Fantastic experience: The Guys Chad and Kaden are hands down the best customer services guys. First time in I felt welcomed, and since I didn’t have a membership they offered my first visit free. After a good workout on the basketball court with my brother, they even gave me a genesis t shirt on my way out. Earned my respect, business and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Facility is super clean with many different choices for classes or weights or cardio etc..and the personal trainer Komuri is the best!! The people are friendly, and you know a lot of people here on a first name basis. Highly recommend! I heard the new location down the street is going to be REALLY NICE. I hope it is ready soon!

Fantastic experience: I had 2 personal training sessions with Abe and he gave me great direction and made me feel 100% comfortable being at the gym!! If you want to meet with a personal trainer, Abe is the guy to go to!

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to this gym now for the past 15 months, I’ve lost over 70pounds. I am in the gym 4/5 times a week and work out with the trainer Chris H. The gym is good, the atmosphere here is great and the staff are phenomenal. Without Chris I definitely would not have had the success I have had so far and continue to have. This is the first gym in my entire life that I have ever stuck with past 3 months.

Fantastic experience: We are so fortunate to have this space on the South side. I am at the pool every week day. The locker rooms are always SPOTLESS, the pool is wonderful, with 4 wide lap lanes and a paddle area. Most of the time I have it all to myself. Lois and the rest of the cleaning crew do a great job in the women's locker room. Lois likes to encourage my swimming efforts. She is so cheerful all the time. Go talk to Abe. He will give you the tour. I also like the cycling room. One of these days I am going to sign up for yoga. Fun fun fun.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the water classes. Our instructor Kris is the best! Very motivating, very personal, and I always look forward to her classes! Kaitlyn is also amazing and so great to have!!

Fantastic experience: Love my classes at this gym!! From aqua aerobics, Silver Sneakers (light aerobics/stretch & balance), to chair yoga, they are all wonderful classes that I can DO! (sometimes I have to modify because of physical limitations) but that is totally acceptable . I really enjoy my mornings with my knowledgeable & enthusiastic instructors; Kris, Kim, the other Kim, Shellie & Katelyn!! Come join us.

Fantastic experience: Kris W is the best instructor ever!! I attend her barre class and her aqua classes. If it wasn’t for her I would not be at this gym. She gives us a great workout every single time. I highly recommend all of her classes.

Fantastic experience: Just joined this gym and we love it! My husband takes the kids to child watch everyday while he works out and I have loved all the classes so far. This gym is so beneficial to this community. Mark at the front desk is awesome

Fantastic experience: Positive: Professionalism This is the place to be if you want to get in shape and have fun doing it! My kids love the pool and made lots of friends in Kids Club. My trainer, Chris, is awesome to work with and has given me the results I needed to regain my confidence.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! Equipment is organized, well maintained, and cleaned after every use. The classes they offer are my favorite part of my membership. Body pump is great for building strength of all types as well as building ones confidence. Working out in a group is the best!

Fantastic experience: I really love the caliber of all the instructors. I have to, however, especially give kudos to Kris Warren. She truly cares about us and you can tell it is not just a job with her. Her water classes hit every muscle, are never boring, good intensity and she warns us constantly about what NOT to do to not injure ourselves. I feel so safe in her classes since she is a lifeguard and she closely watches all of us and, therefore, would know if we were in any kind of bad situation immediately. She is happy, fun, encouraging and makes it such an enjoyable experience. To me, she IS Genesis. I do not know of one person who is not totally happy with her teaching. She's a very big reason why I come to Genesis faithfully and why I have told so many people they need to join. I would not know of one area I would suggest in improvement. She's really got it all.

Fantastic experience: The staff and personal trainers at this location are wonderful. It’s a very friendly, encouraging atmosphere. I never thought I would be someone that enjoys going to the gym, but Devin (the trainer I work out with), has made working out such a fun experience! They really do care about your health and fitness and working together to hit your goals. Chris is also pretty cool.

Fantastic experience: Genesis Health Clubs - South Suburban location is a great workout gym for me! The cardio room has great machines such as treadmills, stair stepping machines, rowers, and bikes. The only thing I would change is to have more windows. The weight room has a very wide variety of assisted machines and free weights as well. I do like assisted dip machines which they do not have. They have a pool, basketball court, and workout classes as well. I do wish they had racket ball available. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this gym!

Fantastic experience: Staff here is awesome! Abe helped us out with a specific problem recently and I must say... Amazing rapport and overall awesome customer service and interaction. Gym might be old but the equipment is definitely there if you’re ready to hit the gym. I can see why some people would say other things but it’s temporary and the staff goes out of their way on all occasions with my wife and I to accommodate and help out! 5 stars!
