Northwest Valley Family YMCA

Fantastic experience: Awesome facility with pool, basketball courts, free weights, machines, classrooms, and even a kids place where they can hang out while you get a quick workout in. So much more! Really priced well for what you get. Oh and it doesn't get too busy.

Fantastic experience: We've been coming here for about 4 years now. Our daughter has flourished when we got her enrolled in the programs at this YMCA. She really came out of her shell and gained SO much confidence when we signed her up for Volleyball. Her Coach, Coach Elder is hands down amazing with these kids. He teaches them the skills they need to become better players and most importantly teammates to each other. We have so much respect for what he does for us and our daughter here. This Y has become our second home! Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Great staff very friendly.I love that they remember your name feels welcoming! Just wish they would open the pool at least for feb march and april and heat it like they used to, for water aerobics.I would be also willing to pay extra for water aerobics class ..but im happy for what they offer for now. Also its clean in work out area and 95 percent of the time the restroom is very clean!

Fantastic experience: YMCA is the best around, my family and I LOVE it. Is always clean and their staff is supportive and friendly. The equipment is always clean and running. The environment is great for families and they have a wide variety of classes. Yoga on Saturdays with Natalie and Total Body Conditioning on Thursdays with Sara are my favorites. They only thing I would change is the opening time, they open at 6:00 am and is hard to make a routine before work, I wish they opened at 5:00 AM, but that is difficult as not too many people show up that early.

Fantastic experience: This is the ABSOLUTE BEST ever gym! Their staff and trainers are a picture of no hard selling, enthusiasm, and professionalism. The gym and its equipment are so PRISTINE that we thought they opened recently! The owner certainly is highly passionate about fitness. It is THE PLACE you should go, if you wish to quickly get in shape!!!

Fantastic experience: I'm here three to five times a week for my morning workout, along with an evening or two for my daughter's sports activities. Nice facility, nice staff.

Fantastic experience: Just started working out here about a month ago. The prices are amazing ($57/MONTH) compared to Mountainside Fitness that charges $100+ a month for all 9 of us. The facility is clean. Some of the machines were I little dusty but not too bad. My only complaint is regarding the staff that take care of the small children. The morning staff are amazing. There are more mature women and one guy. They take care of my twins well. The 4-8pm shift on the other hand are not so great. They are younger maybe college kids or straight out of high school with no experience and bad attitudes. There's one girl there with thick drawn on eyebrows....I have literally walked back out of the building when she is there. She interrupted me in the middle of my workout to ask me if it was ok to give my son a bottle because he was crying. Like why do you have to ask? I prepared everything for you to take care of my twins. So I only go in the mornings now.

Fantastic experience: The staff is nice the area is clean and everyone is willing to have a helping hand. This gym is a nice place to socializ and learn new work out from others. The staff are always wanting to know more about the type of person you are and sometimes becoming a close firend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place. After an hour or so you sort of forget your in Arizona. Not used to seeing so much kindness in one place. Then you step out side and it's back to... well you know.

Fantastic experience: Very good YMCA. Pool is small, but ok. Gym is great, and basketball court is always crowded. Friendly staff. Wish they had cubbies holes for your stuff, like the Goodyear Y.

Fantastic experience: I just started going daily and I love this location. It is a great size and I have always found a machine I wanted. The staff is extremely friendly and patient.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out! Plays current music. Plenty of locker space friendly staff and clean pool! It doesn't reek of chlorine! Usually not to busy so there's no wait to work out and plenty of weights.
