Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym family for many years and can't say enough good things about Coach Joe Alexander. Students are show real-world techniques in a way that makes complete sense to each of us. Our teaching is personalized to our skill levels - ALL people at ALL levels and abilities are welcome in the classes. Joe completely enjoys what he does and it comes through in each of our classes. We work hard and have a great time doing so. Children, teens, adults . . . everyone is empowered, supported and elevated. People from all walks of life are welcomed with open arms! You truly become part of a family when you become a student at Alexander Academy. If needed, the tools we learn can be used for protection in real-life situations. These techniques can be taken with us outside of the classroom walls. I am also proud of all the give-back programs that our gym is a part of- community is so very important to each and every one of us, but, especially to Coach Joe and he makes it a priority of our team to encourage each other in and outside of our classes and to elevate and give back to those in need when we can. I am so proud that my daughter and I are part of such a giving, knowledgeable, professional academy!

Fantastic experience: Positive: Communication , Professionalism , Quality , Value This gym has super nice people, the atmosphere is pleasant as soon as you walk in, they make you feel like you belong there, and they treat everybody like family. They truly have a good group of people there and I would highly recommend you give it a try no matter who you are they will accept everyone.

Coach Joe Alexander is great with kids (mainly because he's a big kid ) Joe and Wendy's motivations are pure, in that they truly desire people, especially women and children, to be safe; to equip them with the tools necessary to defend themselves against someone trying to do them harm. There is a truly warm, home-like vibe in this place. They are amazing people doing amazing work!
