Fantastic experience: Good gym here in Placerville. Plenty of cardio machines and a good assortment of free weights. The only downside I've noticed is that there is only 1 squat rack / bench press station (2 if you count the assisted press station), so sometimes you may have to wait a bit to do bench press. But overall, it's a good value, clean and plenty of equipment for your workout.

Fantastic experience: I live a nomadic lifestyle and enrolling in short term gym memberships is quick and easy with Snap Fitness. The gym in Placerville is clean, and there are plenty of machines to use even in busy times. I appreciated Daniel’s friendly demeanor and no fuss enrollment and cancellation process. No hidden fees or pressure to extend my membership. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Love this snap they have alot of equipment that the other 2 shingle/Pollock don't an it's always clean an doesn't smell gross like some gyms do an I love that they always have the Clorox wipes to wipe down the equipment. It's never to crowded when I go either so they get 5* from me

Fantastic experience: The manager Mary was extremely nice and super helpful. She was able to sign me up super quickly and walked me through most the equipment on my first day. The gym was super clean and offered lots of anti bacterial wipes, which was great due to the pandemic. I even made some new friends, very comfortable and positive environment. Definitely would recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: This Snap Fitness is by far the best one I have ever been to. I used to go everyday, but after COVID, I was extremely skeptical. Luckily, they recently hired a new manager named Mary, who made my experience 100 times better. When I walked in, I was instantly greeted, making me feel super welcome in this unsure time. What made my experience even better was the fact that it was super clean! Mary made sure everything was clean and safe for everyone coming in there. Since I haven’t been there in a while, I wanted to talk to her about getting back into shape. She was super polite and very helpful. She was a trainer and she’s a nutritionist, so she was very helpful. Because of her I will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I were in Placerville for a week due to a family wedding. We have been struggling to exercise during the pandemic. Although I had planned ahead, by bringing weights and elastic bands, I decided to see if the local gym would be willing to take a couple of visitors for a week long memebership/daily drop fee. I called snap fitness and spoke with Mary. She was very nice and consideriate to our situation, and said she would call back when she had spoken to the manager. Shortly after, I received a phone call for Mary. She said and they would be happy to host us for the week as a courtesy. If I was delighted to say the least! The gym was extremely clean. It was outfitted with sanitized wipe dispensers throughout. It is literally one of the cleanest gyms I have ever been to. The weight and equipment are more than adequate. They also have excellent cardio machines and a functional fitness area that is open to all members. The gym was never over crowded, and the employees, trainer and members are all very nice people. I had a nice conversation with the manager, Joseph, and look forward to seeing him and the rest of the Snap Fitness family on our future visits!

Fantastic experience: I am from out of town and was looking for a place to work out and was lucky enough to find Snap fitness. This is a very clean and well laid out health club. All of the equipment worked as it was supposed to and there was plenty of water and cleaning supplies. If I lived in this area it would be definitely someplace I would work out. Bud Brunkow

Joe Mackay, the general manager, allowed me to workout at his gym for the week of Thanksgiving while I was visiting for a very affordable rate. He was very accommodating to allow for this to happen. If I lived in Placerville I would for sure workout here and I recommend this gym to anyone and everyone! You will have a very affordable gym rate, great equipment, and a personable staff to help.

Fantastic experience: Best gym in Placerville. Welcoming environment for all fitness levels, supportive people, and lots of competitions + classes make Snap a fun gym experience. Trainers do a great job. Plus it's clean and membership rates are very affordable. Management has done a fantastic job this past year enhancing the space and creating a fun community. Coming from a person who isn't usually comfortable in gyms, this is somewhere that is enjoyable and motivating to work out.
