Crunch Fitness - East Lansing

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym, very clean and the guest are super welcoming. Gavin and Eli welcomed me immediately and did an amazing job! Impressive gym! Natalie was super helpful as well!

Fantastic experience: I really like this gym but it just needs to be cleaned so much better. Dust bunnies & hair balls all over the place, it’s really bad in the back by the stretching / ab section with the mats & the turf. Maybe vacuum once in awhile? Update: it’s been way cleaner lately, great work!

Fantastic experience: I was a guest of a friend and they gym is definitely nice, clean with sanitizing stations, enough equipment to engage each individual on their fitness journey. Staff well versed with information, if you require an assist. Staff interaction with members is definitely a consistent positive vibe. Loved it.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, constantly improving by adding newer equipment. Multiple times I was in there and they were wiping down the weights and organizing equipment. Front desk is always helpful and cheerful especially Sam. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I have been going to East Lansing Crunch for a while now. (2 - 3 months) I have never come across someone on staff who is mean, or rude or what ever you want to say. The staff is very professional and kind, especially Sam, she's amazing!! Always positive, knows my route, and I'm always greeted with a smile. If you are looking for a personal trainer, Mike is your guy. He definitely knows what he is doing and gives out great advice. I recommend this gym 100% hands down! Thanks you guys for making my experience Great!!

Fantastic experience: Signed up recently and have really enjoyed my experience here so far. Staff is great and welcoming and there are a ton of machines/classes for all. Is it very busy and get crowded but I've never had to wait for any machine longer than a few minutes.

Fantastic experience: I joined crunch just after the new year and I'm so happy to have made the switch! I got a personal trainer and he has been so helpful! His name is Dan M. He checks up on me through the week, writes me splits to do, and meets with me once a week to push me through a workout! Having the trainer has really helped me stay motivated and make it to the gym 5 days a week!!

Fantastic experience: One of the larger of the Crunch Fitness locations I've been at (home location is in Ypsilanti) Atmosphere is pretty friendly mostly students, not as many locals. My home Crunch has a bit more ultra competitive people working out which does help me push harder, but I totally get that's not everybody's cup of tea. Pros: as with all Crunch Fitness locations, you probably cannot best the value. Barbell and freeweights for some of the cheapest cost I've seen everywhere. Out of all Crunch locations, this is one of the most clean ones despite it also being one of the largest ones. They have the most benches out of all the locations I've been at. Cons: Slightly awkward layout near the benches in some areas (try not to get hit by someone working out) but it honestly is a pretty minor thing. Overall pretty good gym for the money! You get more than what you pay for.

Fantastic experience: Crunch is one of the best fitness facilities that I have been to so far. The staff is always cheerful and greets me on the way in especially Sam. She has been one of the most enjoyable people to talk to and is always kind.

Fantastic experience: Took a tour at Crunch Fitness in E. Lansing this morning with manager "Sam" today. The facility is very nice, well organized and clean. What they offer is comprehensive. I took advantage of their New Year's promotion. Looking forward to the experience of this gym and my appointment with their exercise/fitness manager to get me started.

Fantastic experience: It is wonderful to know that real customer service still exists. I spoke to Silvana about ALL my concerns about coming back after the Covid shut down and she was patient, extremely knowledgeable and completely understood both the business and customer side of every single thing I asked her. If you weren't sure about whether to join or not, just pick up the phone and call her. I am not their "target" East Lansing client, but she made me feel like I was her single priority during my call. That is not something you teach, it is someone you already are. Simply amazing!!!

Fantastic experience: This place deserves a higher rating. The staff is friendly, the locker room is clean, it does get busy but that’s a sign people like this place. Definitely worth the membership if you enjoy free weights. Edit: you can see the worth in some of these reviews when people have a “problam” with this place. Literally how Dan spelled problem. ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Great equipment, excellent locker room with a sauna which most gyms do not have. Best part is you’re never waiting for equipment because there are more than one type of equipment so you use a different machine that works the same muscle groups.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Crunch Fitness! My wife got the text about the promotion they are running. We called 10 minutes before they were leaving Tropical Smoothie for the day and they had no problem waiting for us, so we decided to race over. Chris and Don were exceptional. Both were very welcoming, helpful, and professional. Don ran through the different memberships and we decided on the Peak membership. We signed up and even stayed to chat about life with Chris and Don afterwards . Overall, we had an awesome experience. #CrunchMember

Fantastic experience: Clean, spacious, with plenty of equipment and weights. Even during peak hours, there seems to be enough for everyone. The locker room is always clean. The associates are helpful and are always cheery. The memberships are affordable and comparable to other chain gyms, but if I had to compare it to 24-Hour Fitness and Planet Fitness, I'd say that Crunch's facilities are better.

Fantastic experience: I love all the classes that they offer and the trainers are all super friendly. The equipment is new and clean. The classes are fun and really get you moving. I can't wait to see how fit I'll be in the next couple of months!
