, among other things. I had gained several pounds in the previous few years and was heavier than I had ever been, even with my pregnancies. I hated pictures of myself and there is a period of time where I have no pictures of me with my children.

I joined FBBC after having success with the first challenge I tried. I wanted to continue to lose weight, gain muscle, and improve my health. For the first time in my adult life, I actually enjoyed working out and didn't find it boring. I found the environment created by the trainers and other staff to be supportive, non-judgmental, and encouraging. The workouts are short but intense and effective. I like that it’s a different workout every day, so I don’t get bored. I appreciate being told what to do, when to do it, and how to do it safely. The fellow members come in all shapes, sizes, capabilities, and are encouraging and non-judgmental, as well. FBBC is a community and a family.

After finding FBBC, I finally had the guidance I needed to improve my lifestyle. The staff is supportive, and the other members are friendly and motivating. I’ve learned how to eat better and enjoy working out. I’ve also made great friends here that help keep me accountable. I clicked on the Facebook ad for boot camp and looked at the before and after pictures and videos. I thought it looked fun and not too intense. I signed up for the 12-Week Challenge in September 2018 with a friend.

I realized that I needed to make a change when I started to notice that I was putting on weight. I knew that the longer I waited to lose the weight, the harder it would be. I had a hard time controlling my eating habits - I would overeat, and I loved junk food. I wouldn't stop eating when I was full, I would only stop when the food was gone. Making a change was hard, but I knew I needed to do it for my health. I started by slowly changing my eating habits. I cut out junk food and started eating more healthy meals. I also started working out more frequently. It was a slow process, but eventually I started to see results.

” The first few weeks after changing my diet were really tough. I kept asking myself why I was doing this and wondering if it was worth it. But then, after about three weeks, people started to notice a difference in my body. I had tried to lose weight before, but I never really saw any changes in my body. This time, though, I started feeling stronger, and people could actually see a difference. That made me more motivated to keep going. Now, six months later, I don't have any doubts about whether it was worth it.

Since joining, I have felt better about myself. I have also gotten compliments from people who haven't seen me in a while. I like how my clothes fit and I sleep so much better. My upper body strength has increased and I have lost 29 pounds and 46 inches. I have been able to turn down chocolate, which felt impossible before. Now I know it's ok to satisfy my sweet tooth once in a while, just not multiple times a day, every day. I'm committed!

” Since taking on the Fit Body challenge, it has become a integral part of my life. I completed one challenge and then immediately signed up for another, and now I am just finishing my second challenge. I remain as motivated now as I was on the first day. My husband and kids have been very supportive throughout my journey and have encouraged me every step of the way. My teenagers have even told me multiple times how proud they are of me.

I am 37 years old, and I have an amazing family. My 2-year-old girl Camila, my 7-year-old boy Carlo Adrian, and my beautiful wife, Mary are all together and we have gone through everything that life has brought our way.

” My son tells me that he wants me to live for a long time and stay in shape. I joined FBBC in 2015 and it has been my go-to place during the good and bad times. My competitive and military traits have both been perfect tools for success. FBBC is like a second family and they celebrate my love for fitness, but life is a challenge, and I fell off track.

” There always seemed to be an excuse for why I couldn't make time for my health; whether it was working extra hours or trying to find time for the kids. I would always put myself last on my list of priorities, thinking that was the right thing to do. I was using my lunch break to pick up my son at school every day and eating whatever fast-food meal fit the remainder of my time. I wanted to spend time with my wife and kids, so I was going to bed at 1 am and then waking up at 4 am to start my workday. All of these little moments added up, and before I knew it, my health was raising the white flag.

” I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and pre-diabetes. I remember when my wife started filling her ears with bright orange wax plugs to get through the night. She said I would snore so loudly that it sounded like a train, and then there would be moments where I wouldn't breathe at all. I would be out of breath just from sitting down, and I felt like I was gasping for air in between bites of food. I only had a couple of hours of sleep every night, and I couldn't even put my socks and tie my shoes because my stomach felt so constrained. It was a vicious cycle.

” The new year felt like a chance to start fresh and do things differently than I had in the past. It felt like an answer to my prayers.

I mentioned that I have always enjoyed physical fitness, and FBBC made it even more worthwhile. I was off balance with my food intake. Whenever I went out to dinner, I would tell the waitress that I had a food allergy to vegetables, so that they wouldn’t even think of adding them to my plate. I would then have double the carb or meat portion.

” I have learned to appreciate and make healthy salads that are still delicious. My support group at FBBC was amazing and taught me a lot. I used to think that the Caesar salad was the only good option, but I was wrong. I have become an expert at managing my taste buds and being conscious of what I can and should be eating. I was so good at meal prepping that my parents invited us to dinner one night. They prepared a salad that was amazing!

” I had all the right pieces to my puzzle. The best part was watching the people closest to me look at me in disbelief. That was like motivation to keep going! My co-workers started to join the movement and eat healthier too. My brother even signed up at a gym and in 6 weeks, lost 10 pounds.

” I realized how much my body had changed when I tried to go back to my old drinking and eating habits. I felt awful and I never want to feel that way again. Making healthy choices that I enjoy is much more satisfying to me than anything else I could have eaten.

I have always been overweight. I have always been "the fat one." I never thought that I deserved to be happy or proud. I felt ashamed of being me and self-conscious of my body. My parents put me on diets, including Weight Watchers and the "Cabbage Soup Diet," when I was eight years old. I remember my siblings and classmates teasing me. I remember my parents telling me I couldn't eat certain things and that I didn't need a cookie as they handed me a piece of fruit.

I was always told that I was too skinny, and that I needed to eat more. So, I would stuff myself with food even when I wasn’t hungry, just so people would stop telling me to eat more. I thought that if I could just be a little bigger, people would finally start to see me as beautiful.” I never learned to love or be proud of myself as a child. This lack of self-love turned into an addiction to food. Most of the time, when I would try to have seconds, my parents would stop me, leaving me feeling embarrassed and ashamed. I was always told that I was too skinny and that I needed to eat more. So, I would stuff myself with food even when I wasn’t hungry, just so people would stop telling me to eat more. I thought that if I could just be a little bigger, people would finally start to see me as beautiful.

I had low self-esteem in my early 20s and tried to find satisfaction in alcohol and random men. I drank a lot every weekend and several days during the week. I often ended up being used by men when I was drunk. Sometimes I did things I didn't want to do because I thought that if I gave them what they wanted, someone would finally love me in return. I spent years trying to please others instead of myself.

At around age 25, I got into a relationship that wasn't good for either of us. We were both struggling with how to love ourselves, let alone each other. I was emotionally, financially, and mentally abused in this relationship for seven years. Instead of helping me fight my inner demons, my partner encouraged them. It was during this time I grew to be the heaviest I've ever been. I started smoking drugs every day to escape reality and have an excuse to stay at home and hide from the world. I'd call into work "sick" all the time and lie to my family and friends about my life. I was in denial about how bad it was and how bad I felt. My outside appearance reflected how I felt on the inside. I fell into a deeper and deeper depression. Now at over 400 pounds and not even 30 years old, I was the poster child for the destructive effects of emotional eating. I couldn't climb three stairs before it felt like my knees were going to give out. I felt like my life was over.

I first began working out at Fit Body Boot Camp sporadically, and my commitment level was next to nothing. I was in the depths of my rock bottom and ashamed of myself. I loved the idea of being a part of the gym, but I was trying to stay alive the only way I knew how back then. I continued to pay for and renew my membership even if I didn’t go for months at a time because deep down, I believed that this was the only way to accomplish my goals. I wasn’t even sure what my goals were at that point, but I always knew deep down that I had to make a change. As long as I was part of FBBC, there was hope.

I joined FBBC four years ago with the goal of getting healthy and in shape. I was ready to put in the work and trusted the coaches to help me reach my goals. Looking back, I realize that without their support and belief in me, I might not be alive today. They were my lifeline, always there for me and helping me to trust the process. My coach believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself and they never gave up on me, even when things were tough.

” My FBBC coach taught me that I would have to fight for my own life and take small steps with one goal at a time, otherwise I would become overwhelmed. They put a goal card on the bulletin board and every time I came for a workout, we would put a tick on it. Once there were 30 ticks, my goal was to increase my water intake. When I had 30 ticks on my goal card, we worked on me coming to the workouts three times a week for five weeks in a row. They provided me constant support, mentally and physically, checking in with me daily or weekly if they didn’t see me for a few days. Thanks to the coaching I received at FBBC, I also began therapy. With the support of my coach, my family, and other people in my life, I got the courage to get out of that toxic relationship and save my own life.

After I started developing some good habits at FBBC, I began to see results. I lost 30 pounds and 5.6% body fat in six weeks, which felt amazing. Once I saw that I could establish healthy habits and get results, I started believing in myself more. I ended my toxic relationship and started taking control of my choices, which allowed me to see all the possibilities my life could take. The voice telling me I was meant to do great things got louder and for the first time in my life, I started to love myself.

The first year I joined FBBC, I was really focused and I lost 100 pounds. The next year, I kept going and lost another 50 pounds. In total, I lost 150 pounds in 2 years and I felt great! I was finally proud of myself, which was something I had never felt before. My coach was there for me every step of the way and my whole FBBC family was there to support me too. As my story was shared on social media, I got messages from people I didn't even know who were cheering me on. It made me feel loved.

After that summer ended, I started working full-time night shifts. I gained back the weight I had lost and then some, reaching 70 pounds within six months. I was depressed from working the night shifts and gaining the weight. I was miserable and angry that I let myself get to that point – again. I spent so long focusing on losing weight that I forgot how to create a balanced life. The voice in my head that told me I could do great things became quiet again. I began to wonder if I had blown my chance.

” I was in bad shape both physically and mentally. I was gaining weight and my spirits were low. I'd had surgery on my ACL which limited my ability to do physical exercise, and I wasn't dealing with it well. I was discouraged and depressed. At twenty-five, I was considered overweight and unsuccessful because of my insecurities.

” I was unhappy with how my life had turned out and terrified of where it was headed. I needed a chance to turn things around. When I found out about Fit Body Boot Camp, I knew it was my chance. It's helped me improve my physical health, overcome mental obstacles, and given me a chance to create the life I want.

” I didn't have surgery right away after tearing my ACL because I was afraid of enduring physical pain for a short period of time. I stalled for more than two years. In the end, I didn't receive a positive result. I numbed myself from feeling knee pain by overeating. I started to gain weight and developed long-term bad habits. I didn't discipline myself on how many hours I slept or how many calories I consumed. I didn't manage my time well and relied on fast-food and dining restaurants 90% of the time. When I made food at home, it wasn't even healthy. I had late night snacks almost every day. As time went by, I was not able to maintain a consistent and normal weight.

” I had surgery because I was fed up with how I was taking care of myself and hoped that this could be the end of my physical misery. Unfortunately, it was too late. I gave up too easily when I felt physical pain and suffering. Even though I was able to do more with my knee, the weight of my fat added aches and signaled me to stop, which I did. I knew that if I worked out, the feeling of pain or suffering would recur; therefore, there was no point of me in trying. Again, I didn’t get a positive result.

” I got myself into that situation by not taking consistent actions to improve myself. Since joining FBBC, I finally stopped hurting myself. I developed life-changing and healthier habits. I never thought I could wake up at 5:30 am, but that is what I did five times a week, and I was willing to stay every Saturday for 1 hour. My body recognized my positive progress and persistence, and it is now natural for me to wake up in the morning without an alarm clock as long as I sleep 7-8 hours a day. I was learning to commit, be consistent, and force myself to become better, and my body followed my directions and helped me get there; we were working together.

I have gotten better at managing my time well, to the point where I am able to meal prep and hardly go to any restaurants. 95% of the time, I prepare my own food. I learned that my body prefers me cooking, as the food I make is healthier.

” As I started to lose weight, the pain in my surgically repaired knee decreased dramatically. My body's response made me want to work out even more, which is now an essential part of my daily life along with being aware of what I eat.

I was able to take control of my actions and develop a routine that includes working out consistently, going to work, eating healthier, having time with family and friends, and focusing on my ambitions. I no longer have time to find excuses. I have lost 28.7 pounds, which effectively reduced the load on my knee joint by 114.8 pounds and lost 15.5% body fat.

” I was in a lot of pain, both physically and mentally, before I joined FBBC. I was constantly worried that I would fail and my negative perspective had led to a lack of self-confidence. I decided to make a change and joined FBBC.

” I joined FBBC with the goal of breaking some of my bad habits. On the first day of class, we were given an optional task to break one of our bad habits. I chose to work on waking up early, as this had been a long-standing struggle for me. The weekly morning routine was unrealistic for me at first, but I was determined to make a change. I started to see results after consistently following the routine and began to feel more energized. I looked forward to improving myself and breaking more of my bad habits.

” I developed the discipline, self-confidence, and high self-esteem that I longed for by making changes to my eating habits. I had developed really bad eating habits over many years and had no limitations on my calorie intake. Food was the comfort that temporarily suppressed my negative thoughts and feelings. With every little change I made to my eating habits, I started to become more positive. I became less stressed, happier, and motivated. Positive emotions were blossoming inside of me that I didn’t know I could develop. I finally felt proud of myself and acquired a new habit by encouraging myself to make more positive changes. I started to create my own tasks.

” I committed to sleeping 7-8 hours a day so that I would have clarity every morning. This led me to learn how to plan out my day and take control of my life. I was even enthusiastic about how to improve my time management. I prepared the night before, which made me feel excited to start my day. I started to run my life with logic and efficiency. I developed good habits and will continue to do better. My mind and I were starting to work together and trust each other, resulting in a positive mentality and emotions. I felt like I could do anything.

My life was dull, predictable, and cautious before I started my journey with Fit Body Boot Camp. It has been a wide awakening, an opportunity that I wouldn’t find anywhere else. My body, mind, and I are working together to become a stronger me. I finally accepted that I must endure suffering to get rewarding results, physically and mentally. I learn to love and encourage myself. I have a highly positive perspective and have been able to overcome doubt. Most importantly, I saved myself. I have never thought I would be considered athletic at 119 pounds and 19% body fat compared to my previous self. As I am rebuilding myself, I feel ready to restart planning on my entrepreneurship journey. I plan on pursuing this next adventure and use what I have learned from FBBC. I can proudly say that with Fit Body Boot Camp, I finally made the jump, and I found myself flying. However, my journey is far from over, and my next mountain awaits.

” I was surprised to find out that there were more guys at boot camp than I had expected. Everyone was very encouraging, and I had no idea that I would be as successful as I was in following the Fit Body Boot Camp guidelines. I ended up losing 45.1 pounds and 37 inches total. I think I am a great example of what this type of program can do for someone.

” I attended one class per day and followed the meal plan for the first six weeks. For the last two weeks, I did some doubles to try and meet my final goal of losing 40 pounds, and I succeeded! I only spent 30 minutes per day on this, and I achieved great results.

I'm excited to spend the summer with my family and show them how much better I feel now that I've made healthier choices. I'm especially looking forward to water skiing, something I haven't been able to do in years! I used to be so unhealthy, but I'm glad I've made the changes that will let me live a longer, healthier life. This is my new beginning.

” I avoided knowing my weight for over four years because I didn't want it to have power over me. I enjoyed the freedom of not worrying about my weight, but I was also lying to myself. I hid behind the belief that we are more than just a number or our looks. I used excuses like being injured, working too much, or being tired, even though they were all true.

” There are so many things that make it hard to lead a healthy lifestyle. I could have overcome all of them, but I just didn't bother trying. Every month that I ignored my weight, ignored being active, and ate whatever I wanted, I got a little heavier, my confidence decreased, I smiled less, and I became less mobile. I was happy to be free from worrying about my weight and all the negative associations that come with it. I said no more. I mean, what does the number on the scale even mean? Isn't it just a measure of how much gravity is pulling on me?

” I was carving out my new path, even when I could feel the judgment. At a holiday dinner, everyone at the table was asked if they want seconds for dinner, except me. I know how it feels when the compliments of how nice one looks stop. No more did I hear compliments on my clothes, smile, or accessories. I know how it feels to tell or hear others share kind words and admiration on how someone looks but yet not be the one ever receiving the compliment. These were all affirmations that fat shaming and discrimination are rampant in our culture. I was tired of this. I was committed to being fat and happy. To settle in for my new life of being free from the scale.

I wasn’t being authentic to myself.” I started following women like Lindy West and Tess Holliday who are unapologetically fat in a culture that shames fatness. I was inspired by their authenticity and courage, and allowed myself to get fat and love myself. And I did. I really loved myself, even at my heaviest weight ever. But then I got lost on my quest to shake off society's expectations. I was in denial and lying to myself, which I didn't realize until I decided to join Fit Body and clean up my diet. Not being active or eating clean isn't a representation of me living authentically. For years I have not been the best version of myself. I felt slow, and I was finding it hard to tie my shoes or bend over. I wasn't participating in my life in the ways that make me happy, feel good, help me manage anxiety and depression. In fact, my lack of activity and poor eating were feeding some of my biggest demons. I loved myself, I'll even go as far as to say I like aspects of being overweight, but I didn't feel good. I wasn't being authentic to myself.

” I became too focused on just accepting my fatness, and I stopped doing things that were important to me. I stopped pushing myself to be the best I could be, and I stopped caring about being healthy. It's not just about being thin or having a certain pant size; it's about doing things that make me feel good and living my life to the fullest. I realized that I'd lost sight of that.

” I realized that I needed to do something about my inactive lifestyle last year. I started early in 2018 by focusing on recovering from the injury that caused me to become inactive in the first place. I knew that I wouldn't be able to be active again until I healed. By the fall of 2018, I was ready to start working out again. That's when I found the newly opened FBBC. I found something there that I had never found in a gym before: people that I connected with, who really know me and care about me. FBBC is full of people who cheer me on, push me, and celebrate my successes. They also help me when I'm struggling. These people engage with me outside of the gym with activities like hiking, yoga, or just checking in. At FBBC, I am known, I am seen, and I am good enough.

My coach told me that I was doing great and to keep it up.” The first time I walked into the gym, I felt like I belonged there. Everyone was so encouraging and positive. If I miss a workout, my coach and other members check in on me to make sure I'm okay. I know this from first-hand experience! During my first few weeks, I worked out 2 to 3 times a week, and I was sore but loved how I felt at the end of a workout. I was sweaty and exhausted yet feeling strong and with a big smile on my face ready to conquer the day. My coach told me that I was doing great and to keep it up.

” I have gained more than I have lost by reconnecting with old friends and working out with them. One of my friends has even joined FBBC, and several others are interested.

I've lost almost 15% of my body weight, and I remember how lost and defeated I felt at the beginning. It was so hard, but each success motivated me to keep going. I felt like a warrior, capable of anything. It's not about what I've lost; it's about what I've gained. I'm not where I want to be yet, but that's okay because there's always room for improvement. Fit Body understands that and helps me feel good about myself. They tell me I'm enough right where I am, and I am free.

” I was determined to make a change when I started Fit Body Boot Camp. I had always been active and tried to stay in shape, but weight gain had slowly snuck up on me.

” I didn't gain all this weight overnight. It was a few pounds here and there over the course of a few years. And before I knew it, I was thirty pounds overweight. Every time I gained a few pounds, I told myself I'd lose it again. But it never happened. And when it didn't happen, I got frustrated. And when I got frustrated, I'd eat. Which just made me gain more weight. It was a terrible, self-destructive cycle I'd gotten myself into. And I knew I had to do something about it.

” I made a New Year's resolution about a year ago to find a better gym. I had belonged to the local YMCA, but I wasn't getting the results I wanted. They had some nice group classes, but they weren't convenient for my work schedule, so I couldn't go regularly. I needed to find a gym that not only had a schedule that worked for me, but also provided the group workout experience that I found to be enjoyable.

I did a quick Google search of the area and found a promotion from a nearby gym that was giving away three free workouts. I decided to try it out because I'm always happy to find a sale. I didn't have anything to lose besides my time. That's how I started my journey at Fit Body Boot Camp.

” When I walked into Fit Body Boot Camp, the owner greeted me immediately and made me feel comfortable. He introduced me to other boot campers, who were all friendly. The coaches were amazing and supportive, and they offered classes throughout the day. I felt like I had found a gym that met my scheduling needs and would help me reach my goals.

” I was doing great and making progress, but then I had to have surgery for carpal tunnel and couldn't go to the gym. I also started eating sugar again.

” The holidays are always tough because there's so much delicious food around. It starts with Halloween candy, then Thanksgiving pie, and then Christmas cookies. I can't say no to any of it, especially since it would be rude to Tina if I didn't at least try her ginger snaps. Before I know it, the weight has come back.

” I was really upset because not only had I gained back all the weight I had previously lost, but I was now the heaviest I had ever been. I decided it was time to make a change.

” I have always been very competitive, so when I saw the latest ad for Fit Body Boot Camp, I decided to give it everything I had. I weighed in at the beginning of the competition at 172 pounds and 28.9% body fat, which was the heaviest I have ever been. The staff at Fit Body helped me to set attainable weekly goals. I also found the healthy meal recipes easy to follow and they tasted good, which was a big help as I am not very creative in the kitchen.

” I attended Fit Body Boot Camp every day, and sometimes even went twice a day. I also started doing additional cardio exercises. The fat started disappearing quickly. I met the goals that the Fit Body team had set for me each week, and my confidence increased. The Facebook community was very helpful in keeping me motivated and focused on my goals. Every week that passed, I liked the person I saw in the mirror more and more.

” I lost more weight than I had hoped to with the help of Fit Body Boot Camp - 37.5 pounds instead of the 30 I had aimed for. My body fat percentage dropped 10.7% and I lost a total of 35.55 inches all over. I feel much more confident now and better about myself than ever before.

The old me would have given up and gone back to my old unhealthy habits, but the new me is excited to continue down this road to a healthier lifestyle, which was paved by Fit Body. Fit Body has changed my thinking about exercise, and I no longer use it as a tool to counter my caloric intake. It has made me realize that this is a way of life and not just the peak of another roller coaster diet. My journey towards sustained healthy living has just begun with the help of Fit Body Boot Camp.

” I started my journey in October 2013, a year after having my third baby. I was determined to not take years to get back to my pre-baby weight like I did after my second baby. I was trying to run, ride my bike regularly, and participate in a triathlon, something I had done once a year since 2011. I even did one at six months pregnant with my youngest!

” I was skeptical at first when a friend shared a 2-week breast cancer awareness trial on Facebook through FBBC. But I figured, if anything, at least my money would be going to a good cause. I remember walking in the doors for my first session thinking, ‘I’ve got this.’”

” I knew that I would stick with this fitness experience for longer than other experiences because it was not at home. I did not have kids or housework to distract me while working out. I needed a place outside of the home where I could have time to myself. The coaches and other boot campers were encouraging and helped me to not give up.

” I joined my first challenge in January 2014. I was really nervous about the nutrition part, but I never give up on a challenge, and I needed something to keep me focused. There were times when I thought about quitting, but then I told myself that I deserved to have something just for myself.

” Since I started doing boot camp challenges, I've seen amazing results. I've learned how to make the eating portion of the challenge work for my family. It's been great to be able to cook for the whole family.

” I joined this organization a little over three years ago with the goal of losing weight and returning to my high school weight of 160 pounds. I nearly achieved that goal last year, but I have since realized that my biggest goal should be to be happy with who I am in the moment. I want to accept myself for who I am and be confident in that so that I can be a role model for my three daughters. Who said that size or a number on the scale has to be what defines you?

” I enjoy pushing myself to lift heavier weights and seeing what I am capable of. If someone had asked me three years ago if I would be able to deadlift 150lbs, I probably would have laughed in their face.

” I'm not good at training for things like long-distance runs and triathlons. I do most of my training now at boot camp, and that has helped me come in second place in my age group in two triathlons, finish a 100-mile bike ride, and run two 25K races. It wasn't easy, but I did it.

” I become stronger in both body and mind every time I work out. I am prepared to face trials and challenges, and I will do my best to overcome them. I have learned that the destination is often different from the one we imagined at the start of the journey. Instead of being afraid of what may happen, I have faith that everything will work out in the end.

I am so grateful to the staff and my fellow boot campers for their support and encouragement. Because of all of you, I am leaving as a better person than when I arrived.

Fantastic experience: I joined FBBC a few months ago and I can officially say that I am addicted!! I am greeted by name every morning, the workouts are FUN & effective. The coaches motivate & push you to do your best. The other members are welcoming and so friendly. The music is high-energy. The nutrition coaching is customized to you and your goals. Fantastic experience: I love coming here! My boyfriend and I have been coming here about 2 yrs now and we love it! It's such an intense workout (if you want it to be). All the coachs are MORE THAN AMAZING! They modify all your workout moves if something hurts or if you haven't built the muscles you needed for certain workout, they have modified moves to help you get there. It's only 30 mins! Best 30 mins of your day!!!

Fantastic experience: This place is the best! I love this gym/fitness studio. I was originally intimidated by a group fitness atmosphere before coming here but the coaches, owners, and fellow members are incredibly friendly. I look forward to coming here everyday and it’s truly the highlight of my day. On day 1 I couldn’t get through the first workout and Coach Regan encouraged me to not be discouraged and I wasn’t. I came back the very next day knowing this was the place for me. In less than a year I’ve now completed nearly 200 workouts and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for years. You won’t regret trying FBBC. Come in for their free workout and you’ll be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: When I first walked through the doors of Coastal Fit Body Boot camp, I was looking for that "quick fix". I hadn't worked out in several years, and wasn't even sure I could handle what I had thought "boot camp" was. What I found was more than I could have ever hoped for. This team has dedicated themselves to the success of their members. I (re)learned how to eat properly, and how to maintain fitness as a lifestyle. I feel better, sleep better and have more energy. It's such a gift to have coaches and guides every step along the way. As for the coaches, they're amazing! Coach Ron and Coach Barb know your abilities and limits, and motivate and encourage everyone based on their needs. Neil and Jenn have truly created a family environment. I have watched this group celebrate triumph and come together in tragedy, share laughter and tears, and connect in a way I've never experienced. Oh, and ... if you try their free workout - and they say "no strings attached" - yes, they mean it. Yes, it's real, Zero pressure. I promise. If you've read this far, you're likely considering giving them a try. Take the first step, get in touch with them and take the first walk through those doors. You owe it to yourself. Fantastic experience: The coaches, the people, the owners - I can't say enough good things about the amazing people and environment that has been created here. It is truly judgement free and feels like family. Being a mom and working full time is hard to find the balance for self care. The work out times AND 30 minutes are easy to fit in without feeling the mom guilt. Take the first step, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: You guys, you have to try this place!! The energy is amazing, the workouts are organized and strategically designed to challenge you. Neil is great! Fantastic experience: Easily the best 30 minutes of every single day from Ron to Reagan every trainer is amazing the best owners the most fun 30 minutes of pain/fun you can absolutely HAVE PEROID. Fantastic experience: Prior to coming FBBC I joined another gym. It was very impersonal and I didn’t enjoy my experience but I went. I then found Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp. The trainers are FANTASTIC!! You truly feel you part of the experience. They take interest in you well being and how you are progressing. The owners Neil and Jennifer are so involved. I love going everyday and feel lucky to have found such a wonderfully supportive group!!!! Rating: A++++++

Fantastic experience: I joined Coastal Fit Body in June so that I could get healthy, lose weight and become more active. I never exercised before and now I am addicted! I am very pleased with my entire experience at Coastal. The owners Neil and Jen go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They treat you like family! They work closely with you as well as all of the coaches too. They make sure you are exercising safely and correctly so that you see progress. They meet with you initially and come up with an exercise plan that is suitable for you. They review the plan with you weekly. They help you to monitor your diet, weight, muscle mass and they even check your measurements. They also take photos to show your progress. The 1:1 coaching sessions are great as they help to hold you accountable and provide the support and direction you need. I have never been happier and I am proud to be part of the “Fit Fam”! I highly recommend you check it out!

Fantastic experience: End of last year I was looking to get back into to exercising. My son and daughter in law signed me up for the New Year New You challenge. I was very scared to do a boot camp but BEST THING EVER!! The coaches are awesome. They help everyone workout at their own level while encourage to push us to what we can do to reach the next level. They are always showing modifications if unable to do the full exercise. They also help with nutrition which help me greatly. I have never eaten so much. I had been under eating for years and was finally able to lose the weight I wanted. I will be going to Coastal Fit Body for life

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp in Gateway. As always when joining a new gym I was so nervous at first... the owners and coaches changed that immediately. They made me feel welcomed and as if I’d been going there for years. I’m really benefitting from the nutrition advice from Coach Neil - it has made a huge difference in my results. The classes are challenging but fun and the time flies by. All of the coaches are encouraging and supportive!!

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased to say I am very happy going to this Bootcamp. Very friendly and family oriented. The coaches are all great, but I must give a huge shout out to coach Ron. He sets the tone for our day, great motivation. Coach Ron makes my 5:30am workout a blast, he makes sure you are doing the workouts correct and even modifies anything that you may have difficulty doing. The other clients are also very nice & look out for each other, especially when we miss a workout. FIT FAM, that is who we are.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym! It’s very clean, well kept, and high quality in equipment. The coaches are energetic, experienced and engaging. It’s a very friendly atmosphere, you are greeted by name at the door and positive feedback is given when you leave. This is not only a gym, it’s a strong fit family!!! Fantastic experience: Love this place.! The coaches are great. In the 30 minute workout I can feel my muscles that haven't used in a long time. The coaches motive you and if you can't do the exercise they modify it for you. They treat you like famy. I am really happy I joined.

Fantastic experience: This is a phenemonal group of coaches , I joined 6 weeks ago and have loved my experience so far . Everyone is welcoming , friendly & encouraging . I have really enjoyed the upbeat workouts with upbeat tunes played during the workouts . Feeling inspired with positivity and energy by the coaches daily combined getting nutrition advice each week has been helpful .. the workouts are varied daily , working on different areas of the body ,the duration of the workout means it is intensive but doable . The workout times are also very suitable . I am really enjoying getting fit again with coastal fit body bootcamp and would recommend them highly .

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym! I have been a member since they opened and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every second of it. Well, not really every second because the workouts kick my butt, however the butt kicking is so worth it! The trainers motivate and inspire you to work hard and push yourself in each class. The owners, Neil and Jennifer, are such wonderful people. They truly care about each individual that walks through their door, no matter their size or athletic ability.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend FitBody Boot Camp to everyone! Regardless of your reason for wanting to workout (strength, weight loss, health, etc.) I personally joined a year ago for weight loss after a foot injury. I was always intimidated to join a program like this because I thought it was only for really thin and experienced people. What I love about FitBody is it truly is for everyone: all ages, sizes & experience levels. There is no judgement in the classes, everyone is friendly and encouraging. We are all there to achieve our own goals. The Coastal FitBody branch is family run. It has a really quaint mom&pop feel unlike a lot of the more impersonal places. Everyone knows your name and is friendly and always happy to see you and greet you with a smile. All of the coaches are amazing!! They make you very comfortable by explaining all the moves before you begin and circulate the room throughout the entire session. They help guide you through the moves, remind you breathe, encourage you to keep going, and even offer modifications for more advanced moves when needed or to adapt your specific body injury. The sessions are always different which keeps it exciting, really up beat with loud music, and go by so fast (only 30 min of your day) but they keep you moving the entire time so you feel really good and accomplished when it’s over. The building is kept really clean and safe. The Coaches have taken extra precautions since Covid to keep members separated throughout the sessions and we no longer share equipment, keeping everyone healthy and safe without sacrificing our workout. As a bonus, you get to meet with a Nutrition coach too! (I didn’t even realize this when I signed up) You are able to have regular weigh ins and they help with eating plans designed specially for you. We all know eating is more than half the battle when it comes to weight loss so why do all this bootcamp work if you’re not going to make changes in your eating as well. They even sent newsletters, at home workouts and share recipes online. As I stated above, I joined about a year ago and I’ve lost more than 30lbs, Lowered my body fat, increased my muscles/strength, Increased my energy level & feel better than ever. If I can do it anyone can..... and should!!!!

I’ve been to many and I mean many gyms over the years. I will say this is my FAVORITE. It’s an awesome, friendly, and clean environment. The workouts are 30 mins which is my favorite part. Fantastic experience: You know who you work for matters, it can determine your level of satisfaction with a job, your happiness and your ultimate success. Same is true for who you work out for and with. I’ve tried lots of different gyms, at home programs, apps, but this place is the best! Fantastic experience: If your looking for a place with expertise in exercise, nutrition and provides a fun, family like environment then look no further .. FITBODY is the place for you. The workouts are short but effective and the facility is clean and uses all the necessary health precautions. There is a wide variety of movements that fits any goal either your trying to build muscle/tone, improve cardio or lose weight. Fantastic experience: I definitely enjoy coming here! I’ve been going to the gym for years and haven’t seen the results like I have here. They help you build yourself with a proper diet and workouts to help you towards your goal! You can and will see result from this, trust me, I’ve tried everything lol The atmosphere here is welcoming. Everyone is nice and you don’t feel uncomfortable working out. The coaches are extremely motivational and push you to do more and not get comfortable with the same thing. I absolutely love that. Fantastic experience: Changing a lifestyle is a big decision. Luckily for me I joined Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp, a dedicated group of people who tirelessly guide and offer encouragement along the way in assisting you to succeed in your diet and fitness journey. Every one there is friendly And upbeat. The instructors Are fit, knowledgeable and if you have difficulty are right there next to you until you get it. One last comment. They are doing an excellent job keeping everyone safe during this “pandemic”.

Fantastic experience: I have been in a lot of gyms and classes etc. I am A 64 year old active female . Who would think going to boot camp would help with my hip flexor pain. That’s what got me there and that’s what keeps me there. I feel stronger than ever I have been going for almost 9 months. I find A gym where you have do a lot of self motivating ,Boring as hell. This is the complete opposite There is every kind shape size or age at this boot camp your working so hard you don’t have time to watch and compare to anyone else . Lots of class times to pick from which means you have flexibility . The coaches And owners are awesome and know when to push you and how Hard to push you. I love the program of working out every day on a different muscle group or cardio . They are there to answer any question or to help you with physical problems Everyone continue to take the COVID precautions seriously . So I feel safe as well

Fantastic experience: I have been to several gyms and many boot camps in this area and Coastal Fit Body Boot camp is the place to be. The owners are always friendly and welcoming, the trainers are motivating and push you to do your best, the workouts are always different which keeps it exciting and challenging! Whatever your personal goal is, they are there to lead you. If you have a physical limitation they will find a way to work around it so you don’t hurt yourself yet still get the workout you desire. You are surrounded by members who want to be there, who encourage one another with no judgment no matter what your size no matter your ability no matter your goal. Many places offer a lot but there’s always something missing. Coastal FBBC checks all the boxes!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for nearly a year it’s was my first experience of this kind of workout, short, sharp and nonstop. The Coaches are very friendly and give excellent instruction about the class and cool down afterwards. Covid was a nuisance for 8 weeks but when we returned there was very clear communication about what classes would look like going forward and the hygiene and preventative steps have been consistent and social distancing not a problem. Overall it’s a High Energy 30 mins out of your busy schedule but worth it !!

Fantastic experience: I went into this program not sure if I would find the time to attend the classes. Life sometimes gets in the way and that's no excuse for being healthy. I'm making the time and learning may new techniques to keeping healthy. The Coaches at Gateway's Fit Body Boot Camp are amazing and provide positive encouragement during every session. It's always mixed up and NEVER boring! They get everyone pumped up and confident to keep going. Terrific addition to the Gateway community!!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym! The coaches are always willing to help with any questions you have and before or after class. I love that the coaches do the workouts with you, as it really helps me to stay motivated and keep going. Also love the fact that the owners are there every single day and coach classes! So happy I joined this gym, as it gives me something to look forward to everyday! So if you struggle with being motivated and getting to a gym, I would recommend trying them out because all you need to do is show up to class and be ready to work for only 30 minutes!

Fantastic experience: A year ago, I walked into Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp for the 30 day challenge. I was overweight and out of shape. Every part of my body hurt all the time and I was tired of it. At 48 years old, I shouldn’t feel this bad. Little did I know that the 30 day challenge would end up changing my life. The coaches at Coastal have given me so much support and kindness from day 1. They helped me modify any exercise that I needed. Even after a year, I still have to modify some of the exercises and I’m ok with that. There will come a day when modifications are no longer needed. They continue to push me out of my comfort zone and they also know when I need to just stay in my comfort zone. Then there are the other members of the classes. When you are happy to see them and they are happy to see you, that makes it even more enjoyable. During quarantine of Covid and the gym was closed, they made videos so we could still workout at home! And, they still have videos every day so you can still workout at home. All the coaches were available to us at all times. We could call, text, message, Facebook any of our coaches at any time if needed. And they continue to be available whenever we need them. Even on a personal level, not just fitness, they are there with an open ear. They care about you as a total person. Thank you Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp.

Fantastic experience: This gym is a pleasure to be a member of. It is user friendly when I say this it is easy to sign up and cancel a class using the handy free app. You can also add your class to your phone calendar reminder. The owners make a point to know you and your goals and they care about you and your goals and what is working and what isn’t working and how things can work to get you motivated. That’s why we truly are a Fit Family whatever our age, size, weight, etc. The classes are fun. The one on one advice you get is also wonderful. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I Joined Fit Body when they first opened and the minute I walked in the door I felt welcomed, comfortable and encouraged. This place pushes you to set your own goals and gives you all the tools to reach them. Fantastic experience: Coaches Regan, Jenn & Neil truly make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. They get to know you, really care about you, and their HIIT workouts will challenge you and leave you feeling better and stronger. The encouragement and support from both the coaches and your workout friends will keep you coming back. I have really enjoyed joining this family. Fantastic experience: I’ve always been afraid to join a gym because I thought I would be judged for not being in good enough shape to go to a gym but Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp has become my happy place. The owners and head trainer could not be nicer and eager to help me on my fitness journey. The workouts are designed to be as intense as you are able to handle. All movements can be modified to your own fitness level but honestly most workouts are just right. Every day is different, so it never gets repetitive and you work different muscles. Best part is it’s only 30 minutes and if you finish and want more, the next class is usually 15 minutes later so you can do two sessions. They offer nutrition support and are available anytime to help and answer questions. They also help throughout workouts to help on form or just give you encouragement to push through the workout. If you have been thinking about joining or need a new fitness family, stop thinking & come try it out. I joined thinking I’d go a few times a week (maybe) but I can’t imagine not starting my day (at 5:30am) there every day!!

Fantastic experience: If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The owners are absolutely incredible and have a heart of gold. I felt so comfortable the minute I walked in. The classes are only 30 minutes long and kick your butt every time! I work out about 4 hours a week now and I am actually forming abs. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I feel great, look great, and know that with FIt Body Boot Camp by my side, I am on the right path and going to do great in everything outside of just my fitness goals. I couldn't recommend this place more! It's absolutely amazing and totally worth just checking out for the 3 free classes if you're even remotely interested!

Fantastic experience: Joining Coastal Fit Body Boot Camp has been an amazing experience. After 30 years of being inactive, I am easing into a new norm of daily exercise. For me this has been a very positive go at my own pace, guided exercise experience surrounded by a supportive team of trainers. Fantastic experience: I always said I would NEVER join a boot camp or other group workout class. But I really needed to get motivated after I ran a 10K race then stopped exercising for 3 months. My wife convinced me to come to a free class (which kicked my @$$), and I liked it enough to do the other two free classes. Then I signed up for the 3 week trial membership. Now, I LOVE this place, and I am going to sign up for the monthly membership. In the morning, it's wonderful to wake up and start my day in such a positive environment full of encouragement and community vibes! Other days I can't wait to work off some stress at an afternoon class. After a month, I have way more energy and my muscles are much stronger, especially the strong core I've always wanted but wasn't motivated to achieve on my own. And I'm finally taking my half marathon training seriously again! Finally, I can't neglect to talk about the team that runs this location. They are one of the nicest families I've ever met. Regan is an awesome high energy instructor with deep empathy and clear passions for teaching and fitness. Jenn is super sweet and always knows just the right encouraging thing to say when you need it most. Neil does an excellent job running the operations, providing nutrition coaching and helping me correct my form on all the new exercises I'm learning. If you live anywhere near this place, please give it a try! Right now they are donating 100% of the proceeds from the 3 week trial to the Animal Refuge Center. Plus, let's be honest that if you've read this far, you know you're ready to change your lifestyle. Just do it! I'll see you on the mat.

Fantastic experience: I have never loved going to the gym and was always intimidated by the bootcamp group classes but I really like coming here- the owners and coach are super nice and encouraging. The workouts change every day so it never gets boring and they show you how to modify the moves if you need a little extra help like i do - again, the owners and coach are so nice and you can tell they love what they do :)
