Fantastic experience: I have been a member at Penfield Sport and Fitness for just over 2 years now and joining was one of the best decisions I've ever made. In addition to improving my overall health and wellness I have also developed many friendships with the staff and other members. It is a clean, up-to-date fitness environment with knowledgeable trainers who are always willing to encourage members while not intimidating them or pushing them into uncomfortable positions. PSF if a place I look forward to going daily, both to continue my pursuit of fitness and to see the many friendly faces that will greet me there.

Fantastic experience: My family has been coming to Penfield Fitness for nearly 20 years. It's become more than just a gym... it's a "second home" for us and many of our closest friends have become members. I'm close with nearly all of the employees and they do a great job of balancing having great amenities while keeping the small family atmosphere. They have many group classes, a great pool/hot tub, indoor basketball court, "crossfit" type equipment, one-on-one training and more.

Fantastic experience: I've been at Penfield S/F for close to ten years and I wouldn't have it any other way. The free classes are fun and challenging. Equipment is always clean. Great people, great facuility, great fitness.

Josh was amazing when I signed up for my membership and I cannot thank him enough for his excellent customer service. The facility itself is beautiful and they do a great job keeping everything clean so everyone stays safe. All around great place to be a part of!

Fantastic experience: Been coming to PSF for 4-5 years now. After several broken bones and back surgery, the trainers and crew have helped me get into the best shape possible. The machines are pratcally all new. The pool is awesome! Planet Fitness is NO comparison!

Fantastic experience: Clean and well-maintained gym. Has everything you could ask for, and in the weightlifting world they’ve gone above and beyond! The staff is friendly and professional. Been coming here for over year and a half and looking forward to writing this review. There’s a separate section of the gym filled with turf- great for SO many exercises - and the place is overflowing with equipment, from free weights to xfit equipment. They even expanded the offer and started supporting golf classes and simulations! Fun for the whole family. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Very clean. Staff disinfects regularly plus members wipe down equipment before and after each machine they use. Personal trainer staff is top notch. Highly recommend for all ages.

Fantastic experience: parking lot was a bit weird but they're was plenty of spots to park at. we went for my sons swim lessons. wish the bathrooms had a changing station, but they didn't so I changed him on a bench. the pool was very nice, the water temp was ok but my husband did say it was freezing when they got out of the pool and my son was shivering pretty hard. the instructor was amazing I definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I live in Colorado! Apex is so awesome to allow a Temporary Attendance so I can enjoy my daily workouts while in town visiting. It's clean, quiet and the array of machines is fabulous! It's my workout home away from home!

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Up to date equipment, fun and challenging classes. Great amenities with a steam room, sauna, heated pool, and hot tub. Towel service, and in gym smoothie bar. Awesome place! One of the best gyms in the Rochester area for quality. They also have child care which is fantastic for parents who want to stay healthy!

Fantastic experience: This place is AMAZING! I’m not comfortable at just any random gym but Athletic Apex feels like home. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, awesome programs, a mammoth pool, big welcoming spaces and incredible equipment are the stars of this gym. The other patrons are nice, too. There’s a good flow as we work around each other. I’m always glad I came and leave feeling great!

Fantastic experience: I have been playing racquetball for almost 50 years and have had several memberships at clubs around town. I consider PS&F to be my home away from home. After being there for almost 20 years, I couldn't imagine feeling as comfortable and welcome as I do now, anywhere else. The relationships I have developed are priceless. If there is a such thing as the average persons around, that is who you will meet there. No members admiring their muscles in the mirror or showing off the latest gym fashions. Just people who are there to have fun and take care of their health. Today i saw the owner picking up a stray towel in the locker room that someone had just left. You don't see that often.

Fantastic experience: I've missed Penfield Fitness so much since moving! My favorite part was the sense of privacy there is! They have a private women's room and several smaller areas (as well as one large central area) as opposed to one large area where you can be seen at every angle at all times. I was just starting to exercise when I joined so it was a great comfort to me! The staff was always helpful and equipment up to date and clean.
