Fantastic experience: $15 a month if you get recommended by a friend. The gym is open 24 hours so whatever your schedule is you’ll be able to go when you are available. Members of the staff that I have met have been pleasant. I am very happy that I go to this gym.

Fantastic experience: If you need weights and racks and machines and cardio equipment, this is a great basic gym. Of course, they have trainers and classes but you can’t beat the price. Brian, the owner, is also a good guy and who doesn’t like supporting a small business.

Fantastic experience: Good equipment and a good character at the gym. Not some pansy planet fitness type gym. Workers are always cool especially Tyler Mains who I have seen diligently cleaning the locker rooms many times. The fumes from the cleaning chemicals have clearly had an impact on this boys brain but he’s a good kid and wasn’t the brightest to begin with anyway. Good gym. Will continue to go here.

Fantastic experience: This place have 24/7 access. 4+ squat racks, and personal spray bottles. It’s convenient and it’s extremely flexible. As a student I like to wake up at 4 and go workout. Which it’s so convenient and flexible for me. Time is money people!!!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a couple of years. Standard commercial gym with a good price point and a turf field. Handled the pandemic really well- actually enforced policies of social distancing, masking, and did not charge members when the gyms were closed. They even offered renting out equipment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for almost a year now what I like about this gym is its desire for cleanliness when you walk in you are given a bottle of Sanitizer to use the entire time that you are in the gym. Locker rooms have limited locker use and all stations of workout are designed to be at least 10 feet apart from any other person exercising. Most of the patrons who use the gym ware masks for the majority of the time they are exercising and everyone is courteous of others. I like this gym a lot.

Fantastic experience: This gym has exceptional customer service, and provides a welcoming environment from the time you walk in by the front desk, to the time you leave. The staff are very friendly, and the variety of equipment is great. It has everything I need to get a great workout in, and I feel safe doing so because of the effective COVID precautions the gym has taken. I definitely recommend this gym if you want to have a positive workout experience.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! Great prices and Good equipment. Brian is a phenomenal manager and really cares about the staff and his members. Additionally, they do free personal training sessions to help figure out how to best help people and make personal workouts tailored to that person's abilities/goals. Definitely, one of the best gyms in the area!

Fantastic experience: A decent facility with very friendly staff. I love this gym. The trainers here are very friendly and professional. Its a wonderful place for perfect workouts. The gym itself is very good, led by a fine general manager. My experience with world gym has been great. Since joining a year ago, I've worked with a trainer twice a week, and I can honestly say that this one-on-one support has helped put me on a path toward better overall health. The trainer takes time to build strong rapport with his clients to get to know their goals. Beside his knowledge and expertise, he is personable and makes exercising fun. He is encouraging, supportive and his positive approach gives me confidence to reach my fitness goals. If you want to see results and reach your fitness goals I recommend booking a session with one of the trainers. I have been pleased with the facilities, have had good experiences with the classes that I have tried, and have always found the staff to be friendly and approachable without being too sales-pitchy.

Fantastic experience: The best gym membership I've ever had. It's easy to tell for yourself that the quantity, and variety of machines, free weights, racks, cardio, and kinetic fitness space is second to none, what takes time to notice is the people. Specifically the owner his staff, but their attitudes seemed to be contagious amongst members which gave the entire gym a real 'varsity-team/family' atmosphere that was encouraging and motivating to work-out in. Thank you for setting a gym culture that kept me wanting to come back. I'll miss this place and hope to be re-stationed in the area so I can come back... PS - I want to do right by this gym, so I'm going to copy/paste this onto YELP as well. So any readers reading this - please know that I don't often review/post, but felt compelled to do so here.

Fantastic experience: Home from out of state college for the summer, I was searching for a gym I could join just until I went back to school. I chose World Gym through the same process I selected a school by extensive comparison in an Excel spreadsheet. Of all the gyms I toured in the area, this one was for me. Brian, the head guy over there, is a very friendly face who was so attentive as I explained what I was looking for. Physical pain has kept me from regularly working out in the past. Hunter has been the greatest personal trainer I could ask for. He understands the physiology of the body so well and what each move does to each part of it. He instructs me how to do an exercise in a way to use the correct muscle groups instead of causing further pain to my injured ones. My goal for the gym this summer is to learn how to work out, without pain, so I can continue when I return to school. The heart rate monitors are a great tool for us to see where I'm at and know when to take a break or push harder. Personal training sessions as well as classes are perfectly tailored to your body and experience. The exercises I have been instructed how to do are challenging, make me sweat, and get my heart rate up but at the same time do not completely kill me to the point I want to quit. Classes are offered for all ranges of experience. The Foundation Class has been a great opportunity for me to work out with a small, friendly, positive, and encouraging group while receiving professional guidance. Greg is great at leading these classes as he provides positive motivation and clear instruction. All in all, World Gym is a terrific place. I highly recommend joining over anywhere else. The people are great with friendly staff and patrons. It has all the equipment you would need and more. The locker room is clean with nice showers and a personal steam room. I love World Gym and am so happy I decided to join here.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for about 5-6 years now, and it's excellent. There's plenty of cardio equipment upstairs if you need that, and there's plenty of weights, racks, and machines downstairs as well. Sometimes people have trouble putting plates back or organizing them, but it's not too bad. They offer exercise classes I believe, but I've never taken any. Membership is cheap and well worth it.

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything which is pretty standard for most if not all gyms. But what I like about this gym is that they don’t rip members off. You really get your money’s worth. The bathrooms are always clean. The lockers are spacious.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Pretty much get the whole gym to yourself midnight - 5am. Most of the negative reviews are from incompetent individuals. I'm glad they left, probably the same people who fail to re-rack the weights. Been going past 2+ years every single day, haven't had a single problem whatsoever. 5/5 Best gym for price.

Fantastic experience: The gym is great. It has a good selection of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. It has everything you need for a good workout and you can't beat the price. I see negative reviews on the staff, but I have had no issues with them, they have always been friendly and helpful to me. The only improvement i can think of would be to upgrade the locker room as far as getting a better sauna or adding a steam room, but then again what do you want for 10 bucks a month?

Fantastic experience: I literally love this gym. It's the first gym I've ever gone to regularly, but since starting I've had the occasion to go to a few others, all which just felt like a disappointment in comparison. I feel so comfortable here, the staff is friendly, everyone who goes is kind and mind their own business. There's a sense of unspoken community idk. The vibe is just on point. Plus, $10 a month, you cannot get that anywhere.

Fantastic experience: World Gym, open 24 hours, except Sat & Sun closing at 8 PM, great gym for a workout, has lots of fitness program for individual on budget. New equipment, in a totally renovated building is a no frill gym in city of Fairfax at an unbeatable price of $10 a month, but some tricky additional fees and charges you must negotiate & read the contract carefully for some additional surprises.
