Fantastic experience: Amazing!!!!!! this place has everything for kids and adults alike. They pretty much have all the sports covered and a very nice gym.

Fantastic experience: Doc has one if the best aau teams and coaches around. This man takes care and loves the girls on his team so much. He is not about the money he goes over and beyond for the youth in this organization. The man is so beyond underrated for the care and compassion he has for kids.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym there is tons of programs it used to do the boxing and soccer but I stopped and now just go down to the gym and I go with my friends downstairs to the basketball court and we play for a while and I also workout at the gym and people there are mostly nice I like the industrial design of the gym and the basketball court most gyms don’t have programs and basketball courts and I’m able to walk to there and always stay there for a while.

Fantastic experience: Hype athletics is great for the family . My family and I have been members from day one. The fitness classes are my favorite but there are plenty of exercise equipment at hype, the equipment is state of the art. Very clean facility and excellent client services. The City of Dearborn heights is lucky to have hype athletics. Thanks to all the employees for the five star services!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this recreational center for a few years and they are very friendly as well as helpful…….once I brought my sister with me,who was actually going into a diabetic coma at the time her sugar was 24 and had it not been for the staff whom immediately went into action to help me with her,I don’t know what the outcome would’ve been, because I was a nervous wreck and they calmly and quickly went into action I’m so grateful and thankful for them…..Also I would like to add that I’m an African American woman and they have never been rude or disrespectful to me

Positive experience: Love all the classes and instructors! I wish Jackie can teach in the mornings as well. Loved her class it was amazing! On February 18, I did Jackie’s class again and my abs were contracting and sore for 3 days! Unbelievable I felt like I got an amazing workout!! In addition, my arms were sore too and I knew that workout worked!! Loved it!!

Fantastic experience: If you haven’t tried Gina’s yoga class you are missing out! She’s so soft spoken which makes her class more relaxing and calming! She uses great stretching Techniques I feel like a new person after leaving her class!

Fantastic experience: Love the womens only gym especially Jackies class! High energy, great workout and already feeling healthier! Wish there were more classes that she taught everyday!

Fantastic experience: I was at Hype (mainly for their gyms) for about 5 years. After the shutdown, I had ventured out and tried another and I recently came back to Hype. I noticed they made a lot of very nice changes to both the co-ed gym and the women's gym upstairs. They rearranged and added more equipment which is a huge plus. I appreciate having the option to work out in the women's section or in the main gym. The staff is great, welcoming, and listen to feedback. I def. recommend checking their website and seeing what they offer there.

Fantastic experience: Great place for families & kids of all ages! Many programs to accommodate kids and guests of all age. My kids are in the Soccer and basketball programs as well as the summer camps and absolutely love spending time at Hype! Fantastic experience: You know you're at a great facility when the owner works out with the patrons and makes sure everyone's masked up. Always a good day in the free weights/machine room! Update: If you want to use the courts and you're complaining how they're always taken, then wake up early ya bums, I balled for 2 hours this morning by myself. Not one person was in there so hush that bs, thanks in advance

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this since since 2014 and I have no complaints. It’s always clean and they are always adding the latest equipment. I like that they have a woman’s section too, makes it easier to work out with being all covered. And you can’t beat the price either. Love this gym!!

Fantastic experience: i honestly don't understand how some of these reviews are negative about the staff ive been here long enough and the employees have the best service not once did i ever experience anything unpleasant the gym is nice and its inexpensive. The womens gym could use an update but overall its a good gym.

Fantastic experience: Germs, bacteria, and viruses can easily spread in damp environments, so cleanliness is an important factor to consider when working out. Many gyms provide wipes and surface cleaners for people to use before and after the workout. Was amazed when walking in to this faculty how their own staff members themselves were the ones sanitizing and make sure the facility is maintained.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym, especially after all the expanding. The staff is super nice and helpful. My clumsy self dropped my phone inside the stair master (don't ask me how). Luckily I went to the front desk and Jackie was there. She's the best without hesitation she came upstairs to help me get my phone. Thank you so much Jackie, you're a life saver!!

Staff is awesome and always willing to go an extra step to ensure the happiness of their members! Fantastic experience: I joined Hype Athletics August 2017. Promotional membership. I love this gym. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I love that they have a private woman's area. The workout classes are fun and challenging. I also noticed the cleaning staff keep it very clean. Thank you Hype!

Fantastic experience: I'm being real people. I joined a few months ago. This place cares about it's members and the community. I read some complaints and I fully disagree. Some people can't and won't be happy with policy and structure. It's clean, safe, and has a great gym, track and bball courts. I love hype!

Fantastic experience: I've been with hype since it was a basketball league at the civic center and it has grown into a wonderful community. I love that they offer a women's gym that caters to women of all fitness levels. Usually all women gyms have only cardio machines and a few light weights, but Hype listens to what their members want and delivers. They just renovated and during construction a staff member, and the personal trainers, were asking the regulars what they would like in the expansion. The only down side is that almost no one re-racks their weights! Staff members have been good about organizing the workout areas throughout the day, but what is so hard about re-racking your own weights?! Both pictures are in the women's side (taken when it was empty because there is a no picture/video taking policy in the women's section for privacy reasons.)

Fantastic experience: Honestly, hype has really gone measured to make improvements and I’m just proud to make this my preferred gym. The staff has improved, arrangement and all!

Fantastic experience: HYPE Athletics Community and both HYPE Recreation Centers offer individuals as well as families athletics, fitness, education such as tutoring, and social services. I highly recommend it to everyone. I have five (5) children and they participate in the basketball clinics as well as the girls' volleyball league in the fall & summer.

Fantastic experience: It is a great gym for a family and individuals who want to get back in shape. They are currently expanding the gym area and it has a womens gym as well as a co ed gym.

Fantastic experience: Love Hype. Been a member and a part of the basketball program for years and it's great. Very nice staff and nice facility.They offer all kinds of training, programs and sports for kids and adults. They also have a facility in Wayne with a very nice pool, banquet room, sauna, gym, and of course basketball courts and more. Oh and I can't forget about the good food!

Fantastic experience: Definitely a great recreational center with affordable membership services that are mainly for profit. An organization who focuses and cares about the future of the youth by providing innovating ideas to better our community's youth.

My son & his friends love this place , Hype offers children of all ages an opportunity to join in community Activities , Hype gives kids and young adults of all skill levels a chance to participate in basket ball leagues - great team building skills that encourage development of team sprits..
