Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of the Body Shop Fitness Center since they were on the boardwalk! I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to have Adam and his team right here in town. Very comfortable environment where you will begin to know everyone and it starts to feel like family, seeing eh same people every day. The facility is very clean and the equipment is plentiful to get any kind of workout that you want - Cardio, weights, machines - they have it all. Best gym I have ever belonged to!

Positive experience: The only fitness center in area. They offer daily, weekly membership. The gym is clean and has toilets but no shower area. They have lockers you need to bring your own keylock. I was asking for personal trainer ($70)and told to leave a number but nobody call back probably because they only want local.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic holiday gym! They have a great free weights collection, mats, towels and ellipticals are easy to use. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The Body Shop is hands down the best gym in lower Delaware. I have never waited in equipment and it is a nice friendly atmosphere. I like to call it the "Cheers" of gyms. The owner Adam makes a point to get know the members and all the staff are amazing and helpful. The are plenty of different things to choose from - drop-ins, stamp card, memberships. Great place!

Fantastic experience: I love this place! Perfect place to get your workout on before you hit the beach. The location is key, the people are amazing and even during the busiest point of the summer season, I can always get on a machine or find a space to workout. Adam is not only one of the best personal trainers around, he is also a genuine person and really caters your workout to where you are and cares how you are doing. He and his staff really get to know you and they extend themselves to you with a smile when you enter the door. It’s a very personal and personable space to workout in and you always feel better for just showing up!

Fantastic experience: I worked out at the body shop during my vacation week of 9/4 - 9/11/. It was small but clean, and had enough equipment in good working order to complete any workout in a gym rat’s training routine. The staff was also friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for LA Fitness, or Golds go somewhere else. But for a small comfy workout spot I recommend “The body shop fitness center.

Fantastic experience: Great gym for a shore town. All the equipment you need. It gets busy early but tapers off quickly. I highly recommend. Friendly staff and great rates. I always go to this gym when in town.

Fantastic experience: Great place. Friendly staff. Lots of equipment. Forget the Petty reviews about Temp and Dewey goes pink.. That has nothing to do with the shop.. You go to work out and sweat. If you can't do your routine bc there's equipment missing.. Do something else. Don't whine about it. Get Swole.

Positive experience: They are professional and friendly. The air temp is around 72 degrees which could be lowered in my opinion. But otherwise great location, fair pricing, good enough and clean equipment.

Positive experience: It's the only gym in the area, but it's not bad. It has standard equipment, and other stuff you might need to do more complex workouts, but it was a serious downgrade coming from my gym back home. My biggest complaint would be the lack of space available. There was simply no room for me do some of my exercises during peak hours. Overall it did its job as a gym for the week, but I can't recommend it full time.

Fantastic experience: Reasonable daily and weekly rates, good variety of weight lifting and treadmills/bikes. Spinning and yoga classes an added bonus.
