Fantastic experience: When I realized that the ‘no pain, no gain’ approach to exercise from my 20s and 30s wasn’t working in my 50s, I turned to Cindy Sullivan for a better way to stay fit. Cindy’s use of strength and flexibility training has made a huge improvement in the way I feel. Her warm and caring encouragement is a great incentive for me to exercise between sessions. Cindy is a great trainer and it is a pleasure to work with her!
Fantastic experience: Cindy is a great trainer who has been giving Zoom and in person classes for members of the Beacon Hill Village for several years. My wife and I have been attending her classes since we joined BHV two years ago. We attend her stretch and strength and cardio physical fitness classes three times a week religiously. They are the highlights of our days. Highly recommended!!!
Fantastic experience: Cindy's classes for seniors are amazing! She tells you exactly how to lower or raise the difficulty to fit your fitness level. She moves from stretches to cardiac to strengthening and balance with perfect timing and sequencing. I have definitely grown stronger and more flexible since I started. doing her workouts. . Fantastic experience: Cindy is awesome! I have worked with her for a year and she has made me look forward to working out. Her broad spectrum of knowledge in fitness, health, and wellness have allowed us to zero in on my personal fitness goals. Fantastic experience: cindy is awesome! her classes are geared for all as she shows different levels of moves so that everyone can participate safely at their own pace. her classes are fun and her enthusiasm motivates us. i have exercised all my life both individually, in classes and with various trainers and cindy is the best .her classes are a total body workout, she gears her exercises to promote strength and agility and to maintain and improve function.her classes are varied and she is always introducing new exercises and routines. i take her dvd with me whenever i travel, but now with zoom i can participate in her virtual classes no matter where i am.
Fantastic experience: Cindy’s classes have been such a bright spot for me during these times. From her stretch class to the fitness classes, they are all so worthwhile. Played my best golf after stretch these past two weeks! I love how she makes sure all can modify to their ability and how she varies the exercises from time to time. I try not to miss a session.

Fantastic experience: In this new age of Zoom fitness classes, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in one of Cindy's online classes. I entered the first class very apprehensive about how this could possibly work. From the minute I signed in, I knew that it would be great. Her ability to engage with the participants, give great instruction and keep everyone motivated throughout the workout is extraordinary. She held my attention as well as that of the others. It was clear to me why she has such a great following of her students. I will definitely continue working out with Cindy!
Fantastic experience: We've been training with Cindy for more than two years. Our days start on a high note with morning workouts. Every week we take an “active agers” class and also have a private training session. The abilities of the active agers vary, but Cindy adjusts to each of us so that everyone has a challenging workout. And she changes the moves and the music so that we’re never bored. Cindy can focus on areas that require particular attention in our private sessions. That could be strengthening certain muscles, stretching stiff joints, or improving our balance. Just as in class, Cindy keeps us on our toes by constantly changing the routines We would like to do more because working out with Cindy is fun and hard and always interesting. Fantastic experience: I was an avid yoga participant for years. I loved the stretching, the exercise, the peacefulness i felt after my sessions, and i carried it with me in everything I did. Then i got sick. Part of my recovery, and greatly encouraged by my physical therapists and doctors, involved joining a yoga class at the Zakim Center, part of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I took part in the Beacon Hill Village yoga class yesterday and i left feeling as refreshed and energetic as i had before my illness. Cindy Sullivan ran the course, using her skills and expertise to lead us in stretching and moves. Soft music played in the background. We used chairs and mats and Cindy let us know to do only what was right for each of us. She encouraged us and guided us for the hour. Everyone loved the class. Today my muscles feel better than they have in a long time. The session was therapeutic for me, relaxing, and great fun.
Fantastic experience: Cindy Sullivan is the best trainer I have had in the forty years I have been working out at home. She knows exactly what she is doing. She tailors the workout on each occasion according to the situation. The time goes quickly and she is never boring, which, in my opinion, makes her a star.
Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to Cindy Sullivan’s fitness classes for active aging. Cindy combines aerobic, strength training, stretching and balance in every one hour fun class. As a result of this conditioning, I was able to prevent myself from having a serious fall last week.

Fantastic experience: Cindy is a fantastic trainer. My 94-year-old mom and I work out with her twice a week and, thanks to her careful attention, she's helped us both improve our strength, stamina, and balance. She created a customized workout for each of us so we can make progress where we need it, but safely, keeping in mind our limitations. She's always alert for new approaches that might benefit us. She explains and demonstrates each exercise completely and carefully. She pays close attention to everything we do so we have the proper form and can get the maximum benefit from each exercise. Plus, she is a delightful person!

However, we have never had the marvelous experience we have been fortunate enough to have until we retained Cindy Sullivan. Fantastic experience: Cindy's class is one of the best I have ever taken. I am currently in a class of over 50folks. She makes it interesting, challenging at whatever level or age group, and fun . Even in a group, she keeps an eye on each person for technique, to make sure no one injures themselves,and everyone's getting the most from each exercise by doing it correctly. Terrific !
