Anytime Fitness - Greer, SC

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure what gym the "one star" people are going to! I have been a member at Anytime Fitness in Greer, SC going on my 5th year. My wife also joined almost a year ago. I have taken great strides in my physical fitness and it's not just because of all the state of the art equipment at Anytime. It has a lot to do with the friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. The office staff have always been very friendly and helpful to me. They take the time to solve any issues that may arise or just to have a friendly chat. The trainers are top notch. They are always willing to answer any questions about equipment or exercise. They have helped me reach goals that seemed out of reach on my own. They take time to encourage me even when I'm not training with them. I have gotten to know each one of the staff members and they are like family to me. I can't imagine working out anywhere else. LOVE YOU GUYS! AND...I'm very excited about the expansion. Woo! Woo!

Fantastic experience: I have never been a fan of gyms until I started working out at this Anytime. The management and staff do a great job of keeping the gym clean and stay involved with their members. I started personal training with Kayla and my experience has been outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Some of the equipment is a bit older, but they do have 2 squat racks with a couple of specialty bars and a deadlift platform. That also have a competition bench press. The management is also great; extremely fair and flexible. Definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are very clean. The janitor is very diligent and keeps the place very clean. There are individual showers. The equipment is well maintained. The trainers are very involved. I use Natalie and sometimes get advice from Austin. They are both great. Natalie plans my workout around my goals and takes great care in making sure that I understand what I need to reach my goals. All the staff is very friendly and the owner is great! People at all levels frequent this facility. Nobody is judgmental and most people are focused on their own workout. There are classes that are more social otherwise people do focus on their workout. However, people are very friendly and the staff are always available for advice. This is a gym, everyone is welcome, let me know if you come. I will say hello

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at this Anytime Fitness since 2009. The gym has changed ownership multiple times over the last 12 years. The current owner, David, and his team have done an incredible job since taking over in 2020. Not only have they kept the gym clean and healthy, David has also invested in multiple upgrades/new pieces of equipment. He and his team always strive to create a great experience for their members. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Love this location. It’s quite a ways out of the way for me and there’s definitely closer to my house but I like this one. The layout is very comfortable rather than everything in one room. The classes have tented windows and shades to feel less self conscious and more private. I’ve tried quite a few different classes including Pound and Zumba with Jen. They were great! And she made them so much fun! The standup tanning could use cleaned more often. It’s usually dirty when I go in. But aside from that, I recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I love that i can come here at any time. I got to multiple gyms but this gym i have no worries about being closed or closed early even now during the covid 19 issue. Its really clean. Theres someone here to clean during the day. They have sanitation for you to clean after yourself even with the daily cleaner here and they have signs everywhere reminding people of social distancing even in the machines you are on. I love this gym.

Fantastic experience: Incredible Anytime Fitness. I have trained at a few and this one has everything you need. Only down side is the absence of towels for both showering and working out which I have seen at other locations. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and seem to be very focused on building good relationships with their clients! Overall, this place rocks!

Fantastic experience: Always super clean!! Friendly staff! Always willing to answer any questions. I usually go at night but I have called during the day with questions. They have plenty of the antibacterial cleaning wipes everywhere, which most gyms usually don't have enough. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness of Greer no matter what level of fitness you are. Being a full time working mom of three, then gymnastics, therapy, church, etc etc... Anytime Fitness of Greer has made it super easy for me to put the kiddos to bed ehwh Dad gets home, and I can go to the gym. Everything is always clean so I don't have to waste time cleaning up someone else's butt sweat before I use a machine. So far everyone there the time I go is friendly, and pretty much does their own thing. I LOVE this gym.

Fantastic experience: Plenty of equipment, nice and clean, many lockers/bathrooms. Staff seems friendly and new ownership seems committed to making positive changes.

Fantastic experience: Three squat racks plus a bench=very rare you have to wait for weight. Someone named Sonya complained about dim lights, but that's a farce. They've been making it brighter, but it is at least still not offensively so. There is a separate area for heavy dropping if you're in the mood. Not sure what their problem was. Me and my friends love this place for lifting (and cardio on off days). I wish the music was louder, at least on off times. But after about two months I couldn't be happier for an everyday gym.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member at Anytime for almost 6 months now. I have had an overwhelming positive experience so far. When I signed up, the staff were incredibly helpful. Took the time to let me tour the gym, show me how different machines worked, and make sure it was a good fit for me. From there I've not had any problems with them over charging my account, or had any problems with them financially. The staff, for the most part, are incredibly friendly people, especially the lady who cleans in the morning. Such a sweet person, always extremely polite. The gym itself is pretty great. It has a solid number of machines, as well as two pretty decent free weight sections with a solid number of benches. The only thing that I would change, is making it a larger gym. Right now, everything is packed pretty tightly together and there is only one of each weight machine, with little variety. For example; You do seated leg curls or none at all. It would be nice to have a lying leg curl machine. Overall, just some variety of machines and more of them would be the only thing I would change. If you're into cardio, there are plenty of treadmills to choose from along with stationary bikes, ellipticals, and spin bikes. Overall, I really enjoy working out at Anytime Fitness in Greer. The staff are friendly, and it's certainly possible to get an excellent work out in. I would certainly recommend this gym to friends and will continue to do business with them indefinitely. Plus they are open 24/7, which works perfectly with my schedule.
