Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about Gracie Jui Jitsu. Both of our children (ages 10 and under) love attending class, but the most amazing transformation has been the confidence our son now has. Seth is a wonderful instructor, and he teaches the kids not just jui jitsu but also life skills. He engages with each kid, knows their names, and knows how to motivate and encourage them to learn even more. Now, our entire family does jui jitsu, and I look forward to class just as much as the kids. I also can’t overlook mentioning the pricing, which is a steal for having kids participate up to 3 times a week, and that’s extremely important, especially with today’s economy.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good remarks about this program. Seth takes the time to understand the children and converts his teaching style to meet their needs. Since my children have been attending class I have seen growth and development. My oldest is striving for his next strip or belt and tries to tailor his behaviors to make that obtainable. Seth truly does understand the children, relates to them, and in return the children respect and idolize him as their coach. Recently my child was having issues and coach Seth was able to bring the discussion to his philosophy talk. Seth and Becklee are a great team that make their students feel welcomed and empowered. They encourage a positive attitude, which I find essential for subjective well-being - as well as social interaction. They do not hand out participation trophies, but they tactfully emphasize there are no winners or losers. Instead they highlight progress and perseverance. He's a top-quality jiu jitsu instructor for both adults and kids, and he goes above and beyond for his students both on and off the mats. His teaching philosophy is based on self-defense and respect, not on aggression or a win-at-all-costs macho mentality like a lot of bjj gyms. A friend initially got me started in judo then quickly learned about Seth’s school and invited me to join. I immediately fell in love with the atmosphere, the people, and Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He has been one of my favourite training partners and I wouldn’t be the Jiu-Jitsu practitioner I am today without him.
