Gold's Gym - Fairfax Station

Fantastic experience: Great value and my favorite Gold's location around. The equipment is new and plentiful. Much better than many of their other locations in northern VA.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this place since it replaced the haggard old super market that used to occupy the building around 15 years ago, and I have really never had any complaints. The staff is awesome- they are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have never used them for personal training as I just like to do my own thing, but I would have no qualms about using any of them based on conversations that I have had with them and observations of their interactions with members. I give the morning guy , Patrick, grief because it is fun, but the guy for years has that place open on time even though he must have to get up at an inhuman hour to do so, and he is always friendly and interactive. The people who work out there are cool too. Everyone is appreciative that everyone else there is trying to better themselves , so nobody acts in a condescending or arrogant way. Covid has thinned the crowds for sure, but my only semi issue used to be that in prime hours it was really too crowded to get much done at points. But, I am lucky in that I have a flexible schedule. All in all, it is a great deal for the money, and it is in an easy walking distance for many. Update: I recently found out I was overbilled by a lot....A LOT. I have faith that they are rectifying it, but I will chime back in soon

Fantastic experience: Great staff, the machines are well maintained, wifi works great and there is plenty of equipment & weights regardless of time of day you workout. Very convenient for anyone with access.

Fantastic experience: Super clean, professional, good price and tons of machines and good people working there, and also working out there. They're not just a bunch of young bros bumping into people and taking selfies. This is the place for people who want to actually get a good workout in, rather than be annoyed or disrupted. The gold standard for gyms! I'll never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Areas are clean all the time, enough space to do non-machine cardio such as jump rope, Friendly and professional staff, plenty of space for parking spots. The only downside is coming from gold's gym policy which does not offer all club access membership (with the same rate) while using Corporates and Frenchies clubs under the same contract. I had the membership ("of all club access") but that was not working with Frenchies branches in Northern VA.

Fantastic experience: Great facility. Pricing model is silly (bi-weekly vs monthly price advertising) but the facility is awesome. And “Hye Tension’s” moronic review about masks below shows he/she has no grasp on science or reality.

Fantastic experience: I pump iron there. So yeah its awesome. Clean and well lighted. Movie theater, and a Crossfit expansion is available at the gym Movie theater has machines in it, so while you work out, you can watch a film too Staff are as always very professional. It has a welcoming environment. In addition there is a daycare that is attached for working parent's.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in the area -- clean, great selection/offering of machines and amazing staffers. Wouldn't ever think of going anywhere else. How they performed during this past year/handled the pandemic, with all the cleaning/attention to detail, shows how much better they are than their competitors.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful gym. Absolutely amazing compared to other gyms around here. For example, anytime fitness charges more than this gym and have fewer equipment and facilities. Huge bonus for this gym is that they have a sauna, which I absolutely love

Fantastic experience: This Gold’s Gym location at FAIRFAX STATION gets my highest 5 star rating. The facility is large, airy, and clean. The staff is friendly, courteous, and makes exercise FUN. They are excellent teachers and always have the clients’ abilities in mind. I literally look forward to going to work out. The members are friendly and not competitive in the least. My wife and I have made several new friends during our first year of membership. The fees are well priced. Literally, I cannot think of what else I could want in a gym membership. A big plus is my new fitness. Highly, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: They have a room here where the entire room is a movie theater except that the seats are treadmills and ellipticals instead of movie seats. Such a cool idea. More places need to do this.

Fantastic experience: I would give 5 stars but they seem to have an ongoing problem with their internet. Using the Internet helps me get through the 1 1/2 hours I’m there; and need it for business. Should be a simple fix. Update 10-23-2019 . They got their internet fixed. Now 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I love it here. The team is SUPER friendly. I don't use the personal training services, but all the coaches still say hi to me just because they've seen me around the gym. Also, the members of this gym all seem friendlier than my previous gym (Planet Fitness) which is NOT what I expected. The equipment is great (I prefer to lift), and this gym is never so crowded that I can't complete my workout plan for the day. Absolutely love it, I'll never go back to PF.

Fantastic experience: This particular Golds Gym is well-run, always clean, and full of a wide variety of equipment. It also has a good selection of classes of all sorts and even still a cardio cinema and child care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for going on 5 years. I have had great experiences with this particular Golds. Good equipment, seems clean, I love the cardio cinema, smoothie bar, sauna and yoga classes. Staff is friendly as well!

I would definitely consider signing up for membership based on my OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE AT GOLDS GYM! ! !
