Fantastic experience: Shoutout to the Manager Aiden he was working diligently with his customers to sort out a mistake in the system. Although he was put under stress he was able to go about the issue as professionally as possible. Great customer service skills!

Fantastic experience: In looking for another gym closer to home, my focus was on customer service and equipment maintenance. I wanted to be sure concern was met with resolve if ever an issue came up. Second, a properly maintained gym is an efficient gym. If you can’t provide excellence in either area, be ready to endure the loss. Upon entry, I was welcomed by Marina then given a tour of the entire facility. She was thorough in explaining the various amenities the gym had to offer keeping the conversation in tone and polite. There wasn’t one question she didn’t have an answer to when I asked, and there was no pressure during the sign-up process. The monthly fee is nominal, and there is no hassle to cancel. Parking is plentiful with spaces front and back. The people here workout with a purpose and I never feel out of place asking for a spot. The only gripe I would have would be the ones curling their damn phones. It’s been two months since I joined, and I am happy to state I am more than satisfied. Overall cleanliness is right on par, including the locker room and bathrooms. Someone’s always cleaning something! The towel service is a major convenience and there are always plenty available at the counter. Shout out and kudos to Aiden for his attentive stance in keeping the equipment safe and in working order. Something that was rare and uncommon at my previous gym. I recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great environment to work out in.

Fantastic experience: What a hidden gem of a place. Dropped in for a session after my flight was delayed. It can be incredibly hard to find a gym with an open gym and the space I'd typically need, from functional fitness to bodybuilding. But, Fitness System had everything I needed, the space I needed, and the environment I enjoy. The manager was incredibly kind, calm, and helpful. The people there seemed like they genuinely enjoyed each other and were comfortable being in there. Can't recommend it enough, regardless of your fitness type choice. I'll be back, 100%.

Fantastic experience: The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and care more about safety and technique then getting you sweaty and sending you home, which I highly respect.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place! Staff are always cleaning and this place does not smell like most gyms. The only issue I have ever had was not the gym itself at all. It is the need for luggage racks around the gym! The patrons seem too always being hitting the gym right before a trip. I can only guess this because many of them are lugging around luggage during their workouts. If they aren’t going on a trip I would be very interested in knowing what they are lugging around while working out. Or I must be doing something wrong. Love this gym and you will also.

Fantastic experience: I find it HILARIOUS that people on these reviews chose to go to this gym, and when it wasn’t satisfactory, they bring up “pandemics” and “covid”. I was (I moved away sadly) a member for a year and they were the ONLY gym to stay open. They were the ONLY gym to stand by their beliefs that health and fitness is essential! Nobody made you go to a gym, so don’t bring up “there were no masks” and then try to ruin it for those of us that take care of our bodies. It’s a sad day in America when people shoot themselves in the foot and point fingers. A gym, in nature, is a very intimate environment in terms of sweat, sharing items you touch, and confined space. If you are SOOO concerned with those 3 things, why the heck are you at a gym Stay home. Don’t ruin it for the ones who choose self bodied freedom. Thanks for everything guys! I miss you!

Fantastic experience: Honestly I haven't been inside but from the outside of it just going over there letting my kids like skate and scooter and Hoover on the parking lot they've never bothered us it's a very well lit gym it has a lot of machines it's not overcrowded it looks extremely clean and no one's bothered us over there I mean I think it's quiet safe and I can't wait to try you out thank you fitness system I'll be there

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! The staff are SO NICE and keep it very clean. It doesn't smell bad like a popular gym in the downtown area that I used to go to. Also, I feel like this is a place for people who are serious about their workouts versus being a pick up spot. I can stop by at anytime and know that the equipment I want to use will be available. And I can work out in peace!

Fantastic experience: Signed up for a membership when this place first opened and was a loyal patron until I moved out of the area in 2018. I've been to other, bigger gyms and no place compares to Fitness System. Great equipment, clean, great staff. I live about 2 minutes away from a bigger gym and decide to drive 30 minutes to Fitness System. It also helps that the owner is a big proponent of personal freedom, especially during these dictatorish times. Highly highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great gym and extremely well equipped. Lots of quality barbells, bumper plates, and squat racks. Very inexpensive & no hassle for travelers looking for a day/week pass while they’re passing through Sacramento.

Fantastic experience: This gym is big for a local shop and has every imaginable equipment possible to get a great workout. They've done a lot of work to get the word out, and I've never seen so many muscular people at a gym than this place. They've got a variety a classes to choose from at all hours of the day, so there's something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Love the unique gym equipment they have. The staff is chill and welcoming. They have bodybuilding documentaries playing on tv, which is motivating to serious bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts. Definately recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Sweat class is intense. I love the motivational speach before and after. Really does feel like a family. AL's a great trainer. He pushes but he is positive. I don't do well with negative so I really appreciate his patience and positive reinforcement. Makes me want to keep trying.

Fantastic experience: For me it's the best place to workout. Open 24/7 except they close early 3 days/year. They have something for everyone. Especially if you're onto body building, they have lots of stations, benches &free weights. I love the brands of equipment mainly Icarian. It's almost impossible not to find a piece of equipment to use being they have 5 or 6 bench press machines a couple of smith machines a plethora of ways to workout any body part at any given time.

Fantastic experience: This place is great! Top notch equipment and lots of it! The staff is always very friendly, they do a great job at keeping everything clean, good selection of classes to take, there’s always enough people that it doesn’t feel like a ghost town, but rarely enough people to call it crowded. No annual contract which is great for someone like me who moves a lot for work. My ONLY gripe is that SOMETIMES they run out of towels, I usually come in late evenings(9ish) so i don’t really see much issue with it earlier in the day. Great gym, awesome people, good pricing

Fantastic experience: Top notch customer service l, friendly staff and excellent trainers. Penelope C. signed me up early this year and I'm a member ever since. She's great and very helpful. Always have a happy smile. I have a spin class on Monday and Wednesday and the class is phenomenal. Come take a tour and check it yourseld. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fitness System In West Sac is hands down the best gym in Sacramento for legit people wanting to workout. The vibe is great, the staff, owners and management cater to its members. Plenty of iron to throw around, tons of up to date equipment and machines. The Crossfit room is a bonus for different training activities. The members are a wide variety too. From your serious power lifters to first time gym folks and all in between. The owners and management have went out of their way to cater to a group I am training to do the Spartan Beast with! Thank you! Its not your basic large chain type gym that caters to people who just come to hang out and post selfies. This gym is for legit people who share the common goal of getting in shape. NOT afraid to sweat or put in some hard work.

Fantastic experience: I've been to tons of gyms. This place has some of the best equipment I've seen. Pieces you don't find elsewhere. It makes workouts more interesting, exciting, and productive. Their monthly rate is reasonable and competitive as well. My only issue is that it's too far away from me!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Fitness System for almost 3 years now. In that few years I can't think of a single complaint about machines, staff, or maitnence. It does have everything you could want or need for any goals. I have access to other gyms via work and school and Yet, I still choose fitness system over them. I Will be staying in this gym as long as I am in the Sacramento region, excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! The staff is amazing, there is wide variety of exercise equipment and machines, and a TON of great classes that will get you in shape!

Fantastic experience: I have now been going to fitness system for a year and I am very pleased. They have all the equipment I need and more. So whatever my goals are, I know I have the tools to reach those goals. I rarely have to wait to use a station or machine and the environment is friendly. Also, the price is unbeatable and I can add family to my plan, making it cheaper if the bill is spread out.
