Fantastic experience: This past Summer I realized I was going to need to start working with a personal trainer if I wanted to achieve the goals I had set for myself. I wanted to strengthen my core, lose some weight and eventually get to the point where I could learn a routine so that I could do it at home. At the time, I was focused solely on starting up Pilates to strengthen my core and when I started doing my research on trainers in the area, I came across Laura Williamson. Yes, she is a Pilates trainer, but she is also so much more. I booked 16 sessions with her and we did a wide variety of exercises in addition to Pilates. Laura also wrote up a thorough program for me to do at home. I love Laura’s approach and her professional style. She was very calm and patient with me even when I asked her to repeat herself 3 times, which was very appreciated! During the initial consult, she worked with me to assess everything. The second hour was spent doing pilates. After that, we alternated sessions with strength training and pilates. I love Laura’s studio. It’s very clean and bright, and the equipment is spaced out well. It’s a very welcoming space. I’m looking forward to the potential Pilates classes that she may be starting in 2023! I would highly recommend Laura. She is an expert in her field.

Fantastic experience: Working out with Laura at Bare Fitness was really great! I hadn't been to a gym in some years and was a bit concerned that I wouldn't be able to keep up. I did the duet plan with a friend; Laura was great at choosing the right exercises and before I knew it I was feeling great, gained stamina and had tons of energy. Laura is really knowledgeable about all things fitness related and nutrition and gave me tons of tips that I use to this day. Also a super plus is the gym is REALLY clean and tidy with great equipment. Definitely highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I needed help to get started. Laura did just that and more. Winter and Covid are a tough combination. I got a great routine and some low cost adds to my work out gear about $40 for something I bet comes cheaper I took time in Google. . I left with a great work out plan. On my last day I tried the reformer with Laura. That was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and start Pilates. All about the smaller muscles, posture, feet and so much more. I am learning more than expected. Just terrific. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Laura is an awesome trainer!! As of now I have worked out with her for almost twenty years. When I started working with Laura I was on the other side of maturity and was in miserable physical shape. With Laura’s help, I lost weight and had an immense increase of strength and suppleness. As an MD, I am in awe of Laura’s amazing knack to pay extreme attention for adjusting one’s body position in order to maximize the gain in strength and flexibility. During training, Laura’s smallest body corrections and adjustments are immediately perceived in the group of targeted muscles or articulations. Training with Laura allowed me to continue to stay strong and supple at quite an elderly age. I highly recommend Laura as a most attentive and effective trainer.
Fantastic experience: Laura is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend her. She really knows her stuff. She initially takes the time to get to know you and understand your fitness goals before she tailors a program to meet your needs. I was originally interested in taking Pilates but after talking with her she recommended I focus on personal training. My training sessions were great. I learned a lot from her because at her heart she is a teacher. She ensured my form was correct and challenged me during our meetings. She also provided nutritional guidance. I am well on my way to achieving my fitness goals. I give her five stars and two thumbs up.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Laura for 5 one-hour Pilates (Reformer and Cadillac) sessions. She was great at listening to my concerns (lack of flexibility being my main concern) and tailoring our sessions to meet my goals. She is a skilled and warmly professional trainer. Her attention to detail regarding form was greatly appreciated.
Fantastic experience: Laura is an excellent trainer to work with and wonderful person to know. I worked with Laura exclusively for personal training during my third trimester of pregnancy and for months post partum. She thoughtfully created my program based on my goals and the toll pregnancy and having a newborn has on a body. She clearly explains the exercises, the why, and is authentic in her approach. I have been working with Laura during the pandemic and she's takes safety very seriously and professionally.

Fantastic experience: Laura is an excellent trainer and Pilates instructor. She makes you work hard but always takes into account any injuries or limitations. I’ve gotten a tremendous amount out of working with her and the studio space is fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Laura was my personal trainer for over 10 years when I lived in Boston. She is the best I've ever had. She works her clients hard but stays within individual limits. Plus, she is a really nice person. I highly recommend her.
Fantastic experience: Laura has a wide and deep set of knowledge, skills, and experience. During the past nine years she has helped me recover from heart surgery and a life threatening MRSA infection. Beyond helping my recovery from these events, she helped me change my lifestyle to minimize the chances of these reoccurring. Fantastic experience: My team sponsored Laura for the entire two months we were in lockdown - I was at the first class and looked forward to every day after that! She is high energy and employs a variety of different styles, and is always changing up her routine. SO MUCH MORE FUN than the gym, and I saw results like I haven't before (side abs alright!)
Fantastic experience: Beautiful, clean studio. Laura is wonderful and a true professional. She is great at understanding what you need to work on. I had been struggling with shoulder pain for almost a year. She gave me specific exercises and after 6 weeks I had no pain. She is great at challenging you to do things that you wouldn't do on your own. I highly recommend!
