Fantastic experience: I joined this place for the swimming pool! Gorgeous Olympic sized pool. It's hard to find a pool this size at a reasonable price in the city and they offer a variety of great programs from old to young.

Fantastic experience: I’m a professional basketball player and was looking for a solid gym to get some work in while in NY. I found it. Incredible facility. Very nice basketball court (floors are clean), multiple full courts w/ pro 3-ball line. Indoor track and nice fitness center. More importantly, staff makes you feel at home. Really good people working here. I recommend any athlete or even someone who just needs a gym to get a membership here. Price cannot be beat.

Fantastic experience: Took to the indoor track for my NYC Marathon training run. 6.24 miles / 59:27 min / 9:32 pace Also a great place for cross training. To bad the showers are still not open.

Positive experience: Cheap for the quality of gym. It is not a 5 starts gym buy have the basics to do a good workout. Clean and organized,for the price is really a unique place

Fantastic experience: I love this place. It has everything you could need for a good, safe workout. They have excellent covid-19 protocol in place for entry to the facility and for social distancing using the machines. There are excellent programs for Seniors. It has an after-school program for kids whose parents are not home from work yet; it's right next to beautiful Flushing Meadow Park; and your membership entitles you to the giant pool next door; the strength training equipment is state of the art, and the staff is very helpful and respectful. You will not regret coming here.

Fantastic experience: This recreation center was not an easy place to find. I had to take walks from long distance away from the 7 train Willets Point Subway Station to go across the bridge side walk and away from the Citi Field Stadium.

Fantastic experience: I decided to become a member so that my son and I could go swimming across the street in the aquatics building and participate in Karate as well as other sports here while I train in the gym. Military and Veterans pay $25 for a 1 year membership. Kids membership are free when a parent has membership. The recreation is clean and they offer many different classes for both adults and kids. The schedules are updated monthly online through the NYC PARKS website.

Fantastic experience: I bring my son here for the children’s activities that are held here throughout the week. They always have a good variety of different sports and other activities available. His membership is free, which is great for us. The instructors are very good with children and knowledgeable of the sports they instruct. I feel good bringing him here because I know the instructors genuinely are interested in the children learning a new sport, and do their best to see that the are grasping the concepts. They have always been patient, friendly and helpful. Most importantly they are always interested in safety and take any precautions that are needed. The facility itself is clean, in good condition as well as the equipment that is used.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best parks department rec center in the city. The weight room isn't that good, but the rest of the facility is awesome.

Fantastic experience: You must have a membership to use this facility. It is very clean. Has an indoor track, basketball court that is also utilized for an array of hour long exercise classes. They have a weight room, room with treadmills and bikes, and another with machines to work your entire body. It is the best investment you can make towards your health. Keep in mind parking is scarce in front of the facility, you can find plenty of parking across the street.

Fantastic experience: It's always clean, even the bathroom. It has what I need for my workout. The front desk staff are always courteous. If they're on the phone and I need help they'll either acknowledge me and ask to wait or they'll put the caller on hold. I feel safe and comfortable there.

Only $100 per year for an adult ($50 for 6 months), and children are free. Check out their weekly schedule to know what to expect before you arrive! If you want to use a locker, be sure to bring your own lock.

Fantastic experience: A very nice rec center, always clean and has a regular cleaning schedule for the weight and cardio rooms. As a full time gym, I would say it's pretty small and can definitely be crowded at times. However, it's a good gym for the summer until school's back. Membership is also very cheap, and free for those under 18. I haven't had a single negative experience with the staff.

Fantastic experience: Located in busy Flushing, a very convenient place to exercise. The pool and ice rink are great as well as the huge park great for grilling and sports. Free Parking.

Fantastic experience: Best recreation center I have been to. There's plenty of space for fitness classes, cardio and weight training. The Zumba ShapeUp class has a great turnout Saturday mornings. Overall a very clean and welcoming environment.
