Fantastic experience: Everybody is very Professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Best place for us seniors to get and stay in shape. Hot tub, steam room and sauna! Riverwalk (current), heated water workout area, lap, and separate smaller pools; one with balance bar! Senior group aqua aerobics, strength, balance and pilates classes. All levels and all lead by very qualified friendly and motivating instructors with your safety and abilities in mind. Most adult (and children's) swim and water fitness classes come with the membership, and, for an affordable fee, private sessions are available, too. Family Swim days are also offered. PLUS... Clean, complete and up-to-date exercise/weight equipment. Zumba, yoga classes and more! Very affordable monthly dues! Ask for a free walk through and become immediately impressed!

Fantastic experience: I started at Powell with their Fitscripts program, which is an into to the gym after completing physical therapy last summer. It is a wonderful intro to regular gym workouts and you are closely monitored after a very specific intake analysis of BMI, endurance, etc. During the 8 week program you are monitored and at the end you get another analysis to compare fitness levels. It is a wonderful place to workout. There are many classes, a large variety of workout machines, and the heated indoor pool has a lap pool, a lazy river and a warmer arthritis swim area: a large hot tun and sauna complete the swim area. The locker room and showers are spacious and clean. They have a smoothie bar.

Fantastic experience: Had several P.T. sessions at Powell Wellness following hip replacement surgery. Jackson was outstanding. He carefully listened and provided an exercise program that I followed while at PW and at home. He observed carefully and provided instruction as I worked out. Have been to another nearby rehab facility where the level of attention left much to be desired. Also had Daniel for 1 session at PW. He too was top notch.

Fantastic experience: I joined about a year ago. Very clean and always friendly. With COVID happening, they’re doing an amazing job on screening people before coming in and keeping it VERY cleaned and sanitized. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am in water therapy. I have nerve damage in my lower back and severe lack of movement in my left leg. I also have Lymphedema. But I still have a lot of life left I me. When a top physiologist from INOVA and the Mayo Clinic’s Spinal Clinic said water therapy was the best therapy I listened. I am now in the water with a great knowledgeable Team of Water Therapists who work one on one to help me heal. Thank you, Powell’s at Culpepper!

Fantastic experience: Excellent and friendly staff ready to assist with any questions. Personal training available and classes are geared towards people of all ages and medical conditions. The pool is amazing and great for exercise and therapy as well. I must say the hot tub is a welcome feature. Don't forget to grab a delicious smoothie on your way out!

I have several physical limitations and they've consistently helped and encouraged me as I work on strengthening weakened muscles and building endurance

Fantastic experience: Member for five years. PWC is medically certified. Fitness equipment is high quality. Trainers are available, not pushy. Many members are there daily. You see folks working for results, not just for show. Some have a long road and are determined.

Highly recommend not only for PT the gym, pool, steam room, sauna, smoothie bar, and numerous classes offered are excellent! I used to go to warrenton, however, after taking my mom to therapy at Powells, I decided it was so much better!!

Fantastic experience: I love Powell. It is my happy place. The facility is clean and well stocked with all types of equipment. The pool is the greatest resource in the county. The spin bikes, TRX, free weights are in good shape. The remodel is great, but we could use another room for group exercise. The free trials on the premium training is a great idea, wish they could do that again. The Zumba glow parties are so much fun, I wish we could do that with spin and step classes, as well as the new releases from Les Mills. The new tubes, free weights and kettleballs are terrific, thank you all. Kelly R, Mandy, Sarah Mahoney, Kaori, Kimberly and Demetria are fabulous instructors. Annette is wonderful. The Barre class is great, wish we could get it regularly. I love this place and do my best to let others know how great it is.

Fantastic experience: Have utilized the pool facilities, as well as the track and individual work out machines. Have also needed physical therapy sessions for two separate rehab occurrences. Satisfied on all fronts!

Fantastic experience: The gym and equipment is nice but I love, love the lazy river and pool! The water is warm, the people are great, and the jacuzzi is even better.

Fantastic experience: If you have kids, the kids rate here is so much better than Golds in Culpeper. Two free hours every day of daycare with the family membership. Also have kids camps, kids pool hours, kids zumba, etc. If you're a single person who doesn't care about access to a pool, or a huge variety of classes, try anytime

Fantastic experience: Powell Wellness Center is a highlight for my family. The staff take a personal interest in your goals and the facilities are immaculately clean. My kids love the lazy river and the kids' play room. My favorite thing about this place is that the administration is constantly improving every little aspect from the classes they offer to the renovating and adding of equipment. Best place to work out, hands down.

Fantastic experience: I love this gym. I have been a member of the other two gyms in Culpeper as well, but Powell is by far the best. It is not as crowded and during the middle of the day (around lunch time) is a great time to go.
