Fantastic experience: ngl this is my favorite gym ever. Lots of weight machines, cardio, and a fantastic turf area for hiit workouts. It’s pretty darn clean and has its regulars. Clientele is not the most diverse but comes with the area, I suppose. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The staff there is very friendly, and the machines are always working and are always clean. Spin classes with Joann alone make the membership worth it! Would very highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. 20+ years on and off. I don’t have anything bad to say. Nice gym. Good people. Nice seeing a bunch of same people after all these years.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Large, spacious, and lots of things to do. Few gyms in the area have both a pool and handball courts, much less in this kind of clean conditions. The place literally never smells bad and is perfectly climate controlled. Plenty of machines on the first floor, ample space for free weights on the second floor along with studios for classes. They converted the physical therapy office into part of their astroturf field, and it's a nice private spot (except when classes are happening - the area is closed off) for those who want to workout alone or stretch. This place has come a long way. And the staff is remarkable. The best part is there isnt a lot of screaming, yelling, grunting, or obnoxious groups of kids there (a big problem I had with Gold's and Synergy). It's a pleasant environment that I'm glad to be a part of.

Positive experience: Great gym many types of equipment and staff is personable and friendly. The only thing I would be on caution as to what goes on here from a deeper level of fitness programs! The only true flaw was a very high priced month to month contract after I was given the chariot tour hmmmmm worldly wonders await I wonder still to this day!

Positive experience: Overall I'm happy with the gym. Mostly because it is so close to my home. A few things: 1: I always wipe down the equipment I use however the cardio equipment is dripped with sweat marks on the base. 2: the small weight room upstairs: please sweep it every now and then. I'm growing weary of looking at strands of hair on the floor as I stretch 3. Last but NOT least. You need to strictly forbid the dropping of the weight in the big weight room. It's totally disrespectful to all members. Just make a rule and enforce it. It's not hard

Fantastic experience: Still my favorite gym in New York. Has everything you need including pool Whirlpool, steam room, sauna, cafe, classes of all kinds, weight room private personal training room, Pilates room, yoga, boxing, physical therapy, massage therapy, and mini salon, acupuncture locker rooms and an amazing staff. This gym will always be home to me even though I live 250 miles away. I will always visit when I'm in town.

Fantastic experience: This GYM is all about the customer and it shows! I have worked out as various gyms my whole life and I always realized that It all stems from the leadership .. I was lucky enough to meet with David T the head manager here and he took his time out to meet with me to discuss all of my recommendations. He took me so seriously that in 2 weeks he acted upon them immediately, moving some machienes that I felt would fit better in another location. I love the culture here, the weights are put back and the work out equipment is awesome, and they actually clean the bathroom to a sparkle 5 stars from me

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of World Gym Wantagh for over 20 year. It was Wayne Merrick's when my family first joined. I feel very comfortable exercising here. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and though I cannot exercise as strenuously as I did years ago, I can still get the health benefits of using the wide assortment of machines, free weights and exercise classes.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. This is no teenage hangout. A real upscale health club. Plenty of parking. Clean steam, sauna and whirlpool. Perfect place to start your morning.
