UBE Physical Therapy and Performance

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend UBE for physical therapy. I worked with two of their PTs, Ryan and Alyssa, and both were great. Poor Ryan had to deal with me post-injury but pre-surgery and she tried everything to help me heal, but surgery was the only answer. I had a hip replacement in January 2022 and started seeing Alyssa in March 2022. My last day was today and I can do anything I did before my injury - yoga, rowing, stairs, hiking, driving a clutch! Alyssa paid attention to what I needed and designed the perfect program to get me where I needed to go. I'll tell everyone to ask for UBE for physical therapy! Thank you for all you did to make me whole and happy again.

Fantastic experience: UBE is the third or fourth PT office I have visited over years and is going to be my last. From the moment I was checked in, I felt like the entire team cared about my health and wellbeing. About a year and a half ago, I injured my knee out hiking down near Ellsworth. Because I was about 6 months into a reinvigorated exercise program, the first thing that Cat did was develop a spreadsheet that listed the sorts of gym activities I could do, along with layers of activities that I could begin to add in as time went on and my knee got better. Between the body work (including dry needling) and exercises, my knee got good as new, or maybe even better. This summer, I had a flareup from a back injury that I had years ago. Even though I had to wait a week or two for an appointment that fit my schedule, I refused to go anywhere else. I'm happy to say that I am now pain free and the focus is on reintroducing and modifying activities (front squats, etc.) into my exercise routine safely. It is worth mentioning that UBE is committed to training the next generation of Physical Therapists. Patients are given the option to allow students from UNE to observe and assist (under Cat's watchful eye) in my treatment. I think this is extraordinarily cool, and kudos to the entire team for participating in this program. I truly can't say enough about UBE. It only takes one visit to know that this is a great place for not only injury rehab but also sports performance improvement.

Fantastic experience: Alyssa is a great PT! She is a great person to work with, and she's able to work around my schedule. She is very creative with making exercises for those who have certain mobility issues. I have used her with multiple injuries several times and she has never failed me. Her programs are elaborate and very well thought out and I enjoy working with her. I will continue to use her as my PT in the future if needed.

Fantastic experience: I've never been much of a gym person, but I love this gym! My husband joined first and I wanted to see what it is all about. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They make me feel welcome and always encourage me. I've learned so much about getting in shape and about how hard I can push myself. I tell all my friends about UBE!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was sent for therapy by her Doctor for a knee injury, I chose UBE on a whim after some google search. I am so very glad I did, one hour with Katie and she knew she had a torn meniscus. She will be having surgery and then returning to UBE for therapy. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, always attentive on the phone, the facility was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: I enjoy the variety of exercises and the group I work out with. I’m pushing myself to increase my range of motion and core strength/balance. The facility is extremely well kept and equipment always clean! The team is professional and caring. They truly want each member to see gains and self improvement. Fantastic experience: Doing PT here. Awesome Place awesome people great workout. Had several brain stem stroke five years ago. Lost my left side completely. Did my regular physical therapy after rehab. Wanted to continue with physical therapy so started seeing Katie. Cannot even begin to tell you how awesome she is and the gym I am walking and using my arm so much better. Back to golfing 9 holes also started walking doing the 9 holes. UBE is wonderful all the people working there are very friendly and help you if you need it. Great place to go for getting in great shape.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I were looking to get back in shape and found the perfect gym. UBE has an amazing staff and a clean and energizing atmosphere with excellent equipment. I Love the classes.The classes are custom to every level of athlete/member. It didn't matter what my age or level of fitness was. It is like having my own private coach and the coaches fit the workouts to your needs.The staff motivates, inspires and knowledgeably corrects your form. Joining UBE was one of the best decisions I have made. I feel so much stronger, balanced, and flexible. It is a great way to start my day and relieve stress.
