Club 14 Fitness

Fantastic experience: Being from Pennsylvania, we were looking for a gym to attend while in the area. Club 14 Fitness is like a "diamond in the rough". Great equipment, extremely clean. We thought our gym in PA was good, but Club 14 Fitness is a 10+. If you are in the area and searching for a quality gym, give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Currently residing in North Carolina, Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach is my home away from home. My parents grew up there many moons ago and it is a place I return to frequently. It was not until my last visit that I discovered Club 14 Fitness. While I have driven by the facility on 14th Street many times, I worked out at other gyms on my visits. This time, and from the moment I walked into Club 14,, I knew it was different. The staff was great. Morgan remembered my name each time I saw her. Rae, an owner, was friendly and interested to answer the many questions I had regarding the gym and what it is like to live on the island. I spoke with Amanda several times about healthy places to eat. I am trying to relocate to the island and have definitely found a home gym at Club 14. I went to Club 14 many times in my two week stay on Amelia. So I feel that I had a good look at what it would be like to be a member there all the time. The staff is genuine and helpful. The facility is very clean. It feels like a family there. It is very welcoming. Having traveled frequently and to many gyms in other cities, I can easily say that Club 14 is everything a person could want in a fitness facility. While some gyms have equally good equipment, this gym has a first class personality through its staff as well as its facility. The staff drives what appears to be a very healthy membership of all ages and abilities. They help the members develop a palatable atmosphere that is second to none. I would definitely recommend Club 14 for anyone living in the area or visiting Amelia. If you want to be in a positive environment for working out, go and see them and you will see what I am describing. I know now where my membership will be when I move to the island. Thanks to Rae, Morgan, Amanda, and Brittney, etc.. It was good to meet all of you. I will be back soon.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for several years and by far the best gym in the area. Great staff, courteous and knowledgeable. They have all the equipment you need from free weights to machines and they offer all kinds of group classes. Their cardio equipment is on the second floor and they they have enough of it where you can always find available machines. Locker room is always clean, maintained and comfortable. Added bonus is the gym is available 24/7.

Fantastic experience: I travel across the country for business, try lots of gyms. Without exaggeration, Club 14 is the best I have ever been to. I'd guess they have over 2000 lbs of bumper plates, the usual assortment of regular plates, 5 olympic platforms with padded drop areas, 8 places you can squat, 3 heavy bags for boxing. And chalk, big buckets of chalk. Plenty of machines and all the other regular stuff. At the end the of the workout a custom smoothy for the road. It does not get any better. If you live locally and are using another gym you are committing a sin. I'd give anything for a gym like this near where I live. Thank you to the other Google reviewers before me. Without you I would have missed this gem.

Fantastic experience: Seriously the BEST GYM in Nassau county! The staff is amazing and will go above N beyond to help you with anything you might need. They make you feel welcome, like it's your home away from home. They have everything you need for pre and post workout. They offer bunch of different class and they have all the free weights you can handle! I'm proud to call Club14 my home of fitness!

Fantastic experience: I tried all the gyms on the island and there is no doubt this is by far the best. It's also the best gym I've ever been to actually. They really do have everything you can think of and a very smart layout. Great classes with extremely skilled and motivating instructors, plenty of free weights, lots of different types of machines (was great to see startrac and free motion among them, my favs), and an entire cross fit gym. Everyone seems to make the same comment that you don't realize from the outside just how much is on the inside. They also keep it very clean and the locker rooms are spa-like. And it's open 24hrs! It's just a pleasure to go there. I'm heading over now ;) ...

Fantastic experience: I was visiting, so I purchased the 1 week pass for $35. The gym has pretty much all of the equipment a commercial gym might have (and extras like belts and a variety of barbells). The bathroom/locker room was clean. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. The gym was never too busy (during the early afternoon) so there was little to no wait for machines or the squat rack.

Fantastic experience: Club 14 is a great gym with excellent staff and equipment. Definitely the best place to workout in Fernandina Beach.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely LOVE this gym! I’m a bodybuilder and have been to many different gyms around the country and this is my number one favorite. Anytime I’m home visiting my parents, I get a pass. Rae is so sweet and welcoming and even remembers me each time. The equipment selection is awesome and it’s clean and the atmosphere is great. In addition, the smoothie bar is also great! If I return to my hometown to practice medicine I will definitely return as a member.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best gym I've ever belonged to. Rae and staff work tirelessly to ensure the gym remains sanitized and the members contribute their part as well. The gym lacks for nothing with regards to fitness equipment and space to conduct classes. Two thumbs up!!!!!....H

Fantastic experience: I am a member of Club 14 and just recently moved to NJ. I have to say, that no other fitness club we have tried in NJ, can come close to C14! It had everything we need and could ever want in a gym. They make us feel like family! We miss C14 so much, that when we come home to visit, we make it part of our trip to go workout and see our friends!

Fantastic experience: Cleanest gym I've ever been in. On the rare occasion a machine is broken, I've yet to see it still be broken on my next visit. No idea how they manage that. They take feedback from their members on what to bring in and what to take out and the 24 hour access is pretty important to me.

Fantastic experience: I am a former gym owner. The equipment quality and strategy is well thought out. This is a gym where some very fit ppl work out and some ppl that use walkers or canes. They all have something. I was a snowbird there for a month. Some of the Cardio and fitness classes I did not participate in but they have a great variety. It is a gym where you can be a powerlifter, a fitness mom, a regular Jayne or regular Joe and you are going to like. Staff are very nice and helpful. Ashley showed me where to find things when asked but was not hovering. I forgot to add something that was nice. Don't know if it makes sense but they have a taped area by the dumbell area where it allows you to get to and from the dumbells. Very impressive gym and staff.

Fantastic experience: This facility is worth every penny; it is clean, well lighted, and has every type of fitness equipment anyone needs PLUS the classes are excellent - there's something for any level of fitness.

Fantastic experience: My family and I go to Amelia Island every year and working out at Club 14 Is it one of the things I look forward to the most about the trip. Equipment is well-maintained and diverse enough to appeal to everyone from those looking to keep their body moving, those looking to refine their physique, and those seeking to train for performance.

Fantastic experience: love my gym! complete array of machines and equipment. for someone who mostly lifts free weights, I've never had to wait for dumbbells or one of the two squat racks. the place is well organized, the bathrooms spacious and clean. there are rooms dedicated for Les Mills classes, for kickboxing and crossfit, and an upper deck with all the cardio machines. staff is always ready to help, and there's childcare in a dedicated, cutely decorated and fun stocked room!

Fantastic experience: Plenty of workout equipment and friendly staff. A martial arts practice room is in the back for those who need a place to spar or practice their techniques with heavy bags, speed bags, and various other pieces of equipment.

Fantastic experience: Been a member here since January. This is a great facility with a lot of classes included in their membership package. They have cardio upstairs with a studio for most classes, with free weights down stairs on one side and circuit training on the other. There is a large area with heavy bags a speed bag more free weights boxes and more. Showers are available. They have a smoothie bar with multiple proteins and day care is available also. All in all a great place to work out.

Fantastic experience: 8 year member and my favorite gym ever outside of Afghanistan! The staff is friendly, never pushy! They're constantly updating the equipment and the place is always clean and never too busy!

Fantastic experience: First time I've been to Club 14 Fitness - I'm from the Atlanta area and belong to one of those big corporate-owned gyms, where the personal touch really doesn't exist most days. The world as we know it today, doesn't understand customer service - but I feel like I've been coming here for years. Like stated in your Mission Statement - make your Client's feel that they are apart of your family! The gym is a mixture of the newest scientific technology equipment, along with the 'old school' sweat. That accompanied by a warm greeting, by a courteous and knowledgeable staff, makes Club 14 different from the rest. I have enjoyed the experience of being able to come here and truly hope to return very soon. I wish you would consider opening a location in Atlanta - particularly in the Northern Suburbs - I would be with you guys in a heartbeat. If you currently enjoy the gym or are thinking about becoming a member, Club 14 is the placed to be. Arlene Johnson

Fantastic experience: Club 14 is really a great gym. Nice mix of free weights, machines and classes. The owner Rae is always there, staff is friendly and the place is spotless. Its open 24/7 so go when you want. I have been there on New Years day when other gyms are closed and my son goes as late as 11PM. Finally the dues are very reasonable. Robert

Fantastic experience: Club 14 Fitness is a wonderful place to work out and meet people. The facility is spacious, bright and exceptionally clean. The classes, instructors and trainers are all top notch. The equipment selection is huge and a good workout for both resistance and aerobic training is guaranteed. I really like the mix of people which includes friendly folks all all ages. The staff is kind and caring. and they make the best smoothies and protein shakes. Fantastic experience: We spent the month of August in Amelia and signed up for a month long membership at Club 14. We actually live in Houston and belong to Equinox. I would take Club 14 over Equinox any day of the week! The atmosphere is fantastic with people just wanting to work out. The staff is friendly and the instructors great...especially the pilates instructor Julie! She is very spot on! When we come back to town, Club 14 is our gym!
