Crunch Fitness - El Cajon Jamacha

Fantastic experience: Great gym with awesome extras thrown into the basic membership, (ie. Hydro massage, great staff, sauna, 2 pools, hottub, etc...) Very nice floor plan and great equipment layout. Two stories to accommodate less crowding. 25 bucks a month gets you a lot at this place!!

Fantastic experience: Went for a one day trial. Lots of machines and equipment. Provided spray and paper towels for cleaning. Staff was friendly. Environment was good and not intimidating at all. I left with a membership, will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I am a member for 20 years before was clean also there was the rules the Sana now is off all the time The pool closed all equipment broken people they do whatever they need no rules Break the lockers taking our stuff they need to change it as soon as possible and fix everything I don’t like it anymore

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Has a big pool! only downsize is its very propular i try to go on low times. Use the crunch app to see how busy it is. If you want a more low key crunch the one in parkway plaza is smaller and less crowdey but has less amenities ( no pool ect ) also love that I DON'T NEED A MASK to work out HUGE plus

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years and what can I say, it's a gym. There's a lot of traffic thru here especially from 5-9pm to the point where it gets crowded but considering the sheer amount of member the Crunch team does a good job keeping everything clean and organized. I just wish members knew how to read so they could rack their weights in the proper place....if they rack their weights at all. Also, I only pay $20 for my peak membership since I'm grandfathered in which is much cheaper than most other gyms.

Fantastic experience: I joined for the pool and this gym has the best outdoor pool set-up I've ever seen. Not only is there a refreshing lap pool, there is also a warmer heated pool. Then there is a large jacuzzi. Showers in the locker room top off the day.

Fantastic experience: I’ve called this location my home gym for about 8 years now and always come back to it as it has an awesome variety and large quantities of weights machines, and cardio equipment. The facility is huge and the layout well-done making use of the space. Staff is always polite and even through the pandemic, it’s apparent the facility and staff are keeping the gym clean and well ventilated. You rock crunch Jamacha!

Fantastic experience: Love this gym!! Clean, great classes, awesome instructors and trainers! I have never been a huge fan of his, but, I really enjoy my time at Crunch! Fantastic experience: At first when I first came to the gym, I was not very impressed with the whole Ambiance the whole experience in general at first. A lot of the machines were broken most of the stuff. We're just looking nasty and not very sanitary and generally the atmosphere of the whole place. Just kind of left a lot to be desired. But that aside I had been attending this place a lot more often the past month and I must say they had made much much. Needed improvements to this place while I cannot say that most of the stuff is fully up to par. I will give this place credit for taking notice of a lot of the negative reviews and doing something about it cuz it really needed it. Here's hoping to seeing more good things out of this place. Somethings have still a little more work to do, but overall I like it and I would recommend as if you're in the neighborhood Thank this place for all the major upgrades

David the manager is really making this club a joy to be at. The equiptment is very clean and well maintained and its a great environment. Brittney is always friendly and cleaning when im there!!

Fantastic experience: Tasha and Karlie were super friendly and helpful. I called with a million questions about the flyer I got in the Mail. Karlee answered all of my questions and had everything ready for me when I got there. Tasha helped me get started.n I had every intention of getting the 7 day free trial and using it for the week. After receiving phenomenal customer service from everyone there, including the daycare lady, I decided to sign up. David was able to help me out and match the Corporate offer that i got in the mail. It was half the price of 24 hour and includes wayyyyy more. The tanning alone is worth switching. I am very happy with this gym and it’s HUGE. Everything is clean and new. It’s not super crowded and there’s at least 2 of everything. If you are paying more than 30$ a month and don’t have tanning or massages included. You should come check Crunch out. They are doing this Gym thing Right.

Fantastic experience: Great fitness center! Everyone is keeping 6' social distancing. Clean equipments, and disinfectants are available in various places through out the gym. You are only allowed to walk in if, you are wearing a mask and have a towel. On top of that, they check your temperature. Once you are at the equipments and ready to work out, you can remove your mask. It's very safe to work out there!

Fantastic experience: My kinda gym! Staff are kind and there is plenty of equipment. My only request would be to turn the music down a little. I always hear it over my headphones, so I assume everyone else can too (and we all wear headphones)

David the manager is helpful as well, I needed help with a billing issue and he resolved it right away! Would recommend solely because the staff is so helpful and friendly! Fantastic experience: They just fixed a bunch of machines that us regulars have been complaining about, so that's why I gave a 5 star review. The morning regulars are nice. However the evening crew, like most gyms are young so pick what time you train. I enjoy going in the morning because the regular guests are very nice.

Fantastic experience: Pretty good gym. Most of the machines dont work because hella people don't take care of them. They just drop weights and mishandle machines.

Fantastic experience: I like this gym. Everyone is nice, and I don't feel out of place. The staff is helpful and my trainer Eddy is great to work with. Already feeling better after just a month, no more soreness every morning getting out of bed! Clean and they machines seem to be maintained. I have not seen any out of order yet. You must try the hydro massage!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Place to workout! Friendly Staff, Discounts Available. I had a trainer that was extremely knowledgeable knowing how to work with people. I was treated with the utmost respect and a lot of effort was put forth to make my experience fruitful. He helped me in all areas, mental concentration, training and diet, to ensure proper growth with no injury! He gave me the evidence to always believe in yourself and your capabilities. He showed no prejudice and had a caring attitude! Wonderful person! DJ.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for a year or so. Staff is friendly, funny, and welcoming. Great price compared to other gyms and is pretty big in size as well. I pay $25 a month (for a 3 month summer membership) and have access to all classes, equipment, the massage rooms, tanning, and can bring a guest. Thanks Crunch!

Fantastic experience: People who are rating this place poorly are too picky. Plenty of means to weight lift, plenty of cardio machines, helpful employees, and, if you have any, a place for your kids. The music makes me feel like I am in the perfume department at Macy's, or sometimes in an elevator, but you can fix that with some headphones. The only other downside is the people who go, but that isn't necessarily the gym's fault.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I finally have a 24 hour gym to go to that is not costing me an arm and a leg. I wish the pool was open 24 hours since I get out of work late.

Fantastic experience: I felt very welcome with the employees at the front counter as they greeted me while i walked in. The atmosphere of crunch is not overwhelming like other gyms. I felt comfortable while i got a great workout in. Thankyou crunch for being my favorite.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here over a year and every time I'm here i notice its very clean. This crunch has a pool so you can't beat the price in the least for what you get. They have a hydro massage table. The guys bathroom has a sauna in it I'd imagine the girls have one as well. They have just about everything a full sized gym has but a racquet ball/squash room.
