World Gym - Fayetteville, NC

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for 4 months. It's a great gym tucked away in a back parking lot. It's not as crowded as a lot of the other gyms, and the people and staff are courteous.

Positive experience: It’s a great gym when it’s not busy, they don’t have enough equipment in my opinion, all the bench’s were taken. They are expanding though so hopefully that fixes it.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Everyone is serious about their fitness here. There is an "old school" gym atmosphere that you just don't get anywhere else either. Come here if you are someone wanting to stay fit and/or get fit. Be ready to work.

Fantastic experience: I spent 2 1/2 months at Ft. Bragg and used the gym almost every day. Fantastic gym, with most every machine and weight set you can imagine. Good cardio as well. Very friendly owners and atmosphere in among the members of World Gym

Fantastic experience: This place has turned into my last bastion of freedom among the "mask-up" hellscape that our world has turned into. I would much rather pay them for my membership than deal with the non sense of trying to work out on post for free.

Fantastic experience: Well I've only been working out here for a couple months, but I love it. It has a lot of qualities that I love in a gym. I will lay out all the details and let you decide for yourself: This place has a grungey and raw atmosphere, which I love. I cant stand fru-fru gyms. This place has literally everything you need to workout, unless you do crossfit. I think they are planning on upgrading to appeal to the functional fitness crowd, but right now, not so much. They have leg stuff grouped together with 3 squat racks, 3-4 leg press, 2 deadlift platforms, and a smith machine. The upper body area is packed full of incline, decline and regular bench. I have never had to wait on a bench. They only have two cable sets, and they arent adjustable. It's either all the way up, or all the way down. There there are a plethora of machines to suit your needs, there is a body pump barre-style room for all your calisthenics, as well as a room dedicated to MMA(couple of heavy bags, speed bag). Also, they offer tanning and a spot for kids to play while you lift. This is my favorite off-post gym, and I've looked around. They seem to always be improving, and they're right smack in the middle of town. 4 stars because of how awesome they are, but NOT 5 stars because a 5 star gym would have 24/7 access.

Fantastic experience: This gym is the most hardcore gym in Fayetteville. The plethora of equipment and weights ensure that anyone can train to your full potential. It's always clean, well ventilated, great friendly staff, etc.

Fantastic experience: Atmosphere is great. Bumper plates, weightlifting platform, rogue bars, chalk, squat racks, reverse hyper, sauna, showers, lockers, concept 2 row machines (older model but still well maintained), stair masters, treadmills, plenty of dumbbells, benches, wish there were more kettlebells (1-40lb, 4-30lb, 2-20lb).

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome gym!!! Owner is a very cool dude. Helped me out with the payments as far as getting started there! It's a dungeon!! Everyone has 1 goal there. No BS. OFF POST. Its awesome!!

Fantastic experience: Ok truth - 1st phone call was not quite as I wanted it to be - I read reviews and called back asked for Bryan. This guy is a true business owner and cares about it. I had a great conversation with him . I will be in town for 3 to 5 Mo., he is the only gym that was interested in getting my business. If you are looking for a Gym to call home I strongly encourage to Give World Gym and opportunity. I tried at 4 other gyms in the area and got lot's of BS and Fees. Fantastic experience: Great gym for people that are serious about getting in shape. It has more competitors in it than any gym in the area, and it’s pretty clear why it’s known as Fayetteville’s strongest gym.

Fantastic experience: Great equipment for the free-weight minded gym goers out there who need a real workout. Plenty of benches, squat racks etc. friendly staff too.

Fantastic experience: As my membership at another gym was expiring I wanted to look at options before agreeing to another contract. The staff is great, super friendly, answered any questions I had and have not let me down. The space is great, we aren't working out on top of each other or fighting over one piece of equipment! The hours make it impossible for me to come up with the excuse of I don't have time to work out.

Fantastic experience: So excited to see the changes made! The subpar music, sluggish feel and overused equipment is gone!! Even the desk staff are more exciting!! Options in my workout are crucial and I appreciate this gym facilitating my workout needs.

When we first started we were both overweight, our lives changed, partly because this gym. We love the staff and LOVE what the gym has to offer!
